We stayed here for 1 night in October 2025. Location is super convenient for visiting Balchik, and the staff at the reception and breakfast area were super nice. We got a room with a direct view to the sea, we drank our coffee there watching the sunrise and slept with the window open listening to the waves. We had an excellent sleep here. Thank you for everything!

We stayed at Regina Maria Hotel in Balchik and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel itself is a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. We were lucky to get a beautiful sea view room without any extra charge – the view was truly the highlight of our stay.

The staff at reception were very kind and helpful, speaking Romanian, English, and Bulgarian, which made communication easy. Another big plus was the restaurant: they serve the best espresso I’ve had in a hotel, really worth mentioning!

While I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars due to the age of the hotel, it’s definitely a solid 3-star stay with excellent service, great coffee, and unforgettable sea views.

Definitely recommend for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Although I have travelled to many lovely places, this is my favourite hotel. It has the privilege of being situated next to Queen Maria' s castle and garden. Every room has an incredible sea view and a great design. The food is tasty (the restaurant is very elegant) and the staff friendly and helpful.

I ate the best eggplant salad here. Dishes are good and service the same.
Didn't stay at the hotel because everytime when I was in Balchik was a day trip, but I take in consideration to stay few days here in the future as the view offered by the hotel is awesome (it is in the front of the Black sea) and, also, it has a nice spa.

4 stars? For what ? Dirty room, full of insects, wallpaper coming off the walls, dirty and overused bed sheets, horrible stuff talking like they would be doing things for free … we have asked for coffee in the room at 8 am and they said they cannot bring it as it is too early for them…. stay away from this mess hotel, it is a horrible !!! Do not stay here !!!!

The entire hotel team (including the one from the restaurant and from the spa area) exceptionnaly friendly and helpful. The room clean, cosy, spacious and with fabulous sea view. Loved staying here (for a 3 nights stay) and hope to be back soon enough. Thank you for the warm athmosphere!
