Nice place to have few days in Balchik, close to Botanical Garden and Castle. A little to far from Balchik centre and beach. Room was small but cosy and clean enough. I ate the best eggplant salad here. Dishes are good and service the same. Didn't stay at the hotel because everytime when I was in Balchik was a day trip, but I take in consideration to stay few days here in the future as the view offered by the hotel is awesome (it is in the front of the Black sea) and, also, it has a nice spa.

Well, service in Bulgaria is poor. Fridge was not working in our room, we asked 3 times to fix it/replace it and nothing happened. Water playground was turned on only 3 times, then we were told it is broken. No one was taking care of pool surrounding. Bar is ok, but they dont often know how to mix drinks. The all-inclusive is great - food is on the level of Turkish all-inclusive. The rooms are very spacious, cleaned daily, and renovated. The beach is huge and the hotel is right next to it.

The resort was ok for us, but better for people with young children. Everything was a little run down. Staff was very nice, but they were not really prepared to accommodate someone eating gluten free (despite the website and my email exchange). We stayed for 1 week and my daughter had a choice of pasta, pizza, or grilled chicken for all 20 meals or to risk the buffet.

It is not the best hotel and my room wasn't the cleanest and smelt a bit weird. There is a TV and shower room/toilet and a small fridge and a AC so that's good. There is a pool but on the day I was there I was freeeeezing. I'm not sure the pictures match the reality, it wasn't "all inclusive" when I stayed, the restaurant and the pool was not working, so "no inclusive". The rooms are basic but the position next to the palace and the gardens more than makes up for it's previous mentioned shortfalls.

I've been there in late May last year, during off-season. The personnel was extremely friendly, especially the cook who spoiled us and the chief-of-staff lady! We went here to eat as it was top rated in Balchik, some of us got greek salads and we got the veggies whole on the plate and a chunk of feta on top, no plating, not cut, and also they used vegetable oil not olive oil for it! Needles to say it did not taste good. The prices are also pretty high for what they offer. The garlic bread and fried chicken was decent though and the staff friendly.
