The hotel is spotless, with staff and cleaners always around. My room was a comfortable double with a strong walk-in shower, quality toiletries and a small balcony with a sea view - perfect for unwinding. I did, however, have an issue with ants on the bedside tables at night. The hotel was fully booked so I couldn’t move rooms, but housekeeping eventually resolved it. Also note: rooms above the Elia restaurant can hear music until around midnight, and the fridge has no minibar items.
Breakfast leans heavily German/European, with pickled vegetables and sausages alongside standard continental options. There’s an omelette station and good coffee machines, though the fruit was flavourless and I unfortunately experienced food poisoning on two mornings.
The outdoor pool area is lovely (though cold in November), and indoors you’ll find a smaller pool, two (weak) jacuzzis and compact sauna/steam rooms. The gym is small but usually empty and well-equipped enough.
Overall, it’s a solid 4-star option and great value if you’re after a peaceful, low-key break - ideal for solo travellers, friends or couples in the off-peak months.
You can access the beach just by crossing the street.

The hotel itself is beautiful – modern, stylish, and spotless. Our room was comfortable, with a lovely view, and it felt like every detail was designed with relaxation in mind. The pool area is stunning, perfect for enjoying the sun, while the beach is just a short walk away.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious food and fresh local flavors. We especially appreciated the romantic atmosphere in the evenings – it made our honeymoon feel even more special. On top of everything, the hotel surprised me with a birthday gift: a cake, a bottle of red wine, and a handwritten greeting card. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable.
What stood out the most, however, was the staff’s kindness and professionalism. They always greeted us with a smile and were ready to help with anything we needed.
We are so grateful for the wonderful memories created here and would highly recommend Napa Mermaid to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. It was the ideal place to celebrate our honeymoon, and we would love to come back one day!
The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered plenty of delicious options.
The staff were attentive and very helpful. I had some noisy neighbors late at night, but the staff quickly responded and resolved the issue within minutes every time I called. They also offered to change my room if needed, but the noise improved, so I stayed. The sound carried through the connecting door, so I assume not all rooms have this issue.
The pool is beautiful and a great spot to spend an afternoon. The spa pool is stunning, and it was wonderfully quiet when I visited. The gym facilities were clean and well-equipped, and I also enjoyed a great massage at the spa—highly recommend it.
The hotel is in a quiet area, about 10 minutes away from the main road with lots of parties and clubs. It’s close enough to explore restaurants while still avoiding the busy nightlife.
The beach is just across the street. While it was busy due to school holidays in August, there was still plenty of space on the sand and chairs to rent. The water was calm and clean, although a bit crowded for swimming during peak times.
The floor without carpet so all night i heard the people above my room that decided to walk with strong steps.
