First, about the pros: excellent breakfasts at the hotel - the choice is excellent, free sparkling wine for breakfast, a huge selection of egg preparation options, fresh juices, pastries, vegetarian options (although I didn't need them). Very friendly staff. Good location of the hotel, very quiet in the evenings, because there are no crowds of tourists. You need to walk 5-10 minutes to the sea to the public beach. The hotel does not have its own beach. Take rooms with a sea view - this is a great option and you are guaranteed a beautiful view in the morning. There is indoor parking for cars - this is great.
Now about the minuses: what's the joke with the sun loungers? Why can't guests be banned from brazenly putting a towel on a sun lounger in the morning? They do it at 7 am and then come back 5 hours later ... at this time the rest of the guests are walking around and looking for where to settle down. Honestly, I'm shocked by this situation, some kind of frivolous behavior. The hookah for $25 is very mediocre and after an hour the taste of tobacco is no longer felt (and lastly, the rooms already require updating and cosmetic repairs.

Amarande hotel is simply amazing. Staff is polite and welcoming and the service was excellent. For any foodie out there, the breakfast has more variety than any person could ever hope for and the rooms are luxurious. Also the cleanliness is top notch. Amarande should be the only choice for anyone in the dilemma of what hotel to choose in the area!

My recent stay at the Amarande Hotel in Ayia Napa was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of modern design, blending luxury with a serene atmosphere. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Dining at the Amarande was a culinary delight. The breakfast buffet was a feast, offering a wide range of fresh and delicious options, catering to all tastes. The on-site restaurants provided a variety of gourmet dishes, each meal surpassing our expectations. The service was consistently excellent, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences. Congrats to all employees in the reception area, in the pool area, breakfast and sinner restaurants all are GREAT!!!!

This hotel is superb, definitely a 5*.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The whole hotel was spotless. A great variety to choose from the breakfast buffet and fresh omelettes cooked to order! We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast rate as the hotel is in walking distance to a variety of restaurants and taverns. Although we did eat in the restaurant for the Mediterranean themed evening (at an additional cost of 30 euros each), and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The bar staff and entertainment in the lounge were very pleasant. The hotel is also close to bus stops, and for 5 euros you can get an all day bus pass and hop on and off wherever you like.
We stayed in an inland view facing room, which was very clean and spacious. Lighting, AC, curtains etc are all operated by a simple touch control panel , the room was very comfortable. The only downside with the room was that it faced another hotel's swimming pool and children's water park. This wasn't a problem for us as the hotel was still getting ready to open for the season, so it was empty. I would imagine it would be quite noisy once it's open and feel it defeats the purpose of going to an Adult Only hotel only to have to endure this, so I would highly recommend upgrading to a sea view or partial sea view room (our friends stayed in a partial sea view room and it was lovely).
Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning next year.

Amarande hotel is an amazing place to stay!! You really get worth for your money here. The rooms are super luxurious and clean. The staff is amazing, so warm, helpful and friendly. You really get a warm welcome from them and they really make your stay very very pleasant!!! If you are looking for a place where you get pampered and get the best of the best of service, don’t look any further. I need to give a special shoutout to staff member Anne Marie, who has helped us out with a problem we had on our side. She is amazing and the way she helped us is something we will never forget. Thanks to her and the hotel we were able to relax and enjoy oud long awaited holiday.
Breakfast is also 10/10, we were mindblown with all the various options and fresh food. Cleaning ladies are also very nice and very helpful. Beach is just 5 min away.

Terrible service, with reception or the shift manager (Maria) having significant difficulty with every detail that needs to be addressed. There is zero initiative from the hotel staff to find solutions.
Due to the lack of any engagement from the staff, I had to pay for something I had already paid for.
I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for good and hassle-free service

The Amarande Hotel is an adults only, 5 star hotel on the edge of Ayia Napa. It is in a quiet area but still within easy reach of the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, the harbour and town. There is also a bus stop and taxi rank close by.
The hotel is immaculately presented, beautifully decorated and super clean. The staff are excellent giving friendly and helpful service.
The rooms are quite minimalistic but decorated to a high standard. It has all the amenities that you need including excellent WiFi, bottled water, a coffee machine, mini bar (chargeable), robes and slippers and an amazing waterfall shower. I particularly liked the draw containing the tea and coffee as it also had two beakers, two wine glasses and a wine/bottle opener.
Food was of a very good quality with breakfast in particular being fantastic. The pool area is very clean and spacious with plenty of loungers and a bar/restaurant. There are great views from all round the hotel and it has live music in the evenings along with an indoor pool, spa and shop.
It was my Birthday during my stay and a bottle of Cava, a card and a plate of fruit was left in our room, a lovely gesture.
Overall, I could not fault the hotel, it was absolutely superb. Very highly recommended.

However, as our stay progressed, we encountered several drawbacks that dampened our enthusiasm. The limited view from our balcony, overshadowed by a closed neighboring hotel and its water park, detracted from the overall ambiance, particularly after nightfall when the area took on an eerie atmosphere. Additionally, the unfortunate proximity of our room to the cleaners' quarters resulted in occasional disturbances, disrupting our peace and quiet and diminishing the quality of our rest.
One of the most significant disappointments was the inconsistency in temperature control. Despite assurances of a comfortable environment, the indoor pool was noticeably colder than expected, making it less enjoyable to use. Similarly, the air conditioning in our room proved to be unreliable, leading to discomfort during colder early hours and sweltering heat at certain times in the afternoon.
Furthermore, the hotel's parking facilities left much to be desired, with extremely limited space causing frustration and inconvenience for guests, especially during peak hours. This issue added unnecessary stress to our stay, particularly for those arriving by car.
While the breakfast spread offered a decent variety of options, it failed to leave a lasting impression, with nothing particularly outstanding or memorable about it. Considering the overall experience offered, the pricing seemed disproportionately high, especially during the off-season, raising concerns about the value for money aspect of our stay.
