Ahmed and George the Bartenders are amazing!! All the bartenders were fab but these two were the best. Ahmed never leaves!
The dining staff were incredible too!! Especially Henry - he made our stay wonderful, it was so lovely seeing him every morning and every evening. There was also a lovely waiter from Nepal (we didn't get his name) he was fab too!!
The entertainment team were spectacular!! Very impressed by them and the events they put on were very fun and entertaining so big shout out to them.
The cleaning team, especially one of the ladies who cleaned the second floor rooms was so so lovely, saying hi every morning and making us feel very at home.
I can't fault the staff here one single bit. You are all AMAZING and made our stay 10/10.

Rooms were very clean. Food was good. The pools were nice. The staff made our stay. Chet, Khum and Nasim the bar staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel is well located close to the beach and with many internal opportunities. The heated pool is a perfect place for rainy days and the gym is the perfect place to retire and relax after the generous meal that can be served inside the hotel. The service is exceptional , because of Khum and Henry who every day made funny jokes while doing their job with professionalism. The cleanliness is impeccable every day.

4* Hotel that has recently been refreshed. It looks nice and clean. Definitely a big plus is the service, which is nice, friendly and helpful. This compensated for minor faults, e.g. coffee machines in the dining room were only open for breakfast. It was the first time I had encountered such a hotel. Of course, coffee was at the bar but it was not the same. The food was good and varied as for the off-season. Every evening there were various performances and Bingo. In conclusion, I am pleased with the Hotel.

Arrived at the hotel to a very warm welcome, hotel is oldish in decor, but the cleanliness is spotless, the food might not be fine dining, but when you see the restaurant managers eating what everyone else is you know it’s good food … breakfast, lunch and dinner all great. A well run hotel by an amazing group of staff, from cleaners, entertainment staff to receptionists, but top marks goes to “George, the non dancing barman in the photo 😂, but sure would dance if asked😂” (be good to him and all the bar staff and they will take care of you) a well run and fun entering bar. 1000% recommend.

I recently returned from a wonderful vacation and wanted to share my experience at the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!
Firstly, I have to mention the great bartender, George. He was not only friendly and attentive but also made some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted. George truly added a special touch to our evenings at the hotel bar.
The food was another highlight of our stay. It was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the variety and quality of the dishes. A special mention goes to the head chef for the amazing desserts – they were simply outstanding!
The rooms were quite spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring or lounging by the pool.
One suggestion for improvement would be the safety barrier by the rooftop pool. It would be even better if the barrier were transparent, as the views from up there are great, and it would be nice to enjoy them fully while sitting in the water.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We have just had a wonderful 10 days holiday, we came last year and couldn’t wait to come back. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff are all so friendly, everywhere is clean, the food is delicious always so many options at lunch and dinner and the entertainment staff are great fun and the evening entertainment was enjoyable too. Would definitely recommend coming here as a group of 7 of us family and friends we had a really great time and was very sad to go home. Big shout out to Cosmin and Yves keeping everyone entertained day and night, Agatha on reception who was very welcoming and helpful and Ibrahim too and the wonderful friendly bar staff George, Chet, Khum, Henri and Ahmed and big thanks to all the staff at lunch and dinner. Hopefully will be back again soon.

140 Room - Avlida Hotel
- [ ] Flickering bathroom light - was told that this was going to be fixed on day 1 but it never did so we were left with one working light for the rest of the week.
- [ ] Black hair on bed and stains
- [ ] Awful view
- [ ] Stains on the walls
- [ ] Loud aircon
- [ ] Thin walls so could hear the conversation to the T of next door.
- [ ] No hand soap
- [ ] Maid goes into room even when do not come in sign was in when we were away.
- [ ] Maid breaks door handle so the master key only works until we wait for maintenance to fix door handle. (Had to stay in our room for 4+ hours waiting for maintenance)
- [ ] Breakfast has very limited choices and juice is disgusting, like a syrup rather than a hot chocolate.
- [ ] Heard horror stories from other guests staying - had to change rooms as she found herself itching in her bed to only find a nest of ants in her bed , another guest said that their neighbours had to get a cockroach removed from their room. Another guest said they gave her family the wrong room sizes
- [ ] Waited 4 hours in our room for maintenance.
- [ ] False hope for a late check out, told to come and check at 10:30 the day of leave however it may be possible to extend to even later to 6 - granted nothing was confirmed however how they reacted when they said we can’t, they said we have half an hour to pack and leave before they escalate causes - poor management and handling.
- [ ] Only good thing is the entertainment and bar staff.
- [ ] This is the first negative review I have posted online in my life so please take that as you will.
- [ ] Not worth your money, very overpriced for what you get - would say it’s a 3 star at most and wouldn’t complain if it was in the 250-400 pp for a week but absolutely not worth 600 for bed and breakfast.

Ibrahim on reception from initial greeting at check in was fabulous helpful and attentive at all times going above and beyond! A treasure for the hotel to enjoy as a member of staff. The hotel is clean and friendly. The staff make the difference to the experience especially the bar staff who have seen it all and still smile and laugh! Even George!

Yves the entertainer was lovely and full of energy. The water aerobics we participated in was so much fun. The entertainment here is excellent and the staff are lovely!! I’ve loved every minute of my stay and the room and balcony is amazing with the views!!! The food is spectacular and so are the drinks!!!
