The website photo shows a spacious area with a table and chairs and plenty of space to separate the twin beds. The reality is a room where you cannot walk around the beds, let alone have space to sit at a table. The walls are not insulated, so you will hear everything that your neighbours are saying, and I was wearing ear plugs. The electronic check in machines did not work, and there was only one person at reception dealing with a long queue. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

We didn’t have the best sleep the first night. Some guests where screaming and running in the hallway, but the second night was quiet. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the place was clean. We also didn’t have any problems with our roommates. The morning buffet was also good. Location wise a bit far with public transport. Service was friendly!

I booked a single room for 2 people. The room was very clean, we had our own bathroom and shower and a small study room. The atmosphere in lobby is also very good. The location is just perfect as you can easily access the bus stop which is in front of the Hostel and The U8 which is just 5 to 8 min. walk away. Would surely recommend it as its value for the money you pay.

Perfectly good facility. The interior design of the whole hostel was quite lovely and the services offered satisfying. Location-wise I was happy as a bus stop was nearby and the subway was only a brisk 10 min walk away. There are many cute cafes and things to do around the area and you’re in the city centre pretty fast. The only negative aspect was the bathroom being so small that if you were to sit on the toilet normally, you couldn’t close the door/hit your knees in the door.

Reading some of the reviews, I feared the worst. It turned out it is not so bad - the common areas are very nice and the room was very clean and while some parts had shown some significant wear and damage, the important parts (bed & bathroom) were in perfect condition.
It had some other minor issues (there are only two elevators and one of them was busted; the parking spaces are too few and even though we tried to reserve them in advance, we got ghosted by the hotel), but in the end the combination of price and location won us over.
And let's be honest - this is not a hotel you will stay in because of its style. You will stay there cause it's cheap and close to where you're going and it will do its job and offer you a comfortable place to sleep if that's all you need.

No instructions from the staff. At all.
When I checked in and headed to my bed I saw my bed with the dirty sheets from the previous person. Previous girl hasn't taken off the sheets and just left it there. The staff hasn't made sure that my bed is clean as well. So know that when you check in, no one cleans your bed after the other person!!! No one told to this girl that you should take off the sheets and leave them on the first floor of the building in the special place. No one told me this as well when I checked in. I just saw it on my own, the box for dirty sheets. Why staff isn't bothered by giving the clear instructions? They haven't even showed me where I should go to find my room! This is a big building!
Second floor of the beds is very uncomfortable. It's hard to get there without disturbing other people. Personal lockers are located under the first floor of the bed, so if you need to wake up early and take your things you'll need to disturb the person on the first floor. They will no be able to sleep because you're using your locker, which is right next to them.

The rooms are a mess. I had a dirty band aid sticking to my mattress and the bathroom was extremely dirty. The table is broken and moves around all the time and the build in charging spot inside the beds don't work, as well as the lighting. Also no closet, only weird boxes underneath the bed. If you open them you wake everyone up. The rooms are extremely hot, you sweat the whole time you are in there. The service is very chaotic. They don't give you any instructions and they let you wait for at least 10 minutes in front of the bar, even tho they stand right there. Also no stores nearby, except you want to walk for 20 minutes in heat.

The best hostel in Berlin! Great rooms, lovely staff, delicious food, nice location, good cleanliness, very organized, amazing terrace/back yard, fare prices, spacious parking lot, wonderful lobby to hang out at, nice events (karaoke, live music, stand up comedy etc). The breakfast is really good with many options and the bar also offers a bunch of food. But a big shout out to the lovely staff. Good job guys!

I recommend the private rooms only for couples.
The rooms were actually, very, very small. We booked two single beds for a reason but the room was so tiny that we couldn’t even separate the beds leaving us in an uncomfortable position… the bathroom was also extremely small that getting dressed wouldn’t be possible.
Other than that, everything was great. Thank you.

Great place. Does what it says on the tin. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Rooms have the basics you need. Great communal space with 24 hour bar, coffee, places to work and relax. Great value for money would recommend.
