Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Hotel Mitte in Berlin

Great location but very old hotel. No air conditions and vantilators in the room. They also lock the doors of the hotel after midnite and you need to ring the bell and wake the staff up so that they can unloxk the door and let you in. Come on!
For 1 nite if you dont have ANY alternative, yes you can opt in this hotel as it is very central.

We stayed at this hotel a week ago. The breakfast experience was not good at all. We came to the restaurant for breakfast at 09:35, they were out of omelet and bacon already. The remaining breakfast menu were only some bread cheese and cereal and tea and coffee.

When we asked them whether we could have omelet and bacon again, they said no because the kitchen is closed while we were seeing them playing around at the kitchen.

We paid for €138 for a night only and ended up not having breakfast. We have never experienced this kind of treatment before. My friend coming with me working at a hotel too as a chef so we know the kitchen drill and how the guest should be treated. We even came like 30 mins before the breakfast time ended. So it was unbelievable.

To pay that much of money for a night and had that kind of experience is a no no.
