Couple nights in Berlin
Great clean new odourless hotel with good access around the town. Park, pubs and stores nearby

Stayed there regularly very funky place. Good service, quirky rooms.
Try get a room that's not in front of the lift as that can be noisy when loud parties say bye before heading to their rooms

Property and staff were extremely kind and helpful in every way. I had some issues in my room with my mattress and ALOT of dust from my bed but outside of that it was wonderful.

Very nice clean hotel with great facilities and comfortable bed, wish I had stayed longer than 1 night. Reception and bar staff were very friendly. The walk from the S Bahn/U bahn stations takes about 10 minutes under some old disused railway bridges that used to carry the line from the old Anhalter Bahnhof, the pavement is narrow in places and you have the added hazard of cycles on the pavement. Also there were homeless people on the S bahn station. However Berlin still feels like a safe city compared to Paris/Rome/Barcelona etc. From a previous visit to Berlin the nearby Deutsches Technik Museum is well worth a visit

So clean and modern.
The Victoria park is just 2 blocks away for a nice walk or running. There are TONs of restaurants highly rated. Feels very international, young, vibrant, and comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at the Ginn Hotel City Berlin. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the city. But what stood out the most was the incredible staff — everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making my stay extra enjoyable. I truly felt well taken care of from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a memorable stay in Berlin!

The hotel was clean, nice updated and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. So no complaints about the hotel itself. The surrounding area, however, left something to be desired. There was a great deal of graffiti, and not the pretty artistic kind, and it was a 10 minute walk to both nearby UBahn stations. There were very few eateries within close walking distance for someone who was tired from having been sightseeing all day. Many businesses in the immediate area were closed or seemed abandoned. All that lent to a less than positive feeling for a solo traveling female.

A few things to clarify through this review.

Yes - the rooms have air-conditioning. No you can't manually change the temperature. This is set by the hotel and is quite warm (23.5-24.5c while we were there).

The hotel is firmly a 3-4 star. The rooms are nicely sized, and on upper floors are quiet, but there's a few things missing that you'd expect from a four star. Basic amenities - coffee machine, ironing board and iron, a duvet that covers the whole bed (and not each individual).

There is a rooftop area. However, there's no bar or music, or anything really. Just a very basic rooftop sitting area.

On the whole, a great location, good staff, and relatively nice hotel rooms. I'd not call it luxurious, deluxe or particularly great. It's fine, just fine. Probably wouldn't stay again.
