NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse

The hotel is ideally situated in the Friedrichstrasse area, and the station is right outside the hotel from where you can get direct routes to the airport its only 4 stops. The staff where helpful and friendly and specifically the ones in the downstairs bar (Regina, Amelie and Gerard) – where we cashed in our 10 Euro voucher due to foregoing housecleaning for a day. They made a real effort to provide the options available to us and helped make a lovely fruit juice.

I stayed in a twin room XL and had some initial issues about 2 separate beds, but eventually persevered and managed to get it. I don’t believe the hotel has many rooms with 2 single beds. Our room was very big and we had a lot of space to move around with no concerns about bumping into each other’s luggage’s.

The windows were large and can be fully opened. There was a note on the heater about not touching it as it would turn on automatically. Bathroom was large as well with the expected amenities from a hotel of this calibre.

The safe operated by using a credit card which was not working properly during our stay.

The breakfast area was very large and can accommodate a lot of people. The options were fantastic with plenty to choose from for both meat eaters and veggies.

I had a great stay at this perfectly located hotel and the room met all my expectations.

The hotel is very centrally located. When we arrived we thought that it would be so noisy but due to the windows you don’t hear a sound! This hotel finds so many ways to make your stay very comfortable. The staff are incredibly attentive and accommodating. The whole process is so easy. Will definitely return. Price competitive too!!

This hotel could be much better with a few small adjustments.
The lighting in the room is not very good, especially bedside. A further light was supplied after a couple of days but it was not much of an improvement. The room telephone did not work meaning that reception could not be contacted easily. It was pointed out but nothing was done about it. It has a great location right beside Friedrichstrasser station giving great transport options. Easy walking distance to Under den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate and the River Spree. There are also numerous restaurants and bars in the area.

We were happy to be back and had two successful events this week. The location is perfect, well connected and central. Service was great, right from the beginning at the planning status but also during the event from banqueting team, restaurant and bar staff. Food was delicious and nicely presented. No complaints and we can for sure recommend the hotel!

I stayed one night at this hotel and had a straightforward check-in experience. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy, equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from the train station. I highly recommend it.

Good hotel with everything you need. Close to S U tram, inter junction to many public lines. The bed is incredible comfortable, with three pillows. I love its bedsheet and comforter, soft to the skin.

We enjoyed our family vacation here in Berlin in July 2024. We stayed three nights , then headed to Prague.
I think it's best to rank the hotel according to what I feel is important, so here goes:
Air conditioning: 3/10. (Worked, but didn't get cold enough, according to our liking.)
Bed: 7/10 (Comfortable enough, but nothing outstanding.)
Coffee: 10/10 (Nespresso coffee maker, with regular and decaf, was great. Front desk gave me more coffee when we needed it. )
Breakfast: 10/10 (Breakfast buffet was outstanding... probably the best single thing about the hotel...with person to make omelettes as well. Coffee there was great, too.)
Location: 10/10 (Located near many sites we wanted to see, plus train station was right across the street, and it was a breeze to get from the airport to the hotel.)
Shower: 10/10: (Excellent shower and bathroom, plus amenities.)
Room itself: 4/10 (Nothing special, wood-type floors (no carpet), fridge didn't get cold enough (seemed to be barely above room temp). It did have a huge glass wall & balcony, which was cool, but our inside room didn't have a good view. Electric blinds to cover the entire glass was great to have, and worked flawlessly.
Front Desk: 10/10 (Everyone was nice and helpful.)

The central location of this modern, well-maintained hotel makes it ideal for exploring Berlin. Friedrichstrasse station is next to it and both the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island are within easy walking distance. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet made an excellent impression thanks to lots of choices.

Very close to public transport like Sban - right next to a big station.

The rooms on floor 8 each have a spacious personal balcony.
The breakfast is what you would expect, I liked the mini-bretzels and the alcohol free margarita was a nice touch.

The breakfast hall has a very high glass ceiling, which is very pretty and spacious!

The bed mattress is very comfy. Minibar well stocked, excellent room service as well

Staff are friendly and helpful!
Overall very good bang for the buck.
