For a two night stay on a free weekend, this was exactly as expected. It is a moderate cost hotel with all things presented functional and clean. The location is within walking distance of the major sites in Berlin. Ratings are always difficult ... do we rate in comparison of what was expected or in comparison of the best hotels? I have chosen the latter. The rooms intentionally lacked may simple things like a coffee maker or electric hot water heater. The bed was functional but not comfortable, and the window would not open for fresh air. There was no fitness center to which the front desk staff rightly pointed out there are my close by and most people just walk around the city. Overall I would stay here again.

This hotel is located near the station. Breakfast served here was awesome. One can take the Berlin city tour from just a walkable distance.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint the unacceptable treatment I received during my visit to your intercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof, located at Katharina- Paulus-Straße 5, 10557 Berlin, in the early hours of 18th September 2024, following my arrival after a business trip.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I politely inquired if there was a room available for a short one-night stay. To my disappointment, the receptionist responded dismissively, stating that although there were three available rooms, he needed to reserve them for more "important" clients and couldn't be sure if more guests would arrive. When I questioned this reasoning, I was further instructed to find another hotel in the central Berlin, approximately 15 minutes away, and was even advised to take the metro to get there.
I am deeply troubled by this unprofessional conduct, particularly at a hotel of your supposed 4-star calibre. It is astonishing that a member of staff could make arbitrary decisions on who is permitted to stay without any attempt to fully assess the situation, all while insinuating that I may not be able to afford the room. This is ridiculous!!!
This experience reflects poorly on the quality of customer service I expected from your establishment, and I feel compelled to consider escalating this matter to ensure that future guests are not subjected to such treatment. The inconsistency, coupled with the discriminatory tone of the interaction, was wholly unacceptable and unprofessional.
As a Portuguese citizen, I firmly believe that respect and equal treatment are fundamental rights, and discrimination of any kind is a serious offence. I trust that you will take this matter seriously, investigate the incident thoroughly, and take appropriate action to prevent such occurrences in the future.

They left broken glass(really sharp) lamp and my mother tried to turn on and cut her thumb bad. She got blood a lot and we wasted so much energy and time. When we tried to ask to receptionists for first aid they didn‘t look ready but only one guy tried to help us and some receptionists laughed.(I don‘t know what was so funny). When we checked out the lady who laughed so hard before asked me how was the stay. I said my mother got hurt and the receptionist said ok… ok? What does it even mean??

Great location. Close to all public transport (train, bus and tram) as well as Taxi's. The Cube building is close by as well with really good food. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. If you sign up for their rewards program then reception will give you a free travel pass for all public transport during your stay.

Great location - close to the main station. Staff helpfull and friendly. Room a decent size. Good breakfast - help yourself. Negatives: no kettle, had to ask for more pillows. No USB charge points for phone, had to use charger and adapter. Beds a bit low.

Modern hotel in a great location, right next to the central station. Friendly 24hr service at reception.
Rooms are fairly minimal but bed was comfy and bathroom was clean and modern. Saw a little earwig-type bug 🪲 at one point but it wasn't really an issue.
Decent breakfast but wish the cooked options would vary a bit, rather than only having the choice of eggs/bacon/mushroom/hash browns the entire week. Also wish they would replace the pastries more often -- after about 8.30 they're completely gone despite breakfast being until 10. Other than that, breakfast was generally well provided for with lots of space to sit.

10/10 for me. The service was kind and fast, the room was spacious, very clean, you hear no noise from the inside. Slept like a baby as well. I'd recommend it for business and leisure, as it's very close to the main station and at a walkable distance from Reichstag.

Very nice hotel just next to the main railway station (but the room was very quiet). Room was very clean and staff was super nice. There was also a possibility to leave the luggage after we checked out (we still had a few hours to the train). I recommend this hotel

Good hotel with comfortable rooms. Room was quiet and modern and did not hear any train noises. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of foods and drinks. The shower sporadically went from warm water to hot water without turning the knob (#104).
