Let’s start with the positives with the hotel. It’s cheap and cheerful and is 5 minutes from Berlin Hauptbahnhof train station. You can walk to most of the main Berlin attractions with plenty of eateries along the way.
The negatives, the hotel is basic as it comes. The rooms are small and the cleanliness suspect. I have stayed there 3 times and I’ve had to report an issue each time.
The first time, the hotel took 3 payments off my credit card and despite numerous emails via their website, I received no response and had to wait a week for them to naturally resolve.
The second time the room had foot prints on the floor, no tissue in the toilet and the air conditioning controller was falling off the wall.
The last visit, the air conditioning didn’t work, as well as the hairdryer. There was no spare pillows and I was given them by the reception staff to take up to my room. The room is not attended too daily and I again was made to take towels up to my room via the reception staff.
The reception staff are professional and friendly enough though I felt the elder gentleman was curt.
So in conclusion, will I stay there again, yes. It’s more the Stockholm syndrome and the convenience of the train station that allows me to over look the above.

Check-In - very slow, all online check-in terminals were out of office. Same welcome story to all new guests. I was there 2 weeks ago and mentioned this and didn’t need the whole welcome story again. But this was simply ignored.
Rooms - feels not like a 4 star hotel. Can not describe it better but have seen better rooms which have ‚only‘ 3 star.
Hotline - this is really catastrophic and 0 stars. 3 times for 10-15 minutes I tried to get an answer regarding my invoices. Only the last call was successful. This is not worth to be called hotline. Btw, the booking hotline is available after 30 seconds.
This is not an issue of the employee trying to help customers. This is a management topic where managers save on the wrong sides on the support chain. The demand is much higher as the few colleagues who are there and able to handle.

Horribly expensive luggage storage.
Even though we are staying in hotel for the night, need to pay for 2.9 euros for an hour for 1 checked baggage to be stored. The storage is not enough to store 2 checked baggages.
Imagine if you have two luggages for 3 hours it is 18 euros already.
First time that a 3-4 star hotels overcharging for a luggage storage to a customer who is actually going to check in for the day.
Please avoid at all cost as hotel might be cheap but luggage storage fee is going to make it similar price to hotels that are better with no luggage storage fee.
Trip.com hotel listing states luggage storage but it was horribly expensive luggage storage. Should state there that it is not free.

The hotel building is new and attractive. My fifth-floor room had a nice view of the city and the railway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The location is also very good, with the central station only a five-minute walk away.

I stayed from Saturday to Sunday for a regular trip. The location is excellent right in the city and very convenient for exploring.
The room was quiet and comfortable, with great soundproofing that kept the city noise out. The shower was also very good, with strong water pressure and consistent temperature.
The only drawback was the lack of a kettle and cups in the room. Hot water was available at reception, but having these in the room would have been more convenient.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay for a short trip. Great location and comfortable rooms, just missing a few small touches.

The hotel initially did not give us the room type we requested for, but we managed to change it the next day. The hotel breakfast was well organised. the rooms were clean and had enough space to stay comfortably.

The only problem was that the floor had not been swept or cleaned. Dirt and crumbs. But the location was everything… it looked clean to be a hotel near the airport. Very convenient.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past and usually had good experiences. Unfortunately, this last visit was very disappointing—mainly due to the conduct of the receptionist, Mr. H (an older gentleman at the front desk).
He was noticeably rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. When my key card didn’t work, his only response was a careless “oops”—no apology. His overall attitude, especially toward foreign guests, felt cold and unwelcoming. Staff like Mr. H play a key role in shaping the guest experience, and unfortunately, his behavior left a very negative impression.
To make matters worse, I had booked a room with a queen bed and was given a twin room instead.
I paid to stay at this hotel—it’s not a free charity. The least I expect is respectful, professional service. Based on this visit, I’ve lost confidence in this hotel and won’t be returning.
