Great hotel. In the heart of everything, short walks to all the landmarks, which is massively convenient. We ate in the Tapas restaurant and the food was really good and waiting staff attentive. Front desk answer all questions. We did have access to the Level lounge, which is good however they wouldn't let you take the drinks to your room, which I just thought defeated the purpose of the upgrade, after a day of walking around the sites it is nice just to relax with a beer in your room. Room was really good, we had a view of the river and bridge, area is quite noisy at night though, always an emergency service siren blaring or taxi papping horns. Windows do open. Air con in the room needs clear instruction, most nights we woke up sweltering despite turning it off. Breakfast was included and really high quality, they have an omelette/eggs station, and pretty much everything else you can want. Breakfast area is a little snug, but the staff again are very attentive. Would recommend.

I’ll start with the reason you should book here, the location is absolutely perfect. Your close to the major landmarks and public transport is literally outside. The rooms are just “fine” the beds too firm pillows are useless and the single duvet they give you is fit for a child. The hotel’s spotless which is always a plus.

The tapas restaurant is extortionately overpriced and food wasn’t any good either . A solid 3/5 experience and if you get a good deal on room rates feel free to book here!

Absolutely amazing. Ideal location, beautiful spacious room, comfortable bed, heated floor in the bathroom and most importantly, 24/7 sauna, with a lounge area, towels, water, showers, lockers. Perfect for a nice relaxing evening after a cold winter day.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Berlin within walking distance of all the main sights. Transport connections couldn't be better just 4 stops by train from the airport. Rooms are well appointed with comfy beds and the restaurant is outstanding offering delicious tapas and tasty wines in a beautiful design and with very friendly and professional service. Spotlessly clean.

This hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city. My Deluxe room with a Spree River view was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great variety. I loved dining at the hotel's restaurant with its stunning views of the bridge and city. While the tram vibrations at night were noticeable, they didn't significantly impact my overall enjoyable stay.

*The iron provided by the hotel destroyed my lovely dress*

I stayed at Melia Hotel until the end of July 2024.
I asked for an iron, and unfortunately, the iron destroyed my lovely dress, a gift from my beloved mother.
The iron offered by the hotel is of low quality and does not have a cooling system.
The iron overheats too much, which is dangerous, and no hazard risk label was attached or provided to me.
To add that, no one warned me about it, even verbally.
The hotel iron is not just a discomfort. It's a potential hazard that could lead to serious safety issues.
The hotel-provided iron should have more functions and should be of excellent quality. (4 star hotel).

As someone who has often ironed that dress, I can confidently say that the current iron provided by the hotel is not up to par.

Moreover, if the iron is getting heath, it damages guests' dresses (as in my case) and can be very risky for their health.
Therefore, it is risky from a health and safety perspective.

For a layover, I booked a room with its special "The Level" access, hoping I could catch a few relaxing snacks and a drink at my late arrival. With no success, I tried to find out on their website till when this fabulous "Level" is open and booked anyway in the hope this would still work.
As I arrived, I had to discover the Level is only open till 21:00. As I had to leave the next morning, paying the significant extra money for the Level access was absolutely wasted. And I had to go hungry on top of that. Frontdesk suggested I find a kebab place. Not exactly what I expected from such a hotel.

My family and I went on a trip to Berlin, and decided to stay in the Melina Hotel. We had booked the Business package, which included premium rooms in the higher floors of the hotel. In reality, we received standard rooms in the lower floors. The front desk service was unacceptable because they charged us twice for the city tax. Additionally, we were charged for breakfast that we didn't eat. Overall, the rooms were not bad, however, the service was not up to par with the hotel standards.

Superb location for exploring Berlin. Spacious rooms and friendly service. An excellent range of breakfast items - anything you can think of is there!

We stayed here three night and by far its best quality was its location. Just a small walk to the metro or a number of tourist attractions. We walked to the Brandenburg gate, the Berlin Wall, and a ton of museums. It seemed like it was a 20 minute walk wherever you want to go. The rooms were definitely nice and the bed was huge. The mini bar is not good if that’s your thing. There were definitely people smoking on our floor so not sure if there are smoking floors (we were on 3). The room was spacious and had plenty of closet and bathroom space though the shower only has a half door so I was afraid of spraying water everywhere. The biggest problem is I’m allergic to something in the room, maybe feathers in the comforter maybe something in the shower gel but I came away with quite the rash. Kinda sucks but it’s not their fault - I believe it’s the feathers so if you are allergic see if you can get a down alternative (I could not). Checking in was a little painful but checking out was easy. They have a lounge on 7 called the level but you have to upgrade your room to get it. Your room key card will say Level on it if you have access. Anyway, but for the rash I’d stay there again despite its expense.
