Hotel Schöneberg

Got a room for 115€ on a busy weekend spontaneously - absolutely can't complain - the fridge was filled with drinks that you could pay for later if you take them - there was TV, a clean shower, Wlan and a comfy bed - everything I needed to recharge after a stressful week - can very much recommend and would visit again 5/5

Overall a great stay and very polite staff except for one older German lady on my checkout. Even though I have agreed a slightly later checkout, when I went to hand my keys, they receptionist showed with her facial expression she was not happy (and very surprised), and she mentioned '' for future you must checkout on time''. I was told the day before that a note will be left for my room.

Overall a great location and rooms can be very warm with adjustable heating and all other staff was ok. It is very close to loads of food places, so I didn't use the small breakfast.

I stay in this hotel since 2005. Almost 20 years. Love it!

Quite a nice hotel, though we were the youngest there. Our room was quite hot though, and the breakfast was quite nice

I was very happy with my stay here!! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. I had a budget single room that was small (room rate was more reasonable than anywhere else in the area!) and perfect for one person for a few nights, and it had everything you'd need. Including a few nice, homey touches like a book or two, it also had a mini bar with a few items in it for purchase, glasses, snacks (for purchase), hangers, table/chair, TV, hair dryer, makeup mirror, etc. Free Internet in the room, too.
- While there is no breakfast buffet included, they did offer a little bit for breakfast in the restaurant area - müsli, fruit, coffee, tea. In the restaurant area is also a hotel bar.
- The staff was pretty friendly and helpful; they let me leave a bag at the reception after check-out and also let me stay in the restaurant area for a few hours after check-out until I needed to leave Berlin. The staff was also flexible about check-in time and responded to any emails promptly; good communication.
- The hotel is situated in a nice old building, the style of which reflects this as well (older and traditional, but clean and maintained). As is common with older buildings, they are not very soundproof as far as people walking in the hallway, but no noise from adjacent rooms bothered me. I also didn't hear any street noise, although there are tons of ships and cafés in the area, another plus! Paid parking is available (reservations necessary) for 15€/night, but there is also a bus stop a few steps away as well as an S-Bahn stop a few minutes away. Safe area.
- There is an elevator after going up a few steps from the main entrance, and a doorbell for arrival. Your key allows you access to the hotel at any hour of the night.
Would stay here again if I'm in the area! 😃

It was a good experience overall. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms renovated, bed and pillows are good quality and they have complimentary coffee and snacks in the morning. The rooms are old fashioned, but I feel it's part of the charm if you are into it, I guess. I would book it again if necessary.
