Love The Niu definitely. 🫶🏻 Just one request, teach the evening shift at the reception to work a little faster, 20 minutes per person is a very long time. And thanks to the best receptionist who was at the reception on 9.11 at 7 a.m. I will come back here absolutely🖤

Compared to other inexpensive there is no there is no inexpensive in Berlin for single room under 100 is very good warm and clean that's what you need in Europe hard to find

I've stayed here many times but only because I have to due to my work.
The rooms are fine but overpriced. But clean, tidy and modern although the weird wallpaper bathroom I don't get...
Breakfast is decent enough and teh staff there are pleasant. However, the same can't be said about the reception staff.
Everytime I've stayed here, I receive no greeting but just a surly employee who doesn't say much and doesn't look like they want to be there. As a first impression of a hotel, it's not a good one, and keeps happening again and again. Maybe it's a German thing, maybe it's because I'm English, who knows...
On this latest visit, I went to buy some chocolate and told to pay at the bar. The server was extremely slow and then when I came to pay, he asked card or cash? I live in London so I never have any cash on me now. When I said card, he laughed... the asked if I had cash and I said no. He then got disgruntled at that and said, ore paper, more paper. I mean, a) I wasn't that despaerate for it so was fine to walk away and b) a hotel staff member should not bemaking guets feel bad for paying by their preferred method, especially whe given the choice.
The last tiume I was here, the same barman was inebreated when serving. Not a good look all round.
So overall, not bad but not great and coul do better quite easily with bit more effort.

1 star is generous. Here's why:
- Arrived at the property at 11pm after 7 hours of travelling.
I was told there were no rooms available, despite having a booking, which the hotel confirmed.
- The hotel did not communicate with me that there were no rooms available prior to my arrival. No call, no email.
- It was 11:30pm by this point. Staff offered to book me into an alternative hotel. Staff 'assured' me (after a lot of convincing) that the alternative hotel was 'superior'...
- niu Dwarf is rated 4.4 on Google.
Select Hotel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt (the replacement hotel) is rated 3.9 on Google.

Really nicely designed hotel. The rooms are modern, new, silent and very clean. Young, international, and friendly employees who can speak English well. The location is good to use Sbahn to reach other parts of the city.

The single most hipster place we ever stayed at, with friendly staff and adequate rooms. Located close to public transport and with a lot of nearby eateries so it was a great spot to start your Berlin visit.

A normal hotel with nothing special but quite good in the area.
The two elevators are very crowded, especially between 7.00-9.30AM, the time interval when guests check-out.
The room is quite small with quite modern furniture. The internet connection is stable but not very fast. The door system at the entrance to the room is defective, which causes the door to slam and all the neighbors to be disturbed by the noise.
The simplistic breakfast, relatively varied but plain, nothing special and costs €18.50.
You can park in front of the hotel if you are lucky, otherwise you can park in the basement.
The location is very close to the S-Bahn Schöneberg

Very new and nice hotel only 100 meter to S1 Bahn and M46 bus to city center. Windows Are VERY sound proofe. Free drinks each day you decline room clearing 👍

My partner and I recently stayed at this newly-opened hotel for a week during the new years, and while the hotel itself boasts modern amenities, there are significant areas where improvement is desperately needed.
**Room Service:**
My experience with room service was particularly disappointing. Despite requesting our room to be serviced after five days, the staff's effort was lackluster at best. They only changed the towels and completely overlooked providing clean bed sheets. Moreover, the dirty dishes from our meals were left untouched in our room, creating an unhygienic and unpleasant environment.
**Bedding Discrepancy:**
Another point of contention was the bedding. The hotel advertised a Queen-sized bed, but to our dismay, we found two single beds instead. This not only misled us but also affected our sleep quality significantly. The beds were unstable and kept moving apart, making our nights uncomfortable and restless. It's crucial for a hotel to deliver what it advertises, and in this case, they failed.
**Elevator Issues:**
A notable inconvenience was the broken elevator. This significantly increased the waiting time and caused a lot of frustration among guests. For a new hotel, such technical issues should be addressed promptly to ensure guest comfort.

The hotel is clean and has a good lcoation.
Service is terrible.
Had to cut my stay 1 night short due to a train strike.
So i sent an e mail to ask for a small discount on my stay, or voucher for a future stay, since i paid 3 nights for 2.
They replied to me that i was already checked in.
When i replied that i wasnt checked in when i sent the mail, they did not bother to reply at all.
Service is terrible.
