Where to stay in Dusseldorf

Wasn't that quiet at night, woke up a few times at night just while someone walks up the stairs. But the price and the location are really good.

Good locatio, nothing fancy, decent beds, cold room at first but the radiator worked well and heated it up nicely. Good, very cozy feeling breakfast.

Very nice hotel, 10 min walk frim train station and 15-20 min walk to the old town. Only thing I had a problem with was the low illumination in the hallways and the room. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the keyhole to open tge door.

Only there for one night but absolutely fine.

City centre hotel, staff were very accommodating when we arrived early. Chargeable parking nearby, but none at the hotel. 100m past hotel on the same side of the road is best value parking @€14 (Sep. 24) Rooms clean and comfortable, I like a softer bed and that's exactly what I got. If you want a German beer experience, Schumacher's opposite is a must try.

The appearance looked good. Breakfast was ok. We were not happy with the bathroom.

The hotel is a standard lower end German hotel - it's clean, there is free WiFi and the staff is friendly. Don't expect a modern interior or special amenities and you're fine

Udoban hotel, cist, ljubazno osoblje, dobra veza za centar, super prodavnice u blizini. Ne menjam hotel. Comfortable hotel, clean, friendly staff, good connection to the center, great shops nearby. I do not change my hotel.

Good basic hotel. Paid parking is available nearby. Street parking may be available. The rooms facing the front street will contend with the street train/trolley going by at all hours of the night. No bells ring on the train, but there is the rattle of the train.

Very basic hotel but very cheap compared to the other hotels. Only a 5 min drive with public transport to the city centre

Very good price-performance ratio. The room was very spacious and quiet. Central location and ease of handling at arrival and departure.

Had a great stay at Hotel Aleksandra. The room was just right for me as a solo traveller and the price was very reasonable for this area. Breakfast was included which was very basic but was at least something to start the morning off with. You can get free coffee or tea from the front desk all day which is an added bonus! I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Düsseldorf.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, personal very nice and helpful, breakfast small but absolutely ok. I by mistake almost ran into their kitchen and didn't get yelled at. That was nice :)

Great value for money booked a single room and due to availability I got a double bed without even asking. Comfortable room, breakfast is a bit basic but sufficient. Good place to come back to whenever I have things to do in Düsseldorf

It's okay. For a budget hotel you'll get a nice but small room and 1 towel (rest you need to pick up from the lobby). There's no breakfast (at least I didn't see it). It's quite close to the city center but overall there must be better places to stay in the same budget or slightly more.

Stayed in beautifully quiet and cosy Bungalow at the back of the hotel. Amazing rain shower as well as a hand held shower and a bath also with a shower attachment. Excellent treatment in several languages. Good breakfasts, very clean and very close to the center walking or by public transport and accessible price to all. Recommended.

Convenient transportation, it is the terminal of U76, and it is very convenient to transfer to the main station! Hotel was fine as always. Unfortunately the room smelled a bit of smoke and the door between the rooms and the elevator slammed too loudly. Otherwise everything was fine.

The attitude of the service staff is OK. It is also suitable for short trips. The facilities are relatively old, but the transportation is very convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. It is suitable for business trips, and there is a light rail at the door.

Location and service very good. The room was also exceptionally clean!! However, the hotel is "aging", i.e. unmodern, old-fashioned and outdated. Furniture rustic and dark brown. Tiny shower in which you can hardly turn around. Toilet cramped. Tiny room with small mini-TV and choppy picture.

Lift wasn't working correctly, since door not shutting on ground level, I waited 5 mins on the 4th floor and them walked down (with a bad ankle). The lift thing happened twice.

This small family run hotel is located in a quiet area in Dusseldorf. It is maybe 10 min taxi drive to old town, we did not try the public transportation but saw stops closeby the hotel. Rooms are pretty small but clean and there is everything you need for a short stay. You can open the windows and there is aircon as well. Best part was the breakfast. I was apprehensive about the hotel as it was a very small one but after arriving my impression changed. Not because it was bigger than expected but because of the service. All the staff were quite courteous and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, and the menu was quite big. A very good deal at the price paid.

Good value, clean, very well managed hotel. Staff was very helpful, friendly and flexible (about our late check out). Hotel is about a 15 min walk south of Old Town, on a quiet street, and only a few blocks from 2 or 3 metro stops. We would stay there again.

I had not visited the B-Hotel (formerly Astoria Hotel) since 2019. It was refurbished and upgraded in the meantime. It is a highly functional venue, equipped with all essential facilities and services. Most importantly, the owner and manager, Mario Beckemeyer is always available to lend a hand whatever the needs or the requirements. Hard to find a better choice in Düsseldorf. Highly recommended

The best value for the money in this city. Not the cheapest one, but it has very nice, cozy, warm, stylish and what not rooms. The staff is there only until midday, afterwards they're available by phone. Room service, spare towels, toiletries, hair dryer, modern smart tv (supporting screen casting from a phone or pc, for example) etc. Just awesome! I wish we could stay here for years 🙂

Newly renovated hotel in a very quiet but centrally located street. Everything from cleanliness to front desk service was impeccable. As an experienced traveler I would say this hotel is an ultimate place to stay in Düsseldorf.

The hotel was recently renovated so everything is new, location is good and the owner is nice. There was a list of recommended places for breakfast in the elevator which I found a nice gesture. I'd come back.

Hotel itself fine. The beds/mattresses were soft. You sank into it. I personally prefer harder mattresses. Breakfast excellent, with lots of choice. Everything was well replenished.

Stayed for 1 night and it was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Only thing to note is there was no fan or aircon in the room so if its a hotel day you will need to keep the windows open.

My first impression in this hotel was so good. So clean and organized. I liked the breakfast. You should get your room with the breakfast for sure. Some staff are not fluent in English though.

The Hotel has a modern interior, nice staff. Everything is clean and the food was good.

It's mainly a sports facility. Room is large. Gym is convenient but don't excpect a lot of the amenities if you're on holiday

The bathroom was clean and so was the bedding. The front desk staff were helpful and speak English well. The view out the bedroom window was a bland backyard with a lawn that needed mowing. The dinner and available drink options were underwhelming, but it fills the spot when one is hungry and tired after an entire day of flights and airport waits. The main advantage is the location - just off a highway...

It is not a 5 star hotel but the service and the kindness of the crew were perfect. It had my dinners there and food was very delicious and affordable. Rooms are clean and prices are affordable. The crew is international I would like to special thanks to front desk crew. I lost my laptop and they helped me like their laptop was lost and they were polite always.

Very good value for money. I love the double door for noise insulation also the windows have a great noise insulation. Rooms are fairly clean, the bathroom is very nicely renovated and very modern. For me it was also the small details like the curtain closing off daylight even to the side that really made me enjoy this room. Only little downside is that due to covid they don’t have water cookers on...

Price/quality well belanced, nice and friendly personnel that speaks German but also perfect English. Airconditioning in the room works as it should and you can keep it running while you are away so you come back to a nice cooled room. Enough parking space outside and, due to Covid, there is a possibilty to get breakfast to go in the morning. Do recommend this hotel when you are in the neighbourhood

Located in the Japanese district 10 min walk from the station and 10 min from the very convenient center. Rhythmic gymnastics team arrived for a competition on Friday. We occupy the hotel for two nights. There are 14 of us and they offer us 2 rooms in the hotel and 5 rooms on the ground floor (motel type). Good breakfast at 13 euros per person, both sweet and savory with renewal of products as soon as they run out.

It was a nice hotel, inexpensive, and easily accessible to the city. It was clean, too, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!
