The hotel was good overall. Clean rooms and decent service.

I arrived a lot earlier than the check-in time and anyway they managed to accommodate me and gave me even a free upgrade of my room which was great and highly appreciated because I was travelling through the whole evening !

Very friendly and nice. I would like to stay here again next time I come to Dusseldorf. I think the average price was between 60 and 80 euros per day. There are delicious Korean and Japanese restaurants nearby, so it is convenient in many ways. It is about a 5-minute walk to Dusseldorf Central Station, so it is very good for those who will be using the train.

Very nice service, my room was very clean and offered free tea, coffee, had clean towels, soap. WiFi works really well, and the bed is very comfortable. Plus you get a free soft drink if you don't require room cleaning services for the duration of your stay.

Hotel Astra was a cheap and convenient hotel for my needs for a weekend following euro 2024. It’s about 2 miles from Dusseldorf train station when walking. Plenty of other transport available.

The good: - Very clean. - Next to a chain grocery store. The bad: - They say reception is open 24/7 on their website but they close at 10 or even 9 pm. We got here during the messe for the plastic industry. I have to say that is an average hotel with a superb team of employees that transform your experience into a five stars rating hotel. very good, old fashion school hotel. yet, all the facilities have been upgraded to meet today's regulatory requirements. I enjoyed water based heating radiators in the room. Many other hotels these days opted to install efficient ventilation systems that blow a dry hot air. The old heating system is much better if compared with that one of this new technology. It makes a guest feel home.
