Very nice building, sort of small rooms but very clean and cozy ones.
My room was in the 19th floor and you get the chance to have an awesome view of the city, though it'd be better if you could get a view of the lake nearby.
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and I'll definitely try it in my next trips.

The rooms are a bit small, but good value for money. However, the staff during breakfast were very rude, allowing entry to breakfast as if interrogating guests. I would not choose this hotel again. 10 out of 10 for the reception staff.

Room is clean and nice according to pictures but very small. The breakfast was ok, coffee too, coming from a machine with different varieties. I do like the breakfast and surrounding area. Looks nice in the evening as well, but we didn’t spend any time there.

Unfortunately from my experience this hotel deserves one of five, I have offered by DB- train company in Germany papper to be one night in this hotel because of train delays during night. Me and my wife have been offerd small standard one person room like cage in level 1, The air conditioner did not work، and the bed was really small for two persons me and my wife, we were very tired otherwise we would complain. I am sad.

Okay for a night if you're in the city for business. The bar is pretty decent, so is breakfast. Parking is easy and plentiful, if a bit expensive.

The rooms are very small and barebones, but serviceable overall.

This was our second visit to this hotel and all the team are a credit to the brand. Everyone was so helpful and caring. The hotel is clean and tidy, some of the rooms are a little on the cosy side and more suited to single occupancy. This chain offer reliable and consistent quality. The breakfast service can sometimes be overcrowded so plan to eat later rather than early if possible. There are an abundance of restaurants within a five minute from the hotel. The local underground stop is outside the door. Hamburg HbF is max 10 minute walk from door.

This hotel is huge and clean. The desk people are friendly and helpful. The hotel parking works well for me. My room is not very spacious but it’s okay for my one night in Hamburg. At the bar I order a well chilled and taste Riesling. It’s served with a smile.

You know what you’re going to get with a Motel One. Clean, spacious room. Basic but fine. Hamburg Alster was typical of a Motel One. Staff were okay but not particularly friendly. Breakfast was ridiculously busy. Great location in St Georg. Recommend walking down to Lange Reihe for coffee/ snacks. Nice vibe and some nice eateries and shops. Then very close to the Alster for a walk along the lake.

This hotel is a great location being very near to central station ( 5-10 minute walk) and local underground station (2minutes}. The welcome you get at Motel One is the great feature of this chain who always have a great team serving their customers. The Hotel standards are consistent throughout this group and a credit to the management team. The breakfast is good, if a little on the expensive side but that does not put us off.

Walls in the room smeared with paint. On the window side, there is no shelf for the bed. The bathroom is very small, so if you're not careful, you end up standing in the toilet when you get out of the shower.
What I like is that the hotel has 19 floors.
Friendly reception staff. They make an excellent effort. I was more than pleasantly surprised.
