Motel One Munchen-Campus

You absolutely can find better accomodation at a lower price. For what you pay, the rooms are small and basic (a squeeze for 2 people, no fridge, basic amenities). Breakfast is basic (Continental only). However, the location provides good public transport connections.

Towels were not changed. We had same breakfast for 8 days. Their coffee was warm and we did not have tea or water in our rooms. The reception staff was very friendly though

I stayed here for an event at Messe Munchen.

They're not very generous with early check-in here. I tried to check in at 2:20pm and was rejected.

The room is clean, on the smaller size, but I was by myself so it was not a big deal. For the room that I got, I'd say it's a little bit tight for 2 people. But I like the efficiency, there's a USB outlet right next to the head of the bed, so I thought that was well designed.

Location: it's close to a tram station that takes you to Karlsplatz and it's also about a 10 min walk to U1 which takes you to the Munich central station, which connects you to the airport. And it's also about 13-15 mins away from a station served by U2 that takes you to Messe Munchen and the main train station as well. The hotel also has some restaurants around, there's a fast food nearby that is open until 4AM.

Overall, I don't see myself staying here again. I booked 5 months ahead and found it to be the most reasonable for my stay, but also found same prices close to the center when I arrived, which is why I thought about cancelling, but it was just a hassle after a long flight.
