Our stay at Schwan Locke was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The entire hotel experience is curated perfectly, with a kitchenette, great hotel gym and self service laundry that is free for guests to use (they even provide washing powder). The location is great too - walking distance to Marienplatz and the Munich Central Station. It is also a short walk to the Oktoberfest site for those travelling around that time.

Great hotel not far from the hauptbahnhoff. The rooms are really good with everything you need at your fingertips. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. Will stay here again for sure.

Very quiet and comfortable. We stayed a week on the top floor, 6. Took daytrips through the main train station and tram … the hosts answered all of our questions! Comfortable bed and large couch.

We really enjoyed our staying. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The only thing that bothered us was the room temperature. At night it was getting hot. I strongly recommend light nightwear!!!

1000/10, seriously. Where do I even begin.
Room (I got the Locke Studio) was SO spacious, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped, with a small kitchen, breakfast nook (with a velvet couch!), and flat-screen TV. Literally everything one could need. I have no idea whatsoever how they can charge so (relatively) little, yet still make a profit. My friends/family were utterly dumbfounded that I paid less than 100 euros a night.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful (and spoke fluent English!).
There's also a good gym downstairs.
Only (minor) caveat was that, while the location is great (10 minutes by public transport to the Mariensplatz, heart of town; super easy), and while this didn't really bother me, the demographics of the neighborhood are predominantly Middle Eastern, not German, nor is the architecture; if you're uncomfortable with that "non-German" experience for whatever reason (or just racist...), you may not love it. But it didn't bother me in the slightest - I've lived in Paris and NYC, and diversity has never caused me any issues.

It was really a wonderful stay at Schwan Locke for four nights !!!! Beautiful room, nicest stuff, very comfortable bed. I love the whole interior design so much, and the food and drink at night was really great, we sat in the back yard and enjoyed a great night with friends. Unforgettable!! The egg in the morning was a highlight!!! Stunning experience, next time in Munich I will stay here again for sure

We had a wonderful stay in our studio. The hotel is ideally located near public transportation and business. Our studio was fully equipped and so well decorated it felt being at home. There was a short heat wave during our stay but the room never felt hot (? This is a mystery to me as I saw no air duct in the room). The public areas are equally good especially the gym/fitness that we really enjoyed. Everything else was spotless. Staff was always helpful and smiling. I would definitely go back here for a shorter or longer stay.

We had a great stay at the Locke Hotel. The staff was really very courteous and friendly. An unexpected downgrade of the room was more than satisfactorily made up for us. Especially Zephina has made every effort and we really have nothing to complain about. SchwanLocke is more than recommendable. A fantastic location, close to the center, great furnished rooms, a great bar / cafe area and everything you could need for your stay in Munich!

Really modern design and very classy rooms. The staff is nice and there was a terrace for hanging out.

Unfortunately our stay here really didn't meet my expectations. Firstly, we got locked in the garage after parking our car when we arrived. A key card is required to get back up to reception and no one answered the phone to come and let us out. Not ideal with a 10 month old baby. Eventually another guest came down by chance and we could get out.
Our room wasn't ready even though I had booked early check in, so we had to wait at the reception. Once we did get up to the room, it was a good first impression. Nice decor and clean. However there were several issues. The TV didn't work at all. The drainage in the shower was very slow and the water went right up to the door. This meant the whole bathroom was flooded - there was no shower screen. One of the lamps in the room didn't work and it was too warm overnight with no way to change the temperature. Pretty much all the toiletries in the bathroom were empty too. I like the layout of the rooms and had we not had so many problems I think this would be a good place to stay but sadly, we left feeling very disappointed.
