I travel a lot to Munich for work, and if I am to choose the hotel myself I always choose Living Hotel Prinzessen Elisabeth. The rooms are spacious and cosy, the prices are affordable, the employees are always friendly and service minded and the wellness center is very nice with a very good sauna. It's also practical to have a mini kitchen in the room, and a shop (REWE) next door to the hotel.
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful neighborhood in Munich, with many good restaurants close by (a good one even in the hotel but my favorite is the incredible restaurant Il Piccolo Principe only 150 meters from the hotel) and also cafes (my favorite is Eiscafé Italia only 400 meters from the hotel).
The nearness to the Isar river is also wonderful, both for walking and also if you wanna have a swim in the river.

I love the Hotel, the business apartment are big, comfortable and with all services I need for a long stay. Maybe there were some details to improve. Details about maintenance: lights above the bead and the kitchen didn't work, two shelves are broken in the wardrobe and problems with the heat. I was surprise, in 2023 the rate of the breakfast was 12 euros, and now 24 euros. I guess in two years, the inflation in Germany was not 100%.

I had a wonderful stay at Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth in Munich. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s design has a charming, slightly vintage style that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Great location near the Isar River, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting Munich. The room and facilities were very good.
It is set in a tranquil area about a 30 minute walk from the old town centre.
The staff were very helpful. One member of staff made very good recommendations about local attractions.

The good, the bad and the ugly.
The good: Location is nice. Sauna and wellness area is awesome. REWE supermarket downstairs is very convenient. The bad: Layout of the room is awkward: bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs…not convenient for a 70yo man. Giant window from downstairs to upstairs lets light in day-and-night and there’s nothing you can do about it (I’m used to sleeping in a dark room). Bathroom is ok but shower has only half protective glass and water gets out everywhere. Tub is great but hard to get out and nothing to hold on to.
The ugly: TV is useless—antenna only, and gets very few channels all in German and no English. Bed has thick blanket way too hot and no option of something lighter. AC/heat system is a mystery with-5 and +5 numbers that mean nothing to me.

My colleague and I have just returned from 4 nights here. The hotel is in a great location, quiet and within 20 minutes walking distance to the city centre. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were excellent. Special mention to Gavin and his breakfast team which was excellent.

The location is very good, quiet and green. Not far from the city center, convenient transportation. Many restaurants with very good reviews are within walking distance.

Loved the kitchenette and the location. Only downside was the room was too warm and we couldn’t adjust the heat. We discovered the fan in the closet on the last night and that helped!

Great hotel, very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Wish there were more dining options available close by, especially on Sundays. The bus stops are close by if using ***** transportation.
