The staff treats you as part of the family! The welcoming coffee with milk was amazing! You will likely get entertained by cats and dogs in the lobby. Plus they cooked an early breakfast because I had to leave early to visit the 27 waterfalls. Great experience!

Completely dilapidated, disaster of a hotel. Not fit for animals. Don't even bother.

Friendly place with few cats and small dogs. Nice communal area. Rooms reasonably spacious and clean
Internet supported video call, therefore strong.
Only thing I could a little object is worn bathroom, but it was clean, no bugs, therefore OK with me.

Wonderful place for the price. The owner speaks French but he has many friends around who can help with communication. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner's son when I visited in December 2019 during the Christmas season, so I got a fantastic motorcycle ride at night. They had a small pool and jacuzzi on the roof, a pool table in the lobby, and many rooms of different settings. It was not a standard, regular hotel but the owner has remodeled the rooms since then. It is located right next to the city central park of Puerto Plata, so I walked to the historical streets, waterfront and lighthouse at night and returned safely in the dark. My friends and I were offered breakfast for free, which was of great value to us.
