The beach was amazing, beautiful!!! There were plenty of beach chairs available. One day, our group rented a cabana on the beach. We enjoyed being pampered and having lunch delivered right there to us.
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better first experience of the Dominican Republic. What a beautiful country with beautiful people!

The Italian restaurant, while good, felt like it was in a different resort because of how far the walk was. On the plus side, the grounds were well-maintained, and seaweed wasn’t an issue on the beach. The water was rough in September, but the beach cabanas were a highlight, especially with the excellent service from Juan Davis. Lunch there was always enjoyable.
We tried the Seaside Grille and the Mexican restaurant but didn’t feel the need to return. For the price we paid, we expected a better overall experience. It wasn’t terrible, but it could have been much better.
