Best Hotels in Punta Cana

There is loads to do, entertainment, water park, high ropes, several pools/bars/ice skating and amazing excursions. There are Always sun beds free and no queues for things

Property had many options of restaurants and amenities. The Turquesa section is however towards the front of the resort. There’s no ocean view rooms and not walkable to the beach

The rooms are outdated, the fridge did not keep items cold, although the AC worked well. My family and I did our best to make the most of our stay, but overall, the service and facilities need serious updates

An OK resort Bahia principe was a nice resort, with nice shows for both adults and kids. The downside was their food, both buffet and especially their A la carte. Not much flavour and very salty.

The best part about this property is that it offered different entertainment and activities for all ages. However, the property is old and very outdated. I had to change rooms due to a lack of cleanliness

We upgraded to the Ambar section to be close the beach and had a swim out room. The sales folks know how to sell it

And a special salute to our butlers, Reydisson and Elvyn, who were the best butlers we had in here ever since our first time

The service, room, beach, and drinks were excellent, which I would rate 4. 2/5, and the dinners were outstanding at 4. That said, I have a few suggestions for improvement

The beach team — Yohan, Youhansey, Elvyn, Lorena, Jeffery, Arhensay, and Nury — created a seamless, relaxed experience each day, while Scooby at the pool brought warmth, attentiveness, and an inviting atmosphere

Same goes to Richard and Jose, who work in the Main Pool Bar, are so great! They were the best bartenders I've met here. Orlando, that works in Market, is so caring for our wellbeing

The employees are all so nice, always ready to serve happily- and in here, I have to say: Scooby (Edward) that works in the Sun Pool, is a incredible person, excepcional charisma

Dining was a highlight throughout our stay. Chef Jolanes impressed with exceptional cuisine, and Felix and Davidson provided impeccable service that elevated every meal

Try the french restaurant, good service and great food. Avoid the Rodizio restaurant , poor service , food just ok. Over all is a great hotel but some of the employees need better training .

It was a fantastic stay. Love the service and the attitude of workers there.

I had problems with check-in, I waited 1 hour longer than agreed and they gave me the wrong room, I booked a room and they gave me another and they didn't want to change it.

Was at the adult only section and the food was amazing . The buffet was outstanding and the staff was super helpful

But a very good and not a standard meal plan - there is no common dining room, small buffets - restaurants, they do not prepare in advance, but at the guest's address

There are oddities in this hotel: the car cleans the seaweed on the beach, mixes it with the sand, so it is the dirtiest on the beach line. Old sun loungers need to be changed

No cocktail straws, you have to chew and spit ice

I just don't think they were trained on how to be resourceful or go above-and-beyond. Too bad, because the facility itself really was quite nice. And the country is beautiful, and the people are great

I had the best time with my huge family! Everyone who works at this resort is so wonderful and accommodating! Aniblaisy from the entertainment team turned my trip from a 10/10 to a 100/10! She was so kind to me every time we spoke! She introduced me to do some activities and I had so much fun every time! Also, a shoutout to housekeeping! Not only was my hotel room the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed...

These are hard working men and women who deserved to be recognized! Also the front desk service people did their best to be helpful when needed

The bathroom could be a little better, though. The shower was old and didn't work very well. The buffet is good, I think the food could be a bit more seasoned and more varied, but it was nice enough

This place is absolutely beautiful! This is our third time visiting and there are so many reasons to keep coming back! The beach is perfect, well kept and has so many loungers! The pools are great! We loved their restaurants and the buffet is a convenient and delicious back up for every meal

The hotel has a beautiful environment, beautiful sea water, comfortable beach, golf course, football field, tennis court, basketball court, and many recreational facilities on the sea

The hotel has eleven dining halls, providing different food services

The team is globally very nice. I have to do a special mention to the buffet team, who is very kind, remembers names and take a good care of the guests

Ronin Reyes, Carmen Vasquez and Reynaldo GPS were the best! The went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Food is good, not five stars, not good enough in an hotel of that size

We are currently staying here and we are having an amazing time. Our Master Suite Swim-Up is fabulous. It’s so nice to have my morning meditation right outside my room then enjoy a morning swim

What a great place to be! The room is very nice, the staff members are very friendly, and all the drinks are made to our satisfaction. With limited English, everyone is so eager to help out

Overall amazing stay! Overall everything was excellent with the Unique package and the Unique amenities. The non Unique areas were not kept up properly with trash all around the pool area

Make sure you bring cash, because their ATM machines do not work. The rooms were excellent and spacious. There is lots to do in the resort as well. The staff were wonderful and very kind

Everything was good. Unique is worth the money hands down. One lobster dinner and it pays for the extra.

The beach is stunning and well kept. Buffet breakfast was the best of the three meals and very consistent. Overall, the food quality is good

It’s an extra-large resort with many restaurant options and lots to explore. The cappuccino and crêpe bar was our favorite spot — the best cappuccino on the resort and a perfect place to start and end the day

Some bartenders were fantastic — especially at the Del Mar Beach Café, where service was friendly and fun. This resort is huge so get ready to walk or take the train. Cons Guest service is not very service-oriented

Ordering at the à la carte restaurants was often frustrating — orders were frequently incorrect or not what we requested. Because of this, we eventually opted out of most restaurants and relied more on the buffet

We had several issues with our room, and the response felt minimal rather than proactive. There is a noticeable language barrier with many staff members, which made communication difficult

The agriculture and animal sanctuary is a standout feature — peacocks, swans, turtles, and parrots roaming the grounds make the resort feel unique and special

I have been to more than 40 countries, and this hotel is the most luxurious, well-equipped, and most thoughtful luxury hotel I have ever stayed in. It is only 3-5 minutes away from the beach

The water near the hotel beach is restless, there is a lot of algae, although the staff carefully tries to get rid of them. Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

At the hotel, my pregnant wife and I were held up at the entrance because we couldn't get in until 3 p. , and they made us wait on the street outside the hotel

There were lots of friendly staff and they were very organized. The resort is big with lots to discover yet simple to navigate on the map they gave us upon check-in

The animation is very good, prizes are given for participating in competitions. Friendly, funny and kind animators, I especially liked Keila. Night show is worthy and interesting

I stayed in this hotel back in 2017. The pool is amazing and they keep you entertained with fun activities during the day. The buffet is great and we specially enjoyed the restaurants we could book for no extra cost

People are nice and quick to offer help for anything you need. The perfect size resort, it's big enough but not too big. I personally didn't care for the beef but the rest is good

Wander, Rooftop staff and Juan were amazing, providing excellent service as bartenders and servers. Beautiful landscaping and view on roof top is nice. However, Edwin did not make us feel welcome or valued

We had 24/7 concierge service provided by Jose and Eddie and they both were wonderful and made sure that our stay was beyond excellent. Totally loved all the wellness inclusive activities too

I like everything except the boogie tour, they cancel the tour and dont inform or give us notice about the holiday .when we separate

The attention and service of the staff was amazing want to point that out specially for Cindi that tried to help us. We had issue with the A/C since the day we arrived, it was just like a fan no cool at all

The next day we talked with Cindi and reported the same and she tried to helped us giving us other room but we checked it first and the A/C was the same way

Hotel bathrooms are old, rusty pipes. Shower tub combo is too small. Handrail in bathtub makes it difficult to shower. Toilet flooded then wouldn't flush

We reported it that same day we got there and nothing was done and also the shower was cloged and all the water remained there for a while

The food was not great, the people were not friendly and the room was not clean and things were broken. Would not recommend.

Nothing to complain about! Rooms were upgraded so that was a nice surprise! Food has been very good and people are very nice

That said, there were a few downsides. We noticed ants on the balcony, and both my friend and I had multiple bug bites on our legs, which may have been bed bugs or possibly something from the beach, we couldn’t confirm

The entertainment crew was absolutely amazing and really made the experience. Special shoutout to Juan, Lorena, Frederick, and Ruben, such fun, energetic, and genuinely great people. The bartenders were also fantastic

The food was great as well, with lots of variety, and the resort even had a coffee machine and a barista, which was a huge plus for coffee lovers like myself. The beach was nice, with plenty of seating areas

This was my first time staying at a resort, and while resorts aren’t for everyone, I really enjoyed having a fun, stress-free week with my friend and not having to worry about anything

Another downside was the cost of excursions, most of which were over $100 USD per person. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable vacation with great staff and entertainment

As a result we did not have good night rests. The staff did do their best to accommodate us but no real resolve

My first time in Dom rep. Hotel is great. The staff are excellent. Bar staff are very friendly. David is a great guy, very professional. The pools are beautiful. I would like to come back next year with my family.

So far we have enjoyed our stay very much and the animation team is fabulous. The food is also excellent and very good hospitality. The animation team is professional and very entertaining

We enjoyed this resort and the food selection at the buffet was really good. The paella, seafood and soups were our favourites. My family of three (including a toddler) stayed for 6 nights and no complaints

My family of 33 went to this resort early August, it was gorgeous! Sandy at the front desk is the best. She is so patient and provides amazing customer service. And Pedro the server is amazing as well

The resort was not too busy in September which was nice because we always found a spot on the beach, by the pool, water park and best of all they always had towels

On a positive note, the management was excellent. We were upgraded to a better room after the initial one was not cleaned properly. Alex, the supervisor, was particularly considerate

Leonel was an amazing hotel animator! Always smiling, full of positive energy, and incredibly engaging with guests. He made every activity fun and made everyone feel included

We went there Dec 2024 and forgot to post a review. Here i am to do it now- we had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious in the buffet and in the specialty restaurants as well

The resort grounds were beautiful and well kept, they generously upgraded our room and many of our guests that came as well, the food was good and different each day (snack bar had amazing food and air conditioned) the service at bars and restaurants lacked (extremely slow/no desire to work) but my wedding day was absolutely perfect

Entertainment crew is super friendly and very engaging. Spicy, Maria, Jeffery, yarlis, and myrobi, made are stay great and always kept Us entertained pool side

Great experience at Serenade this week. The food was better than we expected (highly recommend the sushi!), the drinks were good (especially the main bar in the lobby!) the pools were great, and the beach was beautiful

Had some issues with the room that have definitely been issues for more than just our stay, whether the were brought up before and ignored or just over looked, these issues should definitely be resolved asap

Other than that, most staff were very friendly, as a woman i noticed I was treated poorly by some women staff while my husband had no issues at all

Dining: Buffet options were somewhat limited, with a heavy focus on pork and fish. If you don’t eat pork, your choices may feel restricted, and steak or other meat dishes were rare. That said, the food was tasty overall

Beach & Grounds: The beach was stunning, with plenty of shaded areas and loungers. It never felt crowded, and the ground crew was up early each morning cleaning the sargassum, which kept the shoreline pristine

Pool & Entertainment: The pool area was lively, featuring a swim-up bar and daily entertainment. If you want a shaded spot, go early and reserve it with your belongings

This was by far the nicest resort I’ve stayed in in Punta Cana. The facilities, staff, food and accommodations were all excellent. Shout out to Samantha and Carlenis two hostess’s for their daily friendly greeting

The property was gorgeous with plenty of swimming options, activities, and directly on the beach. Beautiful breezes everyday. Service was excellent!! Food was great, especially Portofino.

The pools were excellent and the beach was equally nice, however, there was seaweed covering the beach during that week which limited our use. We would definitely return to this resort

There were a total of seven restaurants; I only ate at the Asian and Italian restaurants, both of which were delicious. The buffet restaurant was also quite good

I have so many, problems with my bedroom, pay too much, money for so little we didn't like it, I have been to another secret, and it was different not good quality, food or liquor?

They are exceptional and friendly. Bar good the bartender and waiter are friendly, great customer services. Great water activities, the beaches and pools

We had a great time, had a room with the swim up pool, the bartender was amazing! Cristina of the team of animation was fantastic! Definitely will be going back! This was a trip to remember, my butler was incredible and arranged everything we needed

Overall, the services and staff here are exceptional, and serve either excellency. I highly recommend this resort for family, couple, single and group vacations

Food is better quality compared to other resorts, but the entertainment here is the best! I went down to the pool area and the guy there named Ruddy is awesome and very friendly! He was very entertaining, and I also had the pleasure of seeing him perform on the nightly shows

Knows how to get the party started and keep the vibe fun. Food is decent, some places better than others, rooms are great (I would add door knobs to the shower/bathroom/patio) but everything else is good
