3 star hotels in Punta Cana

Property had many options of restaurants and amenities. The Turquesa section is however towards the front of the resort. There’s no ocean view rooms and not walkable to the beach. Transportation was nice. We upgraded to the Ambar section to be close the beach and had a swim out room. Of course it cost more. The sales folks know how to sell it.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Bahia Turquesa. I accidentally left my baby’s formula milk at Las Dalias restaurant, and instead of holding it for me, the staff threw it away. An OK resort Bahia principe was a nice resort, with nice shows for both adults and kids. The downside was their food, both buffet and especially their A la carte. Not much flavour and very salty.

The best part about this property is that it offered different entertainment and activities for all ages. However, the property is old and very outdated. I had to change rooms due to a lack of cleanliness. Although the property was big. I would not stay here again.

The staff is amazing, especially the guys at the pool. Special shout outs to Luis at the pool bar and papi Juan (el churasco) from the pool entertainment. They are all the best. The food and the show at night were excellent. I will definitely come back.

The outdoor pools were the best. Always a vibe, live music and activities for kids and for adults. The food in the pool buffet restaurant was average. The Italian and Hibachi speciality restaurant were good. You must make reservations one day in advance for restaurants other than the buffet. Way too many people trying to sell you "adventure packages". Different country be aware laws and "norm" are different here. Do not go into town by yourself. Beaches are "owned" by resorts with 24hr security. We had a great time at this Hotel. The food was fine and the place is what make this Hotel great. I think the service can get better and the only thing i didn't like was that this Hotel doesn't has a disco. You have to travel to another public disco if you want to have this experience, is very peaceful at night. That would be great to you if this is what you are looking for.

Have been here twice, loved it both times looking forward to returning again. Beautiful nature, birds , peacocks, so restful. Staff are diligent in every department. The food was outstanding, fresh fruit, especially the passion fruit, mmmmm. We also booked into the other restaurants on the grounds, simply delightful.

Staff was nice, room was small and extremely dated! Restaurants were "fair". Beach was nice. Overall I would say if you wanted a last minute deal and could get a good price...it's not disappointing. If you are looking for something a bit more than average, consider another resort.

we only stayed one night at this hotel due to issues with our flight home. we had issues with our first room we got took to as it smelt funny and didn’t seem clean. We had an awesome stay at the impressive premium, the food was really good and we had a great view of the beach from our room! Stayed for 7 days. Weather was great. Lot of people complain about the beach.. not sure why? Plenty of beach space to walk around. Serenity If the loud, party atmosphere is not your jam, then Selectum Hacienda is for you. So quiet and serene. The staff is all very professional, kind and accommodating. The breakfast is a true feast. You are steps away from the beach or you can choose to relax poolside. This truly was what we needed.

The property is absolutely breathtaking. The attentiveness of the owners and wonderful staff was exceptional. I cannot thank them enough for making me feel welcome. Samet and his staff were excellent - professional, friendly and responsive. Really loved the beautiful property and comfortable room and the smaller boutique hotel experience. No very attractive apartments but if you are on a budget this is perfect. Close to many attractions and a few minutes away from downtown Punta Cana.

Bella Vida is a small 13 room hotel located about 500m from the beach. View in the area, surroundings, is not that pretty, but area is calm and you will get good sleep. There is no safe, no surveillance cameras, you can save your things as you wish, the safes are faulty, why write that there is a safe in the room if it does not work, it is a scam. The territory is beautiful, the sea is nearby, there is no Internet in the room, you can't even call the police or the reception

Apartahotel Villa Facal is the ideal place to rent for as long as you want. Here you have a furnished apartment, a swimming pool, a good view and the beach just a 7-minute walk away. Spectacular!

Totally neglected, damaged, dirty, old buildings, bad smell... This complex has never been remodeled since its inception, it has old and shabby furniture, as much as you demand the owner turns a blind eye, the mattresses cause skin rashes, impossible to sleep. From my point of view, I would not return or stay in this complex.
