We had a great stay here at the Barcelo Occidental Caribe. The rooms were clean, we were able to get into all of the restaurant which was a great experience. The games were fun, and Valentin put on a good show for the group, with an appreciated variety of languages for the multi-lingual crowd. Looking forward to visiting again when the cold weather hits next year

Place was not bad the room were a cold when you had the fan on and hot without it. The blanket are regular white thin sheet you find in American hotels. A few bugs here and there. Had an amazing time with my kids and family. This place offers everything you need to get away from the rat race. Beach was perfect I love the people that come around selling things. First experience ever in an all inclusive resort and i am very satisfied. We enjoyed a lot the place. Particularly pleased with the food. We had reserve but the buffet was good. Rested for 2 weeks in November. The location of the hotel is good, a beautiful large beach. Several other hotels of the same chain are nearby. Hotel Riu Naiboa is quite old and needs updating. Pretty good for the price. The kitchen is good, there is a sufficient selection of dishes, even for picky tourists. There is also a water park shared by several hotels.

The exterior is nice but the rooms are very old. This was the most uncomfortable mattress. They spray industrial strength bug spray in your room to keep the bugs away just before you inter.
