Impressive - All Inclusive Hotel

First off, the website says the Kids Zone is for ages 3 and up and it is NOT. Don't make the same mistake as me, we booked this specifically for the kids and we were very disappointed. Very disorganized, people entering your room at random times without knocking. Some people were assigned a room that someone else was already staying in. Looks a bit run down but it's not bad. The food is not great. Don't have high hopes there. All the restaurants that you need to book for we're nearly fully booked all week and it wasn't even peak time. One bar tender per bar, you have to wait forever to get a drink.

Housekeeper left two water bottles filled with cleaning solution UNLABELED and I took a sip of one thinking it was mine. Super gross. The sheets smell bad. Not comfortable beds and pillows. Pillows with no pillowcases.

Would not recommend if you have a young family

We just got home from our vacation. The resorts main pool is run down, tile is falling off and a pool light was hanging in the pool with wires exposed. I upgraded to the premium package thank god! Room are clean house keeping is awesome butler was awesome. Food is terrible we were sick for days. Everyone we spoke to was also sick! Horrible cramping. A entire volleyball team was sick and multiple people on the premium side! Buffet food very plain and undercooked. Sometimes you would finish your food with out getting your drink. The grounds is beautiful, premium beach sucks very rocky can’t walk out in the water. Bartenders and servers are awesome.

DO NOT COME HERE. As a Canadian who has been to many other resorts in DR I would not recommend this resort to my loved ones even for free and it’s for the following reasons.

1. There is no AC anywhere we had two rooms at this resort and both of our AC units were not working we called down to service it and they “fixed” it, however it still was not working keep in mind 27+ degrees c. In addition there is NO AC IN THE BUFFET meaning all the food sitting in the buffet was sitting in boiling hot weather condition and not cooled properly. One of my loved ones actually got sick from the food there the last night and was vomiting.
2. The resort is simply dirty as you can see in the photos dust collecting everywhere in the room, the pools were not cleaned, two nights out of our 5 our room was not clean as they forgot.
3. The staff is simply rude to English speaking people. I noticed quickly that it would take 10+ minutes to get a drink as the bartender was focused on only Spanish speaking people, this behaviour continued at the buffet where staff was not happy that we did not speak Spanish even when we tried to communicate with the Spanish we knew.
4. They were not able to accommodate to ANY of our needs. Which included a central building as my grandma is elderly and cannot walk long distances and connecting rooms. They instead put us in the furtherest building possible.
5. Lastly, our water completely shut up for an entire day. We had no water to shower with or use the toilet this issue has happened to other guest during different stays as well.

Overall, we still managed to make the most of our trip and enjoy our vacation as a family. However, I would never come back!!!!

My experience here was extremely disappointing and by far the worst I’ve encountered (I stayed there for 5 days). Firstly, their customer service is terrible and the food was bland and had flies (specially on the pizza shack close to the pool area), and to make matters worse, half my family suffered from food poisoning. The pool had black algae, especially near the water bar and they cut corners by reusing cups that were only given a quick rinse in water that looked questionable, which was even more unsettling than finding small cockroaches in my room. Additionally, the employees drove golf carts recklessly around the property, causing several close calls. Beware of corners!

Given the price, I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the overall experience was shockingly poor. If you think I’m exaggerating, I encourage you to stay there and see it for yourself. You’re better off staying at literally any other resort in DR.

On a positive note, the entertainment staff really gave it their all in all the shows and had a contagiously positive attitude. Although customer service was inconsistent, there are some hard working employees that helped make the experience better. All in all, management needs to do something about this decaying resort and at least improve their food recipe and hygiene.

Worst all inclusive I’ve ever been to. They will try to get you to waste your time at a “offer” but it is a time share scam. They tell you it will only be 60 minutes and the sales person wasted 4 hours of our day. I had my shoes stolen and the employees did nothing but say sorry. Most workers do not speak English and 99% of guests were not from English speaking countries so they did not understand nor speak any English at all. Our transportation was late and we almost missed our flight home. They gave us a broken bed. Cockroaches and centipedes in the room. There is no pest control and the food is reused and not good at all. The food had bugs flying all over it and I will never go back to “impressive” ever again. The “butler” didn’t text me until our second last day there. Save your money and go to a better resort because this place is horrible.
