Where to stay in Punta Cana

The resort was great. We have first club membership and it was definitely worth it for us. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back again. The only downside to the resort is there wasn't as many activities for teenagers to participate in. Other than that, great resort and would recommend it!

My first room was not good as my daughter got an electric shock from the hairdryer and the plug sockets did not work properly, but the guest services moved me as soon as I complained. The property is very well kept and in good conditions. The staff is all vaccinated which adds to peace of mind amid the pandemic. The resort is a monster. Over 1,500 rooms?! Not sure for elderly or even people who don’t like to walk. If you don’t speak Spanish you’re sometimes ignored at the bars. The rooms are pretty outdated. The Mexican restaurant was not edible. Hard Rock can do better. This place is just too big to do things how you expect for the price.

The hotel is beautiful, loved the room. Food was not the best, they can do better,. Service was good everyone was friendly and helpful. The AC is not good has poor ventilation and no fans anywhere bin the resort just in the rooms and they was on an standard set up(#1). From the time I got to the hotel to the time I left I felt welcomed and appreciated. Pool bar/Pool is great love the bartenders there. My first ever resort and honestly a wonderful time. The weather was a blistering 30°C average so sunscreen is very much needed. The workers there are all incredibly jovial and kind and it was a wonderful time. The all inclusive aspect of the resort made this a trip to remember.

One of the better resorts I ever been to. Rooms were clean and cold but still have a slight moldy smell to it. Decent resort - service needs to be improved a lot to make it a better experience for visitors. Food is ok at best. This is our 4th time returning to Tortuga Bay and we hope to be back again soon. The grounds are lovely, the room is clean, the food is delicious, and THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. From the housekeeping, to the villa manager, to the restaurant staff, to the beach staff….everyone does a top-level job. They are kind and friendly and accommodating and hard-working.

Beautiful place to stay. The home is in a great location with great amenities, very spacious and conveniently located to local restaurants as well as the market and the Mall. Maxima, the housekeeper, is very professional, competent, nice and prepared the meals PERFECTLY!!!! She was never in the way and was always available if need be.
