Melia Caribe Beach Resort - All Inclusive in Punta Cana

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Junior Taveras from the customer service team truly set the standard for outstanding hospitality his service was beyond impressive and a perfect example of what excellent customer care should be.

María Rosa and Diana entertained us throughout our entire stay, and all the activities were so much fun and truly engaging.

The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, featuring a gorgeous pool area and a breathtaking beach that we enjoyed every single day. It truly felt like paradise.

On our first night, we had dinner at the Quimera restaurant, where Dionis Rincón was an incredible server—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. In fact, every employee we encountered showed sincere interest in our comfort and made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect.

Without a doubt, I would return and highly recommend this hotel.

Marketed as a 5‑star resort, this hotel feels closer to a solid 4. The setting itself is fabulous, with an amazing pool and beach area that truly makes the stay special. The food was consistently excellent, and room service stood out.
That said, the rooms are dated and in need of renovation to match the otherwise impressive surroundings. While room service excelled, the general staff service was only average. They were not particularly helpful or proactive (constantly looked for tips in advance off a service), which was disappointing given the high standards expected of a 5‑star hotel.
Overall: The location, amenities, and dining make this a wonderful place to visit, but improvements in staff engagement and room updates are needed before it can genuinely live up to its 5‑star label.
Special mention: Yara provided us with truly outstanding service. She constantly kept us updated on activities, was always available whenever we needed assistance, and delivered genuine 5‑star care throughout our stay. Her attitude and passion for the hotel are remarkable, and she deserves to be recognised as a face of this resort. Yara embodies the excellence the hotel should strive for. Keren supported her very well to make sure she could represent the resort up to the highest standards.

Alexander was fantastic and really tied together our experience in the Yumay restaurant. The experience that we had was truly exquisite and the steak course was some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was above exceptional, and the food was absolutely flawless. Truly, an experience that teaches you about the land and history of the Dominican Republic. I leave this resort with changed perspective and a full stomach. Thank you For an exceptional stay and meal.

Janel R. was the most amazing server! We had an amazing time being served our dinner by him. He was so attentive and took the best care of us! He went above and beyond, we loved him!

Ana at Jigger bar was also amazing! We had the most delicious espresso martinis there. She served us with the sweetest smile, she was a pleasure to be around!!

So far, my stay and experience here has been amazing. The inclusivity of wellness is definitely an active part of this resort. The people are kind and lively. The service is top tier. Only thing I would say they need to work on is providing more variety for a vegan diet. They have been willing and ready to accommodate my diet which I am grateful for. Other than that, I honestly love it here & would come back. Thank you Meliá Punta Cana!

The front desk clerk asked us to spend money. I thought it was funny.

I will remember my stay at the hotel for a long time because of the quality of the food (everything is cooked very tasty, especially the meat); cleanliness and order on the beach (they remove the seaweed with a tractor); the attention of the staff (polite and efficient). Yesica Reyes was especially attentive to us, she speaks a little Russian, but everything was clear. Several times a day she came to us and found out what we needed or how we were relaxing, told us where what cuisine was for today. Thank you, Jessica!!! If we have the opportunity, we will fly to you again for a vacation.

We are staying at the Melia Punta Cana Adults Only hotel. We like absolutely everything. We arrived at 11 local time and were checked in half an hour later!!! After the transfer, we didn't even have to take our suitcases in our hands. They took us there by golf cart, opened the room and put our suitcases away. The staff is responsive and always ready to help you. In the Rumba restaurant, Aleksandr Perez speaks excellent Russian and helped us sign up for all the restaurants. The food is varied, lots of fruit, meat, and cheese. There are snack bars and bars with drinks. Thank you all. This is definitely not our last time here.

Hello! I am currently on holiday in Melia and it is simply super!!!! Food, ocean, service!!! I really liked the a la carte restaurant Quimera 😍 I just fell in love with the chef, amazing! The hotel staff is very responsive and helpful)))) thanks to Francina for answering all my questions, requests and reacting in time. In general, I don’t want to leave at all… oh, I have also been asked a lot about seaweed, so you can say there is none, the seaweed season is over.

We stayed at the hotel from December 12 to 22. We chose the hotel at the last minute and made the right choice! Everything is 5 stars. The rooms are comfortable, everything is in good working order, cleaning is regular. The food is excellent! We had breakfast and lunch at the Rumba restaurant on the ocean shore. For dinner, we went to the Italian and Vietnamese a la carte restaurants, and we liked them too. The alcohol is of good quality. A variety of cocktails. There is no discrimination against Russians! The service in the bars and restaurants is attentive and always with a smile! The territory is huge, you can move around on trains and go-karts. The staff is very friendly! A Russian-speaking girl, Violetta, works at the hotel, on the very first day she informed us what and how! There is animation, not intrusive. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, on the beach and in the rooms. The hotel operates on an 18+ concept, which we really liked. The ocean is beautiful, there was not much seaweed. I recommend the hotel 100%.
