I had great view and the room space was fine. Staff could be improved and they should learn to smile more. Security is very high to annoying level. Some of the staff are exceptionally professional

The room has a view to the interior of the building but bearing in mind the noise from the traffic in the outside facing rooms that may have been a blessing :-), the room was clean though. The staff were very helpful and an abundance of breakfast made the stay a pleasant one.

The Nile cruise is excellent. I stayed two nights, one of the happiest days of my life. The cabins are well furnished and the space is reasonable, but the restaurant is not diverse, but the Sun Dick is wonderful, especially at sunset, and at this time they make a Nile cruise. The Nile cruise sails for two hours in the Nile, I advise you to try it .

Nice owner, very welcoming place. Great price, and great location, short walk to river side, museum and food. They fixed us up a little something for breakfast since we had to leave early at 7am. We stayed here for 1 night. The staff were all extremely friendly. The view was nice overlooking the Nile. The pool was the public pool of maadi, it was nice with lanes to swim in. Females swum at a different time to the males. As far as I’m aware most of the day was male swimming. The breakfast included was awesome, it was traditional Egyptian breakfast. I would definitely recommend going here.

The hotel staff and the restaurant inside are amazing!!!! the only problem was the room. very basic and the bathroom didn't seem very clean. I wish next time they have improved because the location is very convenient , the staff very helpful, they even sent a taxi if you ask to transfer you. No pets allowed, which I think is ridiculous, the rooms are nice and spacious. Very clean and tidy room, staff are also approachable.

Went there for a dinner (Indian cuisine), found the quality good and taste of food more authentic than some of the leading chain of Indian restaurants operating in Cairo. Would highly recommend to anyone who craves for Indian cuisine.

I've always wanted to come to Africa. The flight from ATL-Cairo (layover in Istanbul) was better than expected. My time in Egypt was wonderful, seeing the pyramids, the Nile, and the Red Sea.

The service was pretty good, and the room was decent too. However, there were no slippers or toiletries provided. Hot water sometimes took a while to come on. The location is good, making it convenient to get around.

The room's hygiene was quite poor; I feel like Trip.com misled me 😅. The price wasn't great either 😅. The location is in the old city center, which is quite chaotic. I wouldn't recommend staying here; it's better to go to New Cairo.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. A lot of historical sites are located within a walking distance. Entering the hotel lobby, you feel old Cairo and you could see who stayed there in the 60’s and 70’s. If you want to really experience Cairo you have to stay downtown Cairo and at the old hotels. The hospitality of the staff may not be 5star, but it is certainly genuine.

The room is relatively large, but it is difficult to find. It is next to a large carousel, so if you take a taxi, it is best to locate the pharmacy. Otherwise, it will be difficult to park and find the hair dryer. You have to go to the front desk to get it.

The photos of the room shown were completely different from the actual room. The owner of the inn? spoke fluent Japanese and offered tours and taxis, but when I refused, he became extremely grumpy.
