Cairo, Alexandria Road, Pyramids 🧭 Map
I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The service was warm and attentive, the facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout my stay. Everything from the room cleanliness to the quality of amenities exceeded my expectations, making my visit truly enjoyable. I would gladly return and recommend this place to others.
We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my husbands birthday. The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids/GEM. The reception staff were lovely upon checking in and it was a lovely surprise to see they had decorated our room and also provided a birthday cake for my husband. The room had a great view of the pyramids. The downside was the cleanliness of our room, I don’t think it had been hoovered as...
A five-star hotel near the pyramids, it is very convenient to get up early and go to the pyramids. The breakfast is white food, I am not used to it, but I can eat enough. The hygiene is OK No toothbrush is provided, there are large bottles of shampoo and shower gel, and slippers Compared with Mina Palace Marriott, it is more affordable, and compared with the pyramids, the service is better and safer
Good hotel with most of the features that make it a 5-star, a touch old though.
Nice view, quite area, comfortable bed , clean. They delayed our check in and my boyfriend get stressed as he had an online meeting so he had to be at the room . The reception upgraded our room and get us in the room immediately when they realized the disappointment. This is good for them and very professional. The staff is very helpful also Dina she is polite . The food is not good, at the shower...
So happy with our stay here :) the rooms and views are stunning! We have spent most of our first day enjoying the weather by the beautiful pool with views of the pyramids! :) the service and staff have been so amazing 🤩 food is great too highly recommend

The room and facilities are old, and the lighting is dim. The air conditioning is sufficient. The bed sheets, quilt covers and towels are old and have obvious signs of use. The toiletries are average. The service staff are enthusiastic and do not ask for tips as rumored online. However, there is little communication between them. What I said to one of the waiters was completely unknown after the other...
So far it's my favorite hotel in Cairo. It was very clean and tidy. The view was amazing. We stayed for a day and we had access to the pool and gym which is usually limited for the very short stays in other places. We requested an extra cover and a hair dryer and they gladly provided them. The staff are very kind and cheerful whether the receptionist Mahmoud, the 2 ladies from the house keeping or...
Well there is one area in Cairo to stay and Om Kolthoorm is the best value for money you can get. The staff is soooo friendly and they will out of there way for you. We are a family of 8, and we took 4 rooms all great. Breakfast was fantastic and a great variety for a continental. You could order eggs as you wanted them, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. The 2 restaurants outside reception are...
we have been stayed here for 5 days and it was pure pleasure all time. hotel is very vintage decorated. room was clean. food was delicious. I should give big credits to staff there. all of them are great and super friendly all the time. many thanks to Khaled, Halil, Fatih, taboon cafe employee and car parking guy Rama which makes our holidays much better.
My stay as usual at this hotel…
The shower had a very weak water flow. They charged me fifty dollars to let me stay in the hotel until five o'clock.

The hotel was really nice, we had a pleasant stay. Ahmed at the reception was awesome, he offered me a room upgrade and was always giving me tips and advice every time I asked a question. Will definitely stay there again.
Al Masa Hotel is a Gem!!! I had no idea what to expect. I usually stay at the Ritz-Carlton but, this time, I needed to stay some place closer to Nasr City. Al Masa is truly beautiful. This hotel has truly become my favorite in all of New Cairo, and the spa is an essential part of why I keep returning. Premium hotel for those who can afford it! Everything is as you'd expect it and a little more! Entesar our house keeper did a great a job keeping our room neat and clean! Overall we had a great experience and we'd love to go again.
I can’t write a review on the rooms as my visit to this resort was only to dine into one of the best restaurants in Cairo “Mare Social”. Next visit to Cairo, I may book a room for few nights to just relax and enjoy the quietness and beauty of this place. It is highly recommended even for families as there some nice activities for children.

The hotel is located next to the Giza Pyramids scenic area. You can see the pyramids from the room. The room is clean and tidy. The parking lot is in the yard downstairs and it is quite dusty. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and the food is good.
Once we walked into this hotel everyone made us feel safe and everyone was so friendly and nice it made us feel more at home rather. Would definitely recommend to others for there stay/visit in Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️😊 My friend and I will definitely be back at Egypt and when we do we will make sure to book this hotel again for the next time❤️
There is no air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel, which is incomprehensible. The hotel often has power outages, 4-5 times a day, the breakfast is very poor, and the restaurant has no air conditioning, the environment is very unfriendly. This hotel is 15 minutes away from the pyramids. The balcony can see the pyramids. The price-performance ratio is not high, I will not stay there next...
We stayed at the hotel for the last night. We were going to visit the Pyramids the next day, so we decided to stay near the scenic spot so it was easy to walk there. The pyramid view room is a bit noisy near the roadside. It's not a big problem if you bring earplugs.
The location of the hotel is very good. The pyramid view room is worth staying in. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old and the breakfast is not good. However, this should be the most cost-effective hotel nearby that can see the pyramids.

Everything is beautiful, a wonderful experience in a distinguished hotel with a great history of brilliance
The hotel is in the best possible location, making it super easy to get to any ancient sites and back to the airport. The rooms have an old-school vibe, but it’s a five-star kind of old-school. Overall a good hotel for an affordable trip. Staff were all friendly, Good facilities and restaurant on site. My partner had a massage etc. and was very happy. The hotel was very beautiful 50 years ago. Now it appeared a bit old and worn out. Yet, the rooms were quiet, and despite old beds, we slept as babies. In October 2025, we spent two nights at the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. The room was comfortable and looked out over the pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). The downside? The breakfast buffet had just about anything one could desire, including cold hibiscus...
Started off badly but ended on a very good and happy note. We were allocated two cottages in a area where a lot of renovation work was going on. There was a lot of noise and dust as well. Hotel is situated beside a very busy road, although noise not a issue from our bungalow. Impossible to cross the road on foot to visit the fantastic Grand Egyptian Museum opposite, but we found Uber worked very well for all trips & excellent value. The hotel bungalows are very tired but kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. There is a refurb in progress, which didn't cause us any problems. ...
The location is ideal, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the bungalows are showing their age. The hotel has started renovating them, and they will be very nice. I'm sure the hotel will be much nicer once the renovation is finished. I can definitely recommend the hotel.
Hi, my sister and I really enjoyed stay the hotel. The staff is very nice, if you don't know, they will advise you. The food was delicious. Good security, Clean , good location , nice breakfast  People there are friendly
Absolutely fantastic! Breakfast with a view of the Nile, and the hotel itself exudes an 'old money' charm – truly beautiful. The facilities are excellent too. This is my hotel of the year. It's infinitely better than the St. Regis Shanghai. Exceeded all my expectations! And for any ladies out there choosing a hotel, skip the Waldorf Astoria and book this one instead, the difference is significant.

The room decor and facilities were quite new, and the service was excellent. The fresh juice was delicious! It has a good design (glass window for the shower for instance) but lacks finition. It didn’t look so clean but after inspection, we realised it was also due to the design. Breakfast was good.
We stayed at the hotel in early April for 5 nights. We booked a two-room suite for two adults and a 9-year-old child. The room is large, each room is equipped with air conditioning.
