I would rate 3.5
The position was amazing, very central and close to everything. The people working there were also very nice and also available to suggestions.
Sheets and towels were clean but the rest of the room was cleaned in an approximate way. Also, the room are quite noisy and unfortunately there was smell of smoke the whole time in the corridor.
Breakfast consists in a sort of voucher for the cafè inside the hotel. It consisted in a choice of hot beverage, croissant or sandwich and a juice. Was ok but not the best, might not be enough if someone is used to a bigger breakfast.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel as the position is really amazing, and there’s good value for money

Nice Hotel in a great location, lovey little cafe on the side of Hotel, any staff we met were very friendly , we have stayed here before and will definitely book again

Hotel Cervantes is centrally located in Alicante and close to public parking which is secure and excellent value. We were able to check in early as we drove from Javea and you never know what the traffic will be like on the way. Staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and clean, perfect for an overnight stay before flying. We were able t9 leave our luggage after checking out to collect a couple of hours later. There is a small cafe/bar attached to the hotel which is handy for snacks of drinks. We will definitely stay again.

Ideal spot for first night in Alicante after a late flight arrival - 25euro for taxi from Elche airport, 24hr concierge lets you check-in at any time, and clean, air-conditioned rooms with comfy beds and clean, if compact, toilet and shower in-room.
Breakfast not included, but a short walk sees you at a nearby street cafe with excellent coffee and pastries, in the shade of the bougainvillea flowers.
Hotel will let you leave your cases in their salon after noon checkout, so you can explore before returning to retrieve luggage and move on to your holiday let further up the coast. Benidorm is a 45min tram ride away on the Linea 1, with fare 2.80euros per adult from Luceros station, a 5 mins walk from the Cervantes.
Well worth it to reduce travel hassle when flights can be delayed for several hours!

Even my tired dog couldn’t sleep in this noisy place: the great «Calatrava of Alicante» designed this hotel so ingeniously that the toilet and shower of the adjacent room are right behind the headboard of your bed. The noise is unbelievable from the old pipes and splashing water in the next room and talking people from everywhere around, including slamming doors.
If you are a pet owner: the price for a pet is 12 euros, for which they don’t give you anything - no animal’s bed, no even a bowl for water, and no silence to relax :(
Rooms are old but very clean.
Aircon is very old, not sure I would use it.
Shower: good.
Breakfast: coffee ( good), toast ( ok), tomato ( fresh), juice (concentrate).
Stuff: very friendly lady at the desk.

If you want to reserve a room here...
The hotel is on very good place. Between the market and the sea.
The cleaning ladies made beautiful cleanliness every day(Gracias!) The people working there are nice

There was no wifi. I spoke on the reception. Nothing happened. This was a great inconvenience
It was cold and bad both air conditioners. I couldn't heat it.

Nice, clean and tidy room. Little dated but had the basics I needed for the night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Would stay again

Fantastic stay with our two small pups.Staff were great. No outdoor space to eat breakfast with the puppies outdoors but hotel is slap-bang in the middle of everywhere … a 5 min walk down to the port and 8 mins to barrio de Santa Cruz. Mylti-storey right next door which was only €30 for 48 hours! Brilliant weekend. No frills but fabulously clean and great location.

Very noisy place, not because of its location. Some extremely noisy fuse box in the room ! + ac just behind the wall. I was very tired and I am not really noise-sensitive so falling asleep would not be a problem. Didnt have even a minute of sleep.... I dont know what accually have I paid for.
