There was a stench from the sewage in the bathroom, and every time we drained the water on the upper floors, the water in our toilet bowl would belch. At the pool, wine is served in glasses (no glasses?)

We had a lovely big room overlooking the Marina. Amazing views! Bed was very comfortable,and slept really well. Great Rainshower with constant hot water

The price for the hotel is absolutely too high for this standard of hotel. The rooms have a minimalist finish, no carpets or rugs

We loved our stay at AC Hotel Alicante. The staff was kind and gave good recommendations. We loved the rooftop pool and bar. It was a great place to hang out and meet people from other places

The pool and bar is only open until 8, it would be nice if it would stay open a little later

Stayed for a night with friends before flying out the next day. It’s a decent walk to get to the center. It’s near the station, and they can call a taxi for you as well

I just wish they made the parking complimentary when you’re checking in. Parking has a tight space, so if you’re driving an SUV, I’d double check with them first

We needed utensils for some food we had delivered and they were very accommodating. From check in to departure everyone was so kind. The housekeepers were also incredibly friendly

After a long search for a suitable hotel for our first visit to Alicante, we found this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel with many rooms, two swimming pools, one on the rooftop, and a children's pool

The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and hard-working. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We weren't so impressed with the food from the food truck. There's also a bar on the rooftop next to the pool

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, where you'll also find restaurants and shops. The city center itself is easily accessible by bus lines 21 and 22, which stop right in front of the hotel

We stayed at the Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach for four days over the summer. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The family room was spacious and clean

The large bathtub was appreciated my daughters :-). Mini fridge was an added plus. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter, it was clean and a good size

It takes about 18 minutes to walk to the city center, and you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and the beach along the way. The staff are polite and the breakfast is very rich

it's a 10 min walk to the nearest beach,which has all you need including bars,cafes,waterspouts,etc etc. The Hotel is located in a VERY GOOD position. it is more than adequately clean,room service everyday

The walls in the rooms seemed a little thin as I could hear some noise from the neighbouring rooms at times. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful

It is located next to the Santa Barbara Castle and can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot. There is a bus stop to the airport nearby, just a 3-minute walk away

My room was located high up with a view towards the castle. Good overall location however it is around a 20-25 minute walk to the center and promenade

We had our first meal in the El Olivo restaurant which was great but expensive, so ate all our other meals outside of the hotel. It’s a short 15 min walk to the beach where there are many restaurants, cafes and bars

The pool was lovely, we always found a sun lounger when we needed one (we went early July, don’t know if this was a busy or quiet time), and the poolside cocktails were great but very expensive

The first stay (a month prior), the pool and spa were closed, but this time, open, which made the trip so much better

The biggest advantage is that it is very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient

The location is very good. There are various small shops around. The beach is just over 100 meters away. The facilities are old. Everything else is OK.

The room is very good, the balcony is very big, and you can see the sea from the balcony! The only problem is that the bar next to it is a little noisy at night, but it doesn't matter to people who are not sensitive to noise

Get to see the sunrise at breakfast which is a novelty. The rooms are good, provided you get a sea view, although floors 2-3 are more desirable as there is a garage infront at ground floor level.

The food tastes really nice and to a very good price. The staffs were so kind, helpful and very quick to make the food. Here we want to highlight Jimmy, Kelvin Monica and for being ekstra kind to us

Rooms though lack of space for luggage and those without a terrace or balcony are not the most convenient for your after beach rituals for the beach accessories, no clothesline for example

The buffet breakfast was tasy and plenty of food to choose from. It is located in a very quite neighbourhood but very close to everything. The beach is just down the road and also the city center is really close too

Although we went there off-peak season so not a lot of things were open in the hotel we still very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well equipped

Also the bar upstairs had such fun drinks! Breakfast was great every morning, we especially loved the fancy Nespresso machines and the chocolate donuts hehe

Breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff are “top shelf”. The only issue is the water in the rooms. When you have a shower, the water turns from warm to scalding hot to the point it can cause injury

Many reviews said the Almerante could be a 4 star and having now stayed there I agree. It is modern, well maintained and very clean. Staff were all polite and helpful

Would not recommend children or elderly as this could cause a serious burn if children are left unattended attended in the shower

I had a very good experience in this hotel one of the best in alicante , they gave me a very specious room after a little misunderstanding with the booking , it had a very beautiful view on the sea and also we paid for the breakfast which we didn’t regret doing that because they had a lot of choices of food

We had an Enjoyable stay in this hotel. The rooms were spotless and had all you needed; kettle, small fridge, shampoo, conditioner (combined), shower gel. However pool towels were not provided

I will come back to this property. The breakfast was Great, however the diner was horrible and too expensive 25 Euros x person for baked chicken and vegetables. That’s my only complaint but the rest was Excellent

As previously reviewed the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours conversations and our room had a lot of road noise (ear plugs recommended). The staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful

Stopping at some fantastic beaches and coastal towns on the way. The bus to Alicante airport stops almost just outside the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating with your requests

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days and had a very good experience. The staff was polite and welcoming. The bathroom only had shower gel and water and a plastic cup for washing, but no toothbrush or toothpaste

The bed was very comfortable, with soft and hard pillows. Although the breakfast was basic, meat, vegetables, cereals, cheese and drinks were also provided

This is a nice little hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to the port, old town etc. Street parking was easily available, not free but 1. 80E for two hours plus after 8pm to morning was free

Excellent location for transport, not far to the train station and the main tram stop is a five minute walk, where you can catch the tram all the way up the coast to Dénia

As we were there on the last day of the year my friends and I were ordering a few drinks expecting to pay for them. Mortified when the bill came and they were included in the price of the meal

Hands down the most relaxing hotel you can book for Alicante! It is a 20-25min walk to the city center but the was is well lit and safe. You are close to the port and running trails

It has an amazing rooftop pool with stunning views. Every time I come to Alicante for business I repeat the hotel

The rooms are spacious, the bed was really comfy, and there are comfortable seats in the room and on the balcony. The bathroom is very modern and clean

We had 2 great nights at this hotel on the 4th and 5th of December. Initially, we were only staying for one night but decided to stay another night. Staff were pleasant, and the hotel was spotless

We booked this last minute as quick as we could in Alicante airport after the strikes and we were stranded for best part of a week …close to the airport 15 euros in taxi…close to marina and Alicante Old Town 10/12 euros in taxi each way …pool was lovely and had 2 outdoor jacuzzis …apartment was huge spacious and clean did the job …cheap as chips to stay here …reception friendly and so was little cafe...

Went to pool area, again I felt it was uncared for although the pool was clean and water quality was good. I have tried to be overall, I would not stay here again

Good modern hotel. There was everything we needed. Clean. New furniture. We didn't use the kitchen but it also looked very good.

My only complaint is thar the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and the TV in our room wasn't working. But that didn't really affect us much. Overall, very nice place to stay in Alicante

We found ourselves in need of a hotel near the airport at short notice. We weren't expecting a lot from this hotel as it was only £63 for a 2 bed apartment. We were so surprised when we arrived

It took us around 30 minutes to walk to a beautiful park where we found a lovely local restaurant. The apartment was clean and tidy and we have no complaints
