Stayed at the Melia Alicante for a week with my friends for birthday celebrations. All I can say is WOW !!! Amazing hotel and staff . Hotel was spotless and perfect location to everything you need . Lay by the pool enjoying the sun with a view of the sea and beach was beautiful . Very relaxed environment and staff at the bar are very well trained in making great cocktails and all bar staff were very...
Excellent room with a beautiful view. Breakfast buffet was great with an amazing view. Staff was very helpful. Location right next to the beach can’t be beat. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
This hotel has every thing you want for a good holiday. Good clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, pool, good food and drinks. Great location on the marina, and a good clean and maintained beach a short walk away. The airport bus stops a short walk down the marina and the whole of the city on your door step. City has travel links to let you explore the whole area you do not need a car.
Lovely hotel to stay in. Ideal location, very close to the town, beach and harbour. We had access to the Level which made the stay even better. Drinks are included in the Level throughout the day but you are limited to drinking these at the Level bar and pool - you cannot take drinks up to your room. The food selections were great. We had a triple room and the third bed was a sofa bed. This was only...
My wife & I have visited this Hotel over the last 10 years on an annual basis. Most recently for the festival of San Juan. It remains one of our favourite hotels, with quality rooms, a great location for beach or city, but most importantly fantastic staff, especially those in the Level. A special mention to Silvia, Daniel, Rocio and Gloria who always go the extra mile to make guests feel very welcome
Absolutely fantastic hotel! Literally punching way above it's weight!! The 'Level' is a five star experience and well worth the upgrade. Superb location, genuinely attentive and engaged staff. Even though we only live a half hour drive away we will be back to stay here regularly.

A large hotel with a very good location. the staff was friendly. The rooms and the hotel as a whole were clean, but untidy - there are quite a few small defects everywhere, which make an unpleasant impression on the guests. The food was delicious and overall I'm happy with my stay.
It's an OK hotell. Rom is clean, and have daily cleaning.. good aircondtion. not the best minibar. The hotel is close to everything.. old city, city center, taxi, tram, ect.. 15 min walk to the beach..
Nicely located in the old town just across the street from the beautiful food market. Rooms are good, but the lift is absolutely horrible (very slow and unresponsive). Decent continental breakfast, and no disturbances from traffic. Parking garage is a 7 min walk from the hotel, but not to much of an issue.
Great central location with cheap underground parking right outside. Small rooms with no tea or coffee facilities, not even complimentary water in the room. Expected more for the money paid but nevertheless it's reasonably comfortable place. I just think they could do more with subtle low cost touches
The hotel was fantastic. Location in the very center next to the main market and close to restaurants and bars. Across the street from the hotel is the bus stop for the C6 bus that goes to the airport. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Thank you for the coffee in the room.
Practical hotel in a central location. Many restaurants and coffeeshops nearby, Postiguet beach within a 12 min walk. Stayed in a family room which was pretty small, but had many storage options. Breakfast was exceptional, with so many choices, from spanish dishes like meat charcuterie, cheeses, bocadillos, tortilla, vegetables (loved the artichokes!) to fresh fruit (pineapple, honey melon, oranges...

My son's and Daughter in Law Wedding base and Prewedding Party . 7 Months work with Events Team and Reservations Team all came together to Provide an amazing experience for over 200 Guests from all over the World to Meet together and Celebrate. Hotel and all the staff were exceptional throughout the 7 days. Could not thank them enough, everyone went home Happy.. Kular Family UK.
Met friends for lunch. The food was good but the service not. The poor waiter was rushed off his feet with little help from the manager. An English wedding party were very disappointed with the service as the level of English from the staff was non existent and the manager was very rude to them as I understand Spanish. Not good. The 3rd star is fir Juan the waiter and thr chefs otherwise it would be...
We celebrated a professional event here, with a buffet lunch served at the Terraza Mirador, and it was fantastic! The staff is so nice and helpful they made the whole experience a success. The decoration and surroundings are idylic and the food was also great! I would highly recommend this place!
Have just had an amazing few days away at this beautiful hotel we had a room overlooking the lake very tranquil will definitely be back soon all staff have been wonderful especially Anne on reception nothing is to much trouble , thank you x
Very nice reception staff who welcomed us into their property. Room was big , bright and with the golf course view. We had a nice round of golf as well. Beautiful environment, very pleasant stay.
Nice hotel, very close to the Alicante golf, beach 800 m, Alicante city can be reached with tram, line very close. Friendly staff in reception and restaurant. Parking is also easy and free of charge.

Absolutely the best AC in Spain. The staffs are lovely. Room is comfortable and stylish. Food is delicious. Deco is beautiful. Perfect location too.
One of the best 'value for money' hotels I have ever been! New and stylish, perfect location, the great service... And on top of all that - amazing breakfast!
We loved our stay at AC Hotel Alicante. The staff was kind and gave good recommendations. We loved the rooftop pool and bar. It was a great place to hang out and meet people from other places. The pool and bar is only open until 8, it would be nice if it would stay open a little later.
Stayed for a night with friends before flying out the next day. It’s a decent walk to get to the center. It’s near the station, and they can call a taxi for you as well. I just wish they made the parking complimentary when you’re checking in. Parking has a tight space, so if you’re driving an SUV, I’d double check with them first.
Very friendly staff. We needed utensils for some food we had delivered and they were very accommodating. From check in to departure everyone was so kind. The housekeepers were also incredibly friendly. Walking distance to the waterfront and most of the sites in Alicante. Would stay here again.
The hotel is not in the center but very well connected. Te staff is very kind and the rooms were clean. They provide many amenities as well as a kettle, a clothes iron with board and hair dryer. There is a nice rooftop pool/terrace and a small fitness room with a jacuzzi and steam bath open from aprox. 7 to 22h.

The hotel was spotless. The staff were very polite, very friendly and I was impressed how good their English was. Breakfast was excellent great variety and the view was amazing . The hotel is beautiful and clean, amazing views all around. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and felt safe with the one way system. Location is near the beach and near the restaurant. Very nice hotel. Perfect distance to everything. Was very covid19 friendly. I will highly recommend this hotel
Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are very nice, small balcony but room to sit and enjoy the sun. Breakfast was excellent. Pool is a little small as is sunbathing area. Location is good short walk to bars and restaurants at marina or in the old town. Also short walk to lovely beach
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked like a nice buffet spread. (Breakfast is 13 Euro). We had a handicap accessible room on the first floor facing the the marina. It was simple, but clean. It had an open shower with no tub. At that level You can only see the tips of the masts of the boats, so no view, but the patio was nice to sit on and people...
We live not far from the Porta Mari Suites, hence have not used the hotel suites or rooms, only the restaurant and bar cafetería. We have always found the staff extremely pleasant and helpful and we enjoy the comfort along with the splendid location and view.

A very nice hotel which is centrally located. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room is of average size and has a safe and fridge. My all recommendations for this hotel. Comfortable and cozy rooms, comfortable bed and I thought I sleep on the cloud. Breakfast is another wonderful story. Rich, tasty, delicious. Eurostars hotels will be definitely my first choice in every city if that group has hotel there.
Reception staff was very friendly. We had a double connecting room which was huge for our family. The two minus points are that some things in the bathroom are getting outdated (I actually had to fix the tap) and the sheets were a bit torn. Breakfast is great. They arranged the gluten free option well. It is easy to walk to the inner city and shopping areas from the hotel and the stops for the C6 bus...
We had a one night stay in Alicante, so we had chosen this hotel, because of a good location. We are really happy, everything was excellent. The room was perfect, we didn't hear our neighbours which is important when you you are staying on the summer resort. Definitely we will recommend this place!
Comfortable apartment. Large terrace on the 8th floor. View of the city. During the summer festival, a perfect view of the fireworks. Nice service, delicious breakfasts. Very nice restaurant, quiet.
We stayed for 3 nights in room 820. Hotel is really close to the airport bus stops and there is a supermarket next to it. Location-wise it is really good - 10 min walk to the center. It is a decent hotel, we got some complimentary mineral water and some nice amenities in the bathroom - really nice touch. The room however feels dated and in need of a refresh soon. But for the price and location, it...

Wow. What a truly incredible stay! We booked a standard room but were appointed with a beautiful suite. The front desk staff was absolutely incredible - very kind, helpful and proactive. This hotel definitely lives up to the 5-star rating. If I am ever back in the area, this hotel will be my first choice.
Lovely stay here, made use of the roof top pool. Room very clean and well appointed. Breakfast choice fantastic but on the pricey side.
Fantastic location and very nice service. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was tasty and abundant. I loved the scent that the hotel smelled of and bought a bottle to bring back home. In terms of suggested improvements, it would be great if there was complimentary water in the rooms (there was coffee, but anything else was only available from the mini bar ) and a mini fridge. Also, my AC could...
Our recent stay at Hospes Amérigo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegance and charm of the hotel. IF YOU NEED AIR CONDITIONING TO SLEEP, THIS IS NOT THE BEST PLACE TO STAY. The room temperatures do not go below 22.5C (72.5F). I was told it is “impossible” to attain a lower temperature. Attached photos show temp of room ranging from 23.5- 27 c (74-80f) This information would’ve been a deal breaker if I had known beforehand. I stayed here for a week in July 2024. It is a small and clean hotel, small neat rooms, but the doors are terribly noisy. You could hear each door every time it opens, because their closing mechanism is troubled. No sound proofing.
This is our second stay at the hotel and each time it’s be great. Staff are so helpful, rooms yet very small are immaculate and exceptionally clean. Had a fabulous stay last weekend. The rooms were all beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing - a really good selection of sweet and savoury. The staff were also lovely and couldn't be more - especially Marta who helped me so much with my group booking. The roof terrace was lovely and would be great in warmer weather. Great location but tiny rooms. However clean and well managed. Pool at the roof and chill area is an advantage. Was available in mid Feb. Airport busstop by 3min walking distance. Planty of restaurants 1min away.
Really good bed madrass for both me and my wife. Could have had a couple of degree lover temperatures in the room in the winter time. Ac is turned off during the winter season. Opening the terrace door you smell the exhaust from busses and cars since there is no wind to blow it away. But overall we are very happy with our choice of hotel in Alicante. Staying here for 2 weeks late December 2023.

There’s nice restaurants near the hotel and the tram is 10 minute walk too which takes you directly into central Alicante. Would highly recommend Hotel Almirante...
very good hotel, nice rooms with big balconies and most of the rooms with pool view. rooms are cleaned every day. pool is very chilled, there is a bar. You can't bring your own drinks. San Juan beach (very clean and nice) is right across the road. 5 minutes walk. I stayed in August 2024. of the minuses I can note that breakfast is not included in the price. and the restaurant is a bit overpriced
We really love this hotel. Its is so relaxing and chilled. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and shades. Bar service from your sunbed too. Not a hotel I would recommend. Staff very nice but food not great. The dinner buffet at 24 euros per person was more expensive than restaurants outside and food substandard. The only food that was good was fries. Sun loungers could use a good power wash. Rooms were clean although didn't top up hand soap. Ours had absolutely zero in it by second last day of our stay
Hotel Maya Alikante is OK. It's not the best 3 stars hotel, but it's also not the worse. The stuff was really nice and helpful. And the best part of the hotel: it's location. Some aspects need to be improved, first of all: breakfast. There is a small gym in the hotel, but it needs some cleaning and may be renovation.
Liked · Great location, fabulous breakfast, very friendly staff, cleaning every day. Nice big room with a balcony (beautiful view) and a fresh feel for holidays. Could be 5 stars easily but small things drag it down like leaking shower, mold in the bathroom, damaged floor strips. But I still recommend it, just I'm disappointed in wasted potential.
The place is very very pleasant and the staff are 100%+ but the beauty salon is a must Teresa was absolutely fabulous has hands of a goddess after a session I was ready to party and enjoy my holiday thank you all.. Tara I will be back
Hotel has good facilities. Staff are friendly and efficient. Only issue for us is the distance from city centre. Road is very busy and quite noisy

The breakfast staff were pleasant. I complained about the lack of vegetables for breakfast, and they stepped up their game the next day with a vegetable dish. We had 2 great nights at this hotel on the 4th and 5th of December. Initially, we were only staying for one night but decided to stay another night. Staff were pleasant, and the hotel was spotless. Gabriel served us for dinner and was brilliant! And the hotel brought us a lovely bed and bowls for a dogs which was very kind. Beautiful room, comfy beds. Lovely experience!
Hands down the most relaxing hotel you can book for Alicante! It is a 20-25min walk to the city center but the was is well lit and safe. You are close to the port and running trails. The gym, sauna, and jacuzzi is create for relaxing during the day when it’s too hot out. The safe is great and they accept luggage hold when you check out of the hotel.
NH quality always means the same standards. Clean, luxury and great hotel pretty close to downtown. 25min walking distance. For doing business is very convenient because the highway is right beside it. It has an amazing rooftop pool with stunning views. Every time I come to Alicante for business I repeat the hotel. Highly recommendable!
A supernice hotel with caring staff. The breakfast is really really nice and Gabriel our waiter was extremely gentle and friendly in the morning. Outside the main centre a little but also a great Italian restaurant by some locals around the corner. Perfect spot for a rest and walk!

I had a very good experience in this hotel one of the best in alicante , they gave me a very specious room after a little misunderstanding with the booking , it had a very beautiful view on the sea and also we paid for the breakfast which we didn’t regret doing that because they had a lot of choices of food . I highly recommend this hotel 🙏
A good hotel with all the facilities, parking was difficult to understand so we parked on the street. There is a very good restaurant nearby, on the sea front. Breakfast was average, the coffee was good. Loads of hot water.
We had a fantastic time in this hotel. So clean. Lovely and friendly staff 👏🥰the hotel is not in the centre of Alicante ( even better ), which was quiet. To get to the centre you need to catch the bus number 22. It's about a 20-minute ride. The hotel is close to the beach ⛱️ the food was very nice and a large selection for breakfast 👌 I strongly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in on this trip to Spain. Room was lovely, setting was lovely, swimming pool and bar. Requested an iron to get the wrinkles out of some clothes and they lent us one straight away.
Nice hotel, tastefully refurbished and branded as boutique. We stayed just the one night bed and breakfast. The positives were that the room was modern, clean and comfortable and had a balcony. There was a mini fridge and a safe and everything was in good working order. It's also a pet friendly hotel so we were able to take our dog with us...but at an extra cost of 15 euros which is not only excessive...

Positives: Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Pools were not crowded and in good repair. Breakfasts were enjoyable with a fair choice. Pretty good, breakfast and dinner is very good. I loved the decorations they look nice. Pool is awesome. There is 1 issue though, the room cleaner left our window open and when we came back there were alot of ants in the room.
The hotel had a nice pool but the water was a bit too cold. The staff is very friendly. There is a beach nearby but you still have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get there. 10-15 minutes away by walk there is a tram station and you can take line 4 or 5 to get to Alicante city. The hotel also has beautiful interiors. We had a very nice stay and would come again.
The hotel has been newly renovated with good service, and the buffet breakfast and dinner were very good. We had an à la carte lunch once, and it was an even better experience—I highly recommend trying it. We were disappointed that the double bed was actually two single beds that didn’t stay together. As we have a small baby, this was dangerous. The room was very small and lacked a separate bathroom...
OK, got there and was immediately impressed. Until we found that our room was in the older part of the hotel and had no A/C on this very hot Sept evening. We got their attention and they arranged for an upgraded balcony room overlooking the pool area. Nice change. Lesson Learned: be sure to book your room in the new section of the hotel.
The very great hotel, and there is a strong feeling that management is working to make it even better. Would recommend room with a balcony (without may be also OK but all 1-star rewiews are about the part of hotel without balcony, which is older). Very nice hotel close to the beach. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable, great shower. Great breakfast and nice staff. I would have given 5* when they put some paintings on the wall and more moody lights instead of the very white walls and lights.
Needs an updated, the beds were not very comfortable and moves alot. The air conditioning system in our room wasn't functioning so we were move to a different room. The channels and entertainment on the TV was only in Spanish. Aside that, it had a lovely swimming pool. Kudos to the handyman he keeps the area tidy and clean. Finally, its in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach.
No Frills hotel. We stayed for 7 nights with our kid. Communication with the hotel was not that great and we ended up paying 175 euros extra for the 5 y/o kid’s extra bed. If you just want a place to spend night, go for it, but if you need a resort feeling, it’s not the place for you. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was decent.
Excellent hotel, clean comfortable, friendly staff, walking distance to the beach and great value for money
The staff are lovely & arranged to have someone come to our room to do the covid tests we need to fly to the UK, saving us the hassle of finding and travelling to a testing centre. The pool is great & location ideal - right next to a tram stop and a bus stop. Lovely selection of drinks and very good coffee. Room clean and beds made each day.

Very good location. Our room had a view of the mountains. Spacious room, clean, the breakfast was simple but good. Friendly staff.
Lovely clean comfortable room. We did not use other facilities but they looked OK. Would well recommend paying the extra for a room with a view as the square and castle at night where well worth the extra €20 or so. The balcony was very small but is what it is.
The hotel is well located, clean and with comfortable amenities. I give a 4 star rating because of the fact that they advertise private parking which is actually a public parking some 10 minutes walk away. Moreover, they make you pay a deposit of 10 euro which you only get back upon returning the badge (same badge like the room card). The intention obviously is to get to keep the 10 euro from guests...
Very firm beds and expect to hear outside noise at night. Weak air conditioning. Spotlessly clean. There is a kettle in the room although no English breakfast tea. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Also hand wash and hand/body cream. 24 hour front desk. Luggage storage service. Front desk will arrange airport taxis for those early flights. We didn't have breakfast here as there are plenty...
My room had a window in the bathroom facing the plaza, which is lit all night long. Not a problem in the room itself, since it has heavy curtains, but there is an opaque glass door between the bathroom and the room itself, so the light from the plaza was coming through, quite brightly. For people who need total darkness to sleep well this is a problem. Other than that - love this hotel! (not all rooms...
A good hotel for a week stay. Breakfast was fresh however mostly the same every day - mainly continental choices. Staff were friendly. Location of hotel is perfect, very close to the castle and Santa Maria Basílica. Room was hard to get to the right temperature - it was either too cold or too hot. View from the terrace of the hotel is perfect and all in all it was a comfortable stay. Just be aware...

The food tastes really nice and to a very good price. The staffs were so kind, helpful and very quick to make the food. Here we want to highlight Jimmy, Kelvin Monica and for being ekstra kind to us. Overall the hotel was clean, clam and very smiling and sweet staffs. I recommend Albahia Hotel.
The location is very close to a really nice beach. The view from the room isn't great but the food here is brilliant. The staff are lovely, especially the restaurant staff - Monica, Laura, James, Selin, Aleja and of course the chef Naty. My Spanish isn't great but the staff were super helpful and kind. Also the reception staff - Monica, Paola and Sara - were great!
Lovely view, great service. I really enjoyed the stay. It's quiet, nice and clean. I attach the view from the terrace.
We stayed here for five nights and the room was fantastic. The sea view from the 2nd floor was absolutely amazing. We arrived at 0130hrs and was greeted by Jose who was the nicest receptionist I've ever met. The cleaners were always smiling and friendly. Breakfast was OK with lots of different choices but there was a lack of crockery and cutlery. It's a 7 min walk to La Isleta tram station and from...
Lovely clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. Great breakfast selection with fresh fruit, pastries, bacon & eggs plus continental buffet. Nice quiet area, little beach 2 min walk away plus lots of other gorgeous beaches just a sort walk or tram ride away. Thank you Selin and everyone else who’s names we didn’t catch 🥰😎

Excellent hotel in the middle of Alicante. Lots or local bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent location for transport, not far to the train station and the main tram stop is a five minute walk, where you can catch the tram all the way up the coast to Dénia. Stopping at some fantastic beaches and coastal towns on the way. The bus to Alicante airport stops almost just outside the hotel. The staff are...
Good Valencian staff, English speaking, helpful to our disabled guests from England. New hotel in very central Alicante. Good bathrooms and fittings. Could do with proper shower floor mats and bedside rugs.
Great hotel. And in the rooms on the backside it is very silent. Maybe the view is not the best, but that´s not so important.
Staff is helpful and the check-in is quick. We stayed in a room facing the interior court yard, which is basically just facing an ugly wall. Beware that only half of the rooms face the street while half face that inner courtyard and it's hard even seeing the sky. Also the breakfast was very poor. Jus a few pastries, som fruits and yogurt. That's it.

Not a 4 star hotel; I would say 3. However it was clean and comfortable, and in a very good location. I can't speak to the food, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Also without the AC on, the rooms are not as soundproof as you may hope. Overall, perhaps overpriced compared to it's competition.
Decent hotel, great location and spacious rooms (by European standards). I loved that the room had lotion, conditioner and an empty mini fridge! The only downside was the bizarre rule about coffee. There is no coffee maker or even instant coffee in the room. They have a great little coffee machine in the lobby but they won’t let you use it until breakfast is over (10:30). This isn’t really acceptable...
Great for a City Break. It's right in the heart of Alicante city. The staff are really friendly and happy to help plan trips and provide good advice on possible places to go for food and the sights (based on your interests). A great experience of Alicante.
We stayed two nights! We really love it! Perfect location! Really wonderful and helpful staff! Big room, kingsize bed! Breakfast is amazing here! 6 stars would describe it better!

I really enjoyed our stay here. I especially loved the design of the rooms, the comfy bed and the bathroom setup with a large shower. The cocktail bar downstairs is really nice as well.
Great hotel near the marina and close to everything. Room was great. Loved the big rain shower head. Bed and pillows very comfortable, which is a big deal to me.
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. We were lucky enough to get one of the waterfront rooms and the view is spectacular! With windows closed it was very quiet, if open the traffic circle was surprisingly busy and that was noisy. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and staff very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here. Thank you!
The hotel is overall very nice and clean. I highly recommend the hotel. Mattress and towels were new and clean. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Location is very nice. you can borrow towel for the beach free in charge which is really attractive. Wifi was very good that I could have online video conferences without having any issues. The staff, receptionists, waiters, all was very kind and helpful
Had a lovely stay at Casa Alberola for three nights. The room was lovely and had a modern/antique feel to it. The bed was also very comfy. The breakfast was great and had a wide spread/variety. The staff were on hand and went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be returning.

Room superior with view to the sea was great. Cleaning was really good. The restaurant for breakfast was not so cosy but maybe it was there for a reason, Covid. Didn't hade time to visit the spa though. 4.5 star from me 👍
Big spacious room with two balconies. Recently refurbished. Access to outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Access to the gym wasn't working and the sauna wasn't running. Highly recommend the spa for €25, most variety I've experienced and they kept capacity low. The distance from the city while short gets annoying as there isn't much going on next to the hotel. When arriving make sure you go past the Melia entrance...
The rooms look newly renovated and were spacious. We had a large balcony with beautiful views. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The only problem with the room was the toilet door doesn't close, and sounds escape. The staff were really helpful and always nice. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast, it was pricey for the options, and they're still operating an open buffet during COVID. Fresh orange juice...
Great hotel, with nice, spacious and clean suites. Good choice of food at breakfast and great pool with views over the sea. Would definitely visit again when in Alicante. I would recommend getting sea view suite - it's worth paying extra money.
Nice hotel with high level of service. Nice clean suites with big balconies. Morning buffet is ok. The place is never too crowded. Happy with the fact the pool and workout area isn't a over crowded. However the workout area could use some dumbbells with higher weight. More sunbeds instead of chairs. Like the free sunbed towel service. A little ant problem in the room but only saw a few - should be...
