Hotels with pool near sea in Alicante

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in on this trip to Spain. Room was lovely, setting was lovely, swimming pool and bar. Requested an iron to get the wrinkles out of some clothes and they lent us one straight away.

Nice place, conveniently close to the Playa de San Juan. Breakfast was very good (incl water melon and other delicious fruits) and parking nearby is all free. People at the reception were very warm and helpful.

We had a fantastic time in this hotel. Lovely and friendly staff 👏🥰the hotel is not in the centre of Alicante ( even better ), which was quiet. To get to the centre you need to catch the bus number 22

The hotel is close to the beach ⛱️ the food was very nice and a large selection for breakfast 👌 I strongly recommend this hotel

We enjoyed our breakfast and lunch here. The pool area is clean and relaxing. We are lucky to have a view of the sea and the castle from our room. (-) You can hear the traffic noise from the street

Nice hotel, tastefully refurbished and branded as boutique. We stayed just the one night bed and breakfast. The positives were that the room was modern, clean and comfortable and had a balcony

Facilities can make you hold in the hotel (do not forget that there is a nice beach nearby) - swimming pools (one on rooftop), bars (rooftop again with a great view in the evening), and lobby with comfortable temperature, that you can stay after/before check-in

As for an advice to management - wrote in booking, but will repeat here - some minor adjustments to the doors needed in our room, double bed could have been connected as they tend to move away, AC makes vibrations on the highest power level

Also residues in shower (especially in the silicone) makes it feel untidy, but in our case was still good enough. Welcome water or refillable jar would be so great as well

Our room was spotless and with a nice smell (without tobacco, as this is a common problem for this region), cleaning services very nice - washed floors every time

Breakfast - very, very high level. Variety of everything, and with day-to-day changes in the offer. Not every 5-star hotel can provide such level

Would recommend room with a balcony (without may be also OK but all 1-star rewiews are about the part of hotel without balcony, which is older)

Chic boutique hotel with tasteful decor. Nice bar, beautiful dining room. Bedrooms are modern and spacious. Outside seating, swimming pool and garden area for relaxing. The restaurant offers a good menu

Staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is just minutes away, it’s really beautiful. The tram station is near and very cheap and convenient for trips the city centre

Nice hotel situated on the seafront, beautiful views if you book a sea view room. Avoid restaurant as service atrocious

The half board choices were very limited and you would, in my opinion, be better paying an extra couple of euros to have the full choices on the menu, this option also leaves you free to eat elsewhere which may be the best choice as the food was not great! The location of this hotel was pretty good ie near the beach and bars and restaurants etc

There’s a lot of building work going on around the area. The workers have lots of tools in their tool bags but all of them seem to be hammers

No mini fridge or even glasses in the room. No food allowed. Otherwise, a nice place.

We stayed at the Melia Alicante after a long time. The newly refurbished is excellent. The airy space both inside and outside very nice. Service excellent from the reception desk all round

My wife & I have visited this Hotel over the last 10 years on an annual basis. Most recently for the festival of San Juan

We were in town for a conference in El Che and decided to stay near the sea with our kids. The hotel is on the coast and the rooms are quite nice. The availability of restaurants and a pool onsite were definitely nice

It remains one of our favourite hotels, with quality rooms, a great location for beach or city, but most importantly fantastic staff, especially those in the Level

There was good attention to the fittings, which included good air conditioning, a good-sized shower, good wifi, and surprisingly, both European and British electric sockets

A special mention to Silvia, Daniel, Rocio and Gloria who always go the extra mile to make guests feel very welcome

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Spain! The room was gorgeous, balcony view was excellent, bed was super comfy and was the first place we stayed where a queen bed wasn’t just shoving two twin beds together (this happened to us SO MUCH in Spain so be warned travelers, falling into the crack in the night is the worst lol!) the rooftop bar was so beautiful at night with views...

Location is great, right in the heart if the old town. The roof terrace with sunbeds, pool and bar serving food is great

we did not stay in the hotel itself, but were tempted by a magical place - an oasis of calm, coolness, style and elegance. Every detail is elegantly and tastefully thought out. very friendly, professional waiters

Had late lunch there one day with a bottle of wine, UK type prices but the food was excellent - poke salad bowl with sprouting quinoa and tasty tomatoe salad with tuna belly and Alicante dried fish slices

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of Alicante. The cleaner here was amazing! We were first given a room that had a noisy air con but we’re moved to a quieter room quickly

helped to choose several dishes so that we could enjoy the variety of local cuisine. very nice tableware and beautifully decorated dishes. thank you for a wonderful experience😍

There is a nice rooftop pool/terrace and a small fitness room with a jacuzzi and steam bath open from aprox

Very good stay here, room very nice and clean as you would expect. Staff friendly helpful and efficient. Good facilities roof pool and bar with good views. Seperate hot tub and Turkish bath at the small but good gym

Very good rooms, location and service. The hotel restaurant has a great menu for dinner with salads, salmon and dessert. Breakfast is very good but they need to offer tomatos, cucumbers and peppers

The hotel is not in the center but very well connected. Te staff is very kind and the rooms were clean. They provide many amenities as well as a kettle, a clothes iron with board and hair dryer

Bar staff pleasant, prices reasonable as are in room fridge drinks good room service. Air con excellent, good beds , digital safe in room. Shower and bath excellent lots of hot water

We needed utensils for some food we had delivered and they were very accommodating. From check in to departure everyone was so kind. The housekeepers were also incredibly friendly

The hotel is beautiful and clean, amazing views all around. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and felt safe with the one way system. Location is near the beach and near the restaurant

The staff were very polite, very friendly and I was impressed how good their English was. Breakfast was excellent great variety and the view was amazing. Our room was a Suite with a whirlpool

Only down side was we had a shower, not good for the LO it was a little temperamental, going hot and cold and it splashed out on the floor. There wasn't enough space for storage, so had to be organised

The staff are all professionally polite and couldn't do enough for us. We went with a toddler and made a mess everywhere we went, the cleaner was amazing and just sorted our room where needed

Also there was a nightclub somewhere with music till 7am. If you had the door closed there was no noise but we were too hot and had it open but we were still able to sleep through it

We got provided with a cot but Lo wouldn't sleep in that and asked for it to be removed, the bed was that big we just coslept with her

This is our second stay at the hotel and each time it’s be great. Staff are so helpful, rooms yet very small are immaculate and exceptionally clean

Breakfast is great, lots to choose from and plenty of choices of teas and coffees a great variety. Roof top pool is a plunge pool? But very inviting and great sun trap with amazing views of the Old Town

We were here for a city break so the location was ideal as it was only a few minutes walk from all the museums and attractions. It was also only a short walk to the beach as well and the main esplanade

Oh yes and the cocktails are a must especially the hand made sangria. Hotel is so close to the beach Willis has 4 amazing beach bar/restaurants with great food/drinks

Really good bed madrass for both me and my wife. Could have had a couple of degree lover temperatures in the room in the winter time. Ac is turned off during the winter season

We at in 3 amazing restaurants which were only minutes from the hotel - and we could have eaten out every night for a week had we been there that long Some of the group are a bit fussy so the fact no one had any complaints speaks volumes about this hotel

Excellent location close to the beach, close to bars and restaurants. There is a bar downstairs (very convenient as a meeting point if you are with a group of friends). I would definitely come back here

The Hotel Castilla Alicante has a spacious room with terrace and a renovated bathroom with rain shower. It is located 150 meters from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants

The pool is great & location ideal - right next to a tram stop and a bus stop. Lovely selection of drinks and very good coffee. Room clean and beds made each day

Nice hotel, nice room view, clean rooms, polite maids, some, of the staff though didn't even try to speak English. Must be a common thing in Spain though. Nice outdoor pool with plenty of space for sunbathing

There is a nice pool and the cleanliness of the hotel is at a high level

The pool was a decent size and never too busy, it seemed to be primarily Spanish tourists at the hotel. There was a nice poolside snack bar with a decent sized covered area to keep out the midday sun

This is a nice hotel that is a short walk from the centre of Alicante and the beach. We stayed for 5 nights on a room only basis

We only ate breakfast at the hotel once, it was €14 each, and although there was quite a variety on offer, you can find much cheaper options a short walk away, if like us you are room only

The room was nice and just the right size for myself and my children, though the sofa bed was a little to uncomfortable for myself so one of my children got relegated to that

Thank you to the team members who serviced this on a daily basis. There wide range of food and drinks available for breakfast were all delicious and set us up for the day. Visited the bar for drinks on a few occasions

For a three star hotel it is a very friendly, clean and good service. Location not ideal with about a mile walk to all the main bars and restaurants. Close to the marina with approximately 5 min walk

Great hotel, with nice, spacious and clean suites. Good choice of food at breakfast and great pool with views over the sea. Would definitely visit again when in Alicante

Big spacious room with two balconies. Access to outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Access to the gym wasn't working and the sauna wasn't running

I would recommend getting sea view suite - it's worth paying extra money

However the workout area could use some dumbbells with higher weight. More sunbeds instead of chairs. Like the free sunbed towel service. A little ant problem in the room but only saw a few - should be taken care of

Room superior with view to the sea was great. The restaurant for breakfast was not so cosy but maybe it was there for a reason, Covid. Didn't hade time to visit the spa though

Highly recommend the spa for €25, most variety I've experienced and they kept capacity low. The distance from the city while short gets annoying as there isn't much going on next to the hotel

And if you are there on a nice weather day, which most are in Alicante, the beach is a 1 minute walk past the tram. I walked this path 4-5 times a day for 9 days. It brought joy to my heart every time!

If you go to Alicante, Spain, and are looking for a great place to stay that is close to everything via the tram system. If you like amazing views of the Mediterranean. Do you appreciate super professional staff

Hotel Albahia!!! Full disclosure: The tram stop is 750 m away, which is approximately a 10 minute walk, but it is along the sea shore with amazing views as you pass between the residential buildings you can see the waves crashing just below

A nice, buzzing cafe/bar that is not overly crowded or crazy. If you like clean rooms with plenty of space to work, store clothes, a comfortable king size bed clean and very functional, clean and lovely bathroom

Friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. Great breakfast selection with fresh fruit, pastries, bacon & eggs plus continental buffet

Nice quiet area, little beach 2 min walk away plus lots of other gorgeous beaches just a sort walk or tram ride away. Thank you Selin and everyone else who’s names we didn’t catch 🥰😎

Stopping at some fantastic beaches and coastal towns on the way. The bus to Alicante airport stops almost just outside the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating with your requests

Excellent location for transport, not far to the train station and the main tram stop is a five minute walk, where you can catch the tram all the way up the coast to Dénia

All in all, a lovely hotel that ticks all the boxes at a very reasonable price. It also has a fridge and a safe in the room at no extra cost

Great hotel. And in the rooms on the backside it is very silent. Maybe the view is not the best, but that´s not so important.

Prices in the café are a bit high. Directly opposite there is a supermarket inside it is the coffee machine))) the beach is far away. To the beach you need to take the bus or walk 40 minutes

NH quality always means the same standards. Clean, luxury and great hotel pretty close to downtown. For doing business is very convenient because the highway is right beside it

Outside the main centre a little but also a great Italian restaurant by some locals around the corner. Perfect spot for a rest and walk!

Although the hotel is not close to the beach, the marina is within walking distance. The staff was exceptional, both at the front desk and in the restaurant

It has an amazing rooftop pool with stunning views. Every time I come to Alicante for business I repeat the hotel

The hotel itself is very good looking, personal is kind, we only took taxi to the centre and it took around 5-10 minutes to get there (8-10 euro). The rooftop/pool could improve so its cozier.

Some things need renovation, but everything in my room was working. 'Late check-in' - True, but there is an opportunity to leave your baggage in a special locked room and walk before check-in or even after check-out

Hotel staff are excellent but hotel is more than a little tired. Well placed for shopping, eating and beach.

Here are the most common complaints that I came across: 'Noisy, thin walls' - That's true, you could hear the details of your neighbors' conversations and every flush in the toilet. However it's quite calm at night

It is a perfect variant for city explorers who plan to spend 2-3 days in Alicante and walk a lot. To conclude, I would like to say that you shouldn't expect a royal palace from a 2-star hotel, judge respectively

I really liked the personnel, who were friendly, helpful and could communicate in English. The location is suberb (close to the tram station, bus stop to/from the airport) as well as the price

Well, I have been staying there for an extended weekend in April. Before the trip I went through the reviews here and I was a bit stressed about the stay, but everything went just fine

i stayed here with my family in april and we enjoyed our stay. the hotel is comfy with excellent wifi in the rooms , comfy beds and plenty of hot water , 5 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from bars and restaurants

Also the price is very good for Alicante. The hotel is in proximity to everything. Bus, restaurants, beaches, supermarkets etc are within 5-10 min walk

My room was cleaned every day. Very nice and professional personnel. Would definitely come back here again. Good location, most sights, restaurants, bars and beach within walking distance. Short distance from the airport

Simple, clean Amazing zen hotel. Staff were so warm and helpful. Perfect location. Close to the beach and other amenities.

The rooms are okay, the main reason why you should come here is that it is so very close to the beach and it's not even expensive.

We stayed there for a couple of days. The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever you need (calling a taxi, printing stuff, tips etc). We had great AC and the room was very comfortable

Location is perfect! Not in the busy night life street but a 5 min walk from it and 10 min walk from the beach. Room was great, clean and modern. Nice shower and perfect AC system
