ibis Centre Gare hotel

Very easy check-in, nice clean room and good breakfast with plenty of food and tables. The location is great, being walking distance to the beach and next to the train station. The pool was busy but was a favourite with my son, who enjoyed cooling down in it during the hot weather.

Just came back from staying here room 317 very clean by the housekeeping staff.
Reception staff very helpful as we was English and couldn't understand french it was no problem for them to speak English and help us kind Nd friendly staff.
Bar men 2 nice guys friendly and make great strong cocktails. The pool was kept clean all day checking water, cleaning tables and glass barriers lovely pool to sit around seating was no problem.
Train station nextdoor to hotel. And lots of shops about 10 minutes walk to the sea front. Thankyou for a lovely stay in nice

Lovely staff that are happy to work around you if needed. When arriving I was told to go to my room and rest before and I should worry about paying later. I ordered room service and they offered a drink or yogurt which I respectfully declined. When i went down to pick up to food, they had given me iced lemon water which was a pleasant surprise. In addition the free wifi is more than enough for streaming. Happy to revisit this Hotel.

Location could not have been better, short walk to beach, shopping, great bars, train station and trams.
The hotel was beautiful and clean, great reception area and bar serving drinks and food. Dining room lovely bright and clean. Breakfast had masses of choice. Although room was small for a long weekend it was great cleaned everyday we were there. Pool area was lovely small bar area for early evening drinks.
Staff on every level were great super friendly and so very helpful. Will recommend.and re visit. Well done to all the staff you made our stay rather nice

Great location - you could throw a rock and hit the train station, and the beach is a 30 minute stroll away.

98% lovely staff. Resist the urge to linger over breakfast - Mdme. Manager is quite comfortable reminding you of the time.

Speaking of which, a decent breakfast is served daily. Will stay here again.

Pro Tip - breakfast eggs are boiled on demand. Bring a sharpie to mark one as yours lest another guest abscond with it.

Had a great stay here, obvious that money has been poured into the building to bring it up to date. If the rooms were bigger it would be worthy of 4 stars, great location and welcoming helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Cannot recommend more highly.

Staff were very pleasant, hotel was clean and welcoming, hotel was very close to the Train Station which we had to use each day which was a bonus.
Rooms were very small though, this wasnt an issue for us as we spent hardly any time in the room. But this may affect some people

Very good location: Nice-Ville train station is the next building from the hotel, 2 mins walking to Avenue Jean Médecin, walking distance to the Promenade des Anglais, 5-7 mins walking to Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas de Nice… and many other beautiful places are located in walking distance.

The hotel is well located. There is a small shop for groceries and snacks just underneath, there is also a burger and poke bowl place underneath too if you need a quick dinner close to the hotel. The train line and tram line are both within 3-4 min walking distance which was brilliant for my friend and I who have bad legs.
The room we stayed in was quite small but perfect for the 2 of us considering it was around £35-40 a night! There isn't much storage in the rooms but there is a big comfy bed and a shelf for clothes.
Another mention is that my friends headphones went missing from the room and the hotel receptionist I spoke to got the hotel technician to check who cleaned the hotel room and called the cleaning company to check through all the washing they had recieved for the headphones. We are yet to hear back about whether they have found them but I'm really happy with how thorough this receptionist and technician were. Thank you to you both (you know who you are).
A third mention is the breakfast, it was really nice! There was a large variety and you could take a couple bits back to your room if you needed.
Lastly, we had a fire alarm at 03:30 in the morning on our last stay and the hotel were very quick at evacuating people and getting the emergency services to the hotel. I was very impressed with the efficiency. They also allowed everyone to have late checkout which I appreciated.
Overall for a budget hotel at around £40 per night for 2 people and one room I was really happy and comfortable at this hotel :)

Excellent value for money at this centrally located hotel, right across from the train station for easy access to Monaco or Cannes. The main attractions of Nice are within a 10-20 minute walk, and although I couldn't enjoy the pool due to the March chill, it's a great summer amenity. The breakfast selection is extensive, though it could use some vegetables. Highly recommended for a stay in beautiful Nice!
