La Malmaison Boutique Hôtel

We had a great time at this hotel. The remodeled rooms were spacious and well done. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations, and the location was an easy walk to everything - Old Town, Nice-ville station, waterfront, shops and food. A place we would come back to again.

I loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, nice street, 5 minutes walking from the beach and close to many options for eating and shopping. Every single member of the employees are nice and friendly. But the best part for me was the hotel itself. Amazing room, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. I will be back for sure!

I would give the service here 10000/5 stars if I could. Everyone was very nice but Stacy was the best! She was so so so helpful while we were there and such a calm, friendly presence.

One of the days we hadn’t reserved a sun bed (and were trying to go on a little train journey) and she was so honest and helpful (she researched and called ahead for us!). We ended up having the best day— largely because of her and her efforts.

On top of that — the rooms were beautiful and very clean, the terrace was cute, amenities were great. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked like many choices, etc.

The location was great for us — just close enough to everything that we easily walked everywhere while being pretty quiet. The tram to the airport is a very easy walk away; the train station is a little further but also doable.

We stayed here for our first 3 nights in France. The receptionist at the front desk was so kind and helpful, we had just gotten off our flight & she informed us that our room was ready early thankfully. She gave us great recommendations for excursions and places to visit around the hotel. The lobby was beautiful and clean. Our room was right in front of the stairs so we didn’t love that everyone would walk through. The room itself and the bathroom was quite compact, there was not much room to unpack. Additionally, we had to request new pillows since a few of ours were dirty and stained. Overall, it was a good stay and the location was great — very walkable and central!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Le Soleia in Nice! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful decor — so stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were brand new, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every little detail made it feel like a luxury boutique experience.

The staff were just as impressive — warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was the front desk team or the breakfast staff, everyone went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic service by the staff at Hotel Malmaison! Cannot fault their service.
The first night we could not get any sleep as the soundproofing in the room was poor (this was in the unrenovated section of the hotel). Some of the room amenities were not working.
I explained my concerns with the staff and they immediately arranged for a room transfer within 15 minutes. I understand the hotel is undergoing a complete renovation so I can't wait to return once this finished.
Great location, just a few streets back from the beach and also close to the train station and other transport options.

Very nice and chic hotel in the heart of Nice. Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded us to a premium room on the 4th floor which was amazing! The room was comfortable and cozy. Loved our stay!

Great location to seafront, restaurants and Old Nice. The hotel is clean and staff a amazing. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout as return flight wasn't until later on the day and we were able spend the whole day in Nice without having to carry our luggage. If there is any comment, i would say coffee at the bar wasn't to our expectation. Although airport taxi was booked through the concierge the driver demanded higher fare at the air port but i managed argue and not paid. I would say hotel management to bring this the attention of the bosses of their partner taxi firms.

Location is amazing. A few blocks from the public beaches and the pedestrian streets. Also 12-15 mins from old Nice.

Rooms are nice. Pretty big for Europe.

The only negative is that the bathrooms are not up to US standard for pristine cleanliness. I am flexible for this when travelling in Europe. I think they don’t have fans in the bathroom so over time the moulding and cocking in shower gets damaged with humidity.

The AC worked very well which is an important criterion for me.

Wifi was choppy but I was here to enjoy the city so it didn’t bother me. Overall I would stay here again.

We are having a most wonderful stay - this lovely clean quiet hotel is down the street from the beach and close to the train station. It is centrally located and the staff (Sylviie ) was so accommodating and friendly at our arrival giving us an itinerary as we waited for our room to be ready ( our flight landed early). I will definitely stay here when I come back. Also so many lovely boutiques close by.
