Hôtel Vendôme in Nice

We spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel in Nice and really enjoyed our stay. The building has that charming, typical French architecture, and although it’s an older hotel, it’s very well maintained and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day.

What we appreciated the most was the location – it’s absolutely perfect! Just a short walk from the main shopping street, right next to the Old Town, and only about 5–6 minutes to the promenade and the beach. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby.

A wonderful place to stay if you want to experience the real atmosphere of Nice!

Quality price is awesome.

We.arribed early and the hotel were happy to look after our bags until check in for free. Rooms was small but had most things we needed. Bed was clean and comfortable but the dripping water from toilet kept waking me up.
The coffee machine pods were topped up after our room clean but both days there wasn't any milk so we had to request some from reception twice.
Breakfast was 15 EUR each and it's all cold except for the eggs which you cook yourself. You also have to make your own orange juice. Coffee is from a machine which tastes amazing. By 9.30 there was no cheese. The milk had been used up and there was no seating for further guests as the room is quite small for such a large hotel. This wasn't helped by a family of 5 who say there chatting (not eating) which isn't the hotels fault.
Location was excellent for us being just a few streets back from the seafront and the Durandy tram station is about 50m on the same rd. From the airport you get the L1 or L2. You can download the Lignes D'azur app to pay for trips which were 1.70 per journey. (But this won't be valid to Monaco as it's only valid in the yellow zone).

Amazing hotel! It was in the perfect location, in a lovely quieter area, still in walking distance to the beach, new town, old town and station. The room was amazing, such a nice size, coffee pods replenished every day and we had a wonderful wrap around balcony which was perfect to sit out with a picnic. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. We couldn't have been happier and we will definitely come back to stay next time we are in Nice!

Hotel is conviniently located about 2 minutes walk away from the L2 station and walking distance to most of the sightseeing spots.comfortable bed and clean. Staffs are super friendly and helpful with the information. Filtered water served in the lobby is definitely a plus. Breakfast is also wonderful ( freshly squeezed orange juice 😋 ) would like to go back one day.
