Locarno Mini-hotel

After spending four wonderful days at a hotel in North Wales, I headed to Nice to celebrate my birthday and stayed at this hotel. We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, due to a delayed flight. The gentleman at reception was very helpful, clearly explained the hotel’s instructions, and spoke excellent English.
Upon arrival, the reception area gave a great first impression- modern, clean, with a cheerful atmosphere and plenty of seating however we were surprised when we entered the lift as it was extremely small, despite being advertised as suitable for three people.
I had requested a special touch in advance and was told we’d been upgraded to a deluxe room, so my expectations were quite high.
When we entered the room, it felt very cramped, and the rug gave a rather dirty impression. I tried to open the curtains for some fresh air as it was too hot, but they fell off immediately. The room setup was also quite awkward — the kettle, coffee, and tea tray were placed right next to the bed, which wasn't very practical.
The safe wasn’t working properly, so we informed reception on the next day. They did send someone promptly, which we appreciated, but after following his instructions, the safe still didn't work. When I called reception again, I was told the staff member had left and would follow up when he returned, unfortunately, no one got back to us.
The bathroom was relatively spacious compared to the room, but the shower pressure was very weak, and we couldn’t use the shower and bathtub water separately.
On the positive side, the bed, pillows, and bed linens were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the breakfast was delicious, with a generous serving time from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, perfect for a relaxed morning after a late night.

The elevator can only enter 2 people (including luggage). It is a very old hotel. The hotel room is not very clean. I saw yellow stains on the sheets and unknown hairs. It can be seen that all the facilities are very old. For example, the door of the toilet is shaky. Every bathtub door is shaky, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. As soon as you open the bathtub door, a mosquito flies out. I think this is worse than Samsung. At least it must be clean, and they don't ask you. He went into your room to help you lay out the sheets, but actually nothing was changed. He just made the sheets for you. There was no sign saying "do not disturb". I don't recommend staying here. In Nice, it would be better to find a clean airbnb, as many hotels are very old.
