ibis Paris Nation Davout in Paris

Rough area of town, but very nice staff. Some rooms desperately need new beds. Older hotel under remodeling will surely improve. Very nice staff! We received a very nice reply from the hotel owner, affirming their attention to guest experience. Be aware, we were initially placed in a 3rd floor room. The mattress was sagging in the middle. We asked the front desk attendant for another room, but none were available. We slept on the floor the first night. The next day, two members of our tour group had to leave the tour and we were offered their room on the 4th floor. The second room was as you see in the website pictures. The beds were very comfortable and the room nicely decorated. Again, if not for the kindness of the hotel staff, we would have slept on the floor two nights. My recommendation to visitors is request a room on the fourth floor as opposed to the third floor. I am sure as rooms are remodeled, they will all be of the same comfortable quality.
