Very comfortable and well located hotel. The area is nicer than around some of the other stations.
Staff were friendly and room was spotless.
Rooms are small and expensive but that's Paris for you.
Comfortable bed, better than Paris average aircon.
Lots of good restaurants around.

Everything was wonderful. Right next to the train station with a secure entrance and very accessible to all of the things! One of the hosts, Fatine, was so amazing and helped us each morning during our breakfast. Super nice staff!

If you will be using the train station at Gare de Lyon TGV, there is no better place to stay than the Mercure. You are literally at the station. We stayed overnight before taking the high speed train to Provence. When we came back on the train, we stayed the night again. It was super convenient, especially when you are carrying luggage around. The hotel itself is very nice. The breakfast is wonderful (you have to pay for it but it's worth it). The staff all spoke English pretty well and were very helpful. You can get back and forth to the airports via public transport, if you want. A taxi to Orly is $44 and to CDG is $56. There is currently a regular train to Orly, also.

A perfect location next to Gare de Lyon to get everywhere in Paris quickly. The hotel staff is lovely (especially Sarah, Valentine & Emma) and the breakfast is incredible. The co-working spaces were fantastic, and my experience exceeded my expectations. We will absolutely stay there again!

I have just returned from here. When I checked in I was initially given a room with the window papered over and locked. I was told this was because I requested a room on a higher floor. When I explained I would like some natural light and I had chosen the hotel because it had windows which opened, I was moved to a different floor. The member of staff claimed my room with the papered window was an upgrade - I assure you it wasn't as I had actually booked a superior room and the amenities were as described on the website. I was very tired after a long day of travel and I really didn't need to have to try to explain myself. They should be selling these effectively windowless rooms at a much cheaper price.
Anyway, once I was in the room it was fine, not the biggest but that is common in Paris. It was quite cold for this time of year and I put the heating on (through the AC) and it did make it slightly warmer but not much, so I ended up wearing my coat in the room most of the time which was not the best experience. Having the fridge was really useful and what I also chose this hotel for.
Overall I am left with mixed opinions. Location was good for the railway station and with that all the options for food and transport but I don't like to have to complain about a room so would probably avoid this in the future as I thought it was poor to not mention the window issue when I checked in. I assume that is because they try this with everyone and some people eel awkward about complaining or are just tired and so put up with it.

Was here for a longer weekend and was perfectly situated as we live in Lyon and the train stops at Gare de Lyon. Easy to get around with Line 1 metro. Room was excellent! Staff was very good but reserved and not very personable.

The hotel was very nice and my room was very clean. The staff were very helpful with all my requests. My room was on the small side, but had everything that I needed (table for working, coffee maker, small fridge) and I really didn't spend too much time in my room, anyway. Breakfast had many fresh foods to choose from and everything tasted good. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is just steps from Gare de Lyons which has the TGV trains, two RER lines (B and D) as well as two Metro lines (14 and 1). There are also many good restaurants in the area, close to the hotel and a couple quick food choices inside the train station.

Very accomodating and the service is top notch. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I had a wonderful experience, and will definitely come here again. We also had a pleasant experience with Ms. Marie Bernard during our breakfast. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Just stayed here for three nights. Mainly because it was outside the train station needed for onward journey. The room was basic and small. Heating / AC didn’t work and had to open the window to get the room cool. Resulting in lots of noise during the night from outside. Breakfast is ok. Quite a good selection. Rude staff. For the price, it is anything but good value for money. Quality doesn’t match the €200 price tag. Stayed in much better Mercure hotels for less and way better comfort and quality.

The location is very good just next to the station. The room are small in the standard in Paris. Only the bath room is very dangerous, the design in the bath tub no rubber mate to prevent from slipping. No handle at the bath area. And the entrance to the bath is too high which easy to fall. When taking bath, the water easily splash to the basin area.
