Reviews
A special mention goes to Angelo from the concierge team, who absolutely made my stay. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and proactive, always going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Whether it was providing thoughtful recommendations or assisting with last-minute arrangements, Angelo handled everything with remarkable ease and a smile.
Thanks to the amazing team, and especially Angelo, my stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!
We booked a suite connected to a standard room, which turned out to be an excellent option for a family of five. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, quality furniture, three bathrooms, and plenty of storage space. Everything is in good condition — not quite five-star level, but definitely a very solid four-star plus. Excellent towels and bathrobes, comfortable beds, and nice evening turndown service.
There were a few minor issues in the room, but overall it was fine. However, the lack of a proper reception area is surprising — just a small desk by the entrance and a tiny sofa by the elevator. That’s certainly not what you expect from a five-star hotel.
The elevators are extremely slow, and the gym is small and barely functional.
Restaurant: After breakfast we decided not to return for dinner. If they can’t cook soft-boiled eggs properly, what can you expect for dinner? When you ask for three eggs and are told that “a portion includes two,” it’s almost funny — but not in a good way.
Service: The only truly five-star service we encountered was from the concierge who checked us in — friendly, helpful, and professional. The rest of the young staff often didn’t even greet guests. That’s simply not five-star hospitality.
The hotel has potential and offers great rooms, but the service, restaurant, and organization fall short of the five-star standard. If it were positioned as a high-quality four-star boutique hotel, everything would make perfect sense
Breakfast was included with our room rate and made to order. It was actually so expansive that we asked to split one after the first day. There’s a lovely bar are in the restaurant. They have quite a few excellent, and reasonably priced, wines by the glass.
The front desk and bell staff employees were all eager to help and made recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We stayed for three nights before leaving to visit my husband’s village. When we returned to Athens we stayed at another property and wish we had returned to Milos. We will be back !
Breakfast was especially confusing. There was no menu, and the staff member simply asked how I’d like my eggs, without explaining that extras could be added. As a result, I received plain poached eggs with a couple of tomatoes, and my wife got a very basic omelet. Only later did we realize we could have asked for additions — but there was no way for us to know that. Because of this experience, we skipped breakfast the next day.
On checkout day, we had some time before leaving for the airport and asked about the bar. Instead of simply pointing us there, the receptionist asked for our room number, which felt unnecessary and unfriendly — especially since we had been staying there for two nights and were among the only younger guests. When we finally checked out and said goodbye at the front desk, our farewell was met with complete silence, despite there being only two staff members present and no other guests around. It left a very cold impression.
Overall, while the property itself is comfortable and well-kept, the service seems geared toward an older cruise-tourist crowd. If you’re not part of that demographic, you may find the atmosphere unwelcoming.
However, the hotel's rules are not very reasonable. Considering that we brought a child, we specially chose the more expensive "Premium Terrace Suite" with a large bed and an extra sofa bed. However, when checking in at the front desk, we found that the accompanying child had to pay an additional fee of 60 euros per night. It was inhumane and a bad review!
