Great place to stay while in Athens. Small boutique hotel and very intimate yet accommodating. Quiet yet within walking distance of really good restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again if we come back.

We truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Periscope Hotel in Athens. Everything was top-notch: the location, the staff, the room and amenities and the breakfast. We not only highly recommend this property, we plan to come again!

In June of 2024, we stayed for a week at the Periscope Hotel in the Kolonaki section of Athens, Greece. The Hotel is in a great location just a few blocks from a Metro Station, in a quite area with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is a boutique style hotel so it is small but very clean and beautiful. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet that converts to a 24 hour complementary snack bar which was a fantastic bonus. Our room was very nice, clean and had a sliding glass door that gave the room lots of natural light. Nikos is the manager and was always concerned that everything was perfect for our stay. The the hotel staff includes Anastasia, Nelli and Diana. They are a very profession staff, yet they were also very nice, friendly and helpful. Whether we needed directions, restaurant suggestions or just a quick question, they were always happy to assist. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and that you have a memorable stay in Athens. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a stay in Athens Greece.

The service at Periscope Hotel is probably the best that we have had during our trips in Greece. All the staff members are amazing, always nice, keen to help and assist.
We even got upgraded on our second night there, after returning from the islands.
We will definitely stay back here when we come back to Athens.
In addition, the hotel is nicely decorated, clean, tidy and within walking distance to Plaka and the Acropolis.
There are also lots of nice restaurants around.

I spent two nights at this sharp hotel in the Kolonaki neighborhood and I enjoyed my time very much. It is small, only about twenty rooms, but nicely designed and in a great location near to many upscale shops and restaurants, but yet still a quiet neighborhood feel. In fact, it feels as if you might be staying at the apartment of a friend (who happens to be a designer). The staff is so gentle and personable - so much so that I looked forward to seeing them each day. All smiles. I think this place is a little gem. Very cool. Thank you!

Staff here is amazing, welcoming, and so helpful. After long flight delays and lost luggage, they helped us settle in, got us directions to various stores and pharmacies to purchase needed items. They constantly checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The staff at Periscope are a great testament to the kindness and generosity of the Greek people. That, and the rooms were super comfortable, clean, and beds/shower were amazing

Excellent boutique hotel in Athens, conveniently located in upscale Kolonaki, a short walk from Syntagma square and the main sights.
Outstanding staff that eagerly provided advice, assistance, and smiles that made our stay extraordinary.
The pleasantly designed lobby area features 24-hour free drinks, nuts, coffee, and snacks.
Was a perfect base for our Athens vacation.
Highly recommended.

Great hotel with the most polite stuff I've ever seen. The blond guy on the reception and one girl called Maria amazed us! Thank you very much for pleasent stay. I wish they had different konzept for breakfast but the possibility to be able to always have fresh orange juce, bottle water or easy and healthy snacks made things work well for us. In the near there are various great restaurants, I recommend them all. If you are in this hotel do not forget to visit small shop Indigo just next to the Hotel, well made pieces, can only recommend. If I come to Athens again I am picking this hotel for sure!

The hotel is an overpriced accommodation with little to no available services and a extremely small rooms (even for Paris or London standards), The photographs from the web site are misleading to say the least.
Although it was advertised as an "Athens Marathon Hotel", friendly to runners visiting the city for its annual Marathon run, it did absolutely nothing to honour its promises.
The restaurant did not offer dinner and instead of an early breakfast to accommodate the runners needs (as was prominently advertised in all relevant web sites) it offered a so called "breakfast box". This was a real joke, consisting of a small cold cheese sandwich and a miserable pear. No coffee, no drink, no milk.
We had to beg to the rather bored receptionist that we need some coffee, only to give us access to the coffee machine.
But the most outrageous issue was the orchestrated and unapologetic response to all our complains, a reiteration of the lame excuse "this is our policy and there is nothing we can do".
I wonder if anybody will reply at least to this comment. Nobody did in my previous one.
