The Home Sweet Home Hotel lives up to its name in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist with any request, big or small. This level of service truly made us feel at home in a foreign city.

The hotel's perfect location allows for easy exploration of Athens' city center on foot, with all the major sights and attractions just a short walk away. Starting each day with their delicious and varied breakfast was a wonderful treat, providing the perfect fuel for our adventures.

We were so impressed with our initial stay at the beginning of our trip that we chose to return to Home Sweet Home for our final night in Athens after visiting Milos. A testament to their exceptional service, they even graciously stored our extra luggage while we were away, a convenience that we deeply appreciated.

The Home Sweet Home Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's a place that makes you feel like you belong. We cannot recommend it highly enough and would not hesitate to stay there again on our next visit to Athens.

Highly recommended lovely family run boutique hotel in the heart of Athens .Perfect location for everything to walk to - best restaurants, cafes , bars , fresh bakeries & the sites . The family of Afrodite , mother sister Alexia & Tina on reception are all delightful & super friendly with guests you are soon made to feel family . SIMPLY THE BEST IN ATHENS .

We stayed here twice in the span of 8 days in May/June. On arrival to Athens and then return to Athens after trip to Mykonos. I take TripAdvisor reviews to heart when researching a new area to stay and the number of reviews highlighting the staff service(Dina was a treasure)and location sealed the deal for me and I was quite pleased with both our stays. We did experience a bathroom issue on a Sunday which was unable to be resolved before we left but after discussion with management a monetary refund was offered which was greatly appreciated. The breakfasts are delicious with homemade bread items every morning. The location is ideal as much is within walking distance. We opted for a room with partial Acropolis view which I wouldn't do again as you had to look out the window at an awkward position to get the view. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel with great customer service in the Plaka area - book this one.

The best choice for a stay in Athens! It is SO close to Plaka, the Acropolis, and everything else you'll want to see during your stay. It was so convenient to walk everywhere within twenty minutes. The rooms were nice, air conditioned (which was an absolute game changer in the summer), and had large bathrooms. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and varied, making a great start to our mornings. More than anything else, the service was absolutely fantastic. The employees remembered us, asked how things were going, offered help and water, were so polite, and even offered to send us with breakfast to go when we told them we were checking out before breakfast opened. All in all, everything we could ask for in a hotel!

Nicely design. You feel like home from the design and the warm welcoming and support from the employees.

Stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy with my choice. It's a small hotel, very beautifully designed and a very sweet home indeed. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, breakfast is delicious, my room was great, great shower and the bed was very comfortable. A bit small but perfect for one person, or a couple, and they do have bigger rooms. The location is perfect, very close to all the center areas, always felt safe there. Thank you so much to lovely Maria , Dina and all other lovely people in sweet home hotel, had a wonderful time, see you next time I'm in beautiful Athens :)

Hotel is centrally located, comfortable and had a delicious bfast. What we appreciated most was the friendly staff that when out of their way to give us advice and recommendations on places to eat and visit. Made a spontaneous trip to napflio as it was recommended by the staff as an alternative to rainy athens, and it was wonderful!

The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are so accommodating and make you feel at home. The rooms are nice and standard, and very clean as well. The location is in the heart of Athens. Highly recommend staying here for a good hotel for a great price.

Fantastic. We had a single night stay in Athens before our flight back home on a recent trip and so we chose something low priced and conveniently located to Syntagma Square where we wanted to visit some rooftop bars. I have to say this hotel was a really pleasant surprise and i would definitely use it for a longer Athens stay next time. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel is decorated with unique old pieces of memorabilia. It also has a Gramophone museum in the basement. Finally, the breakfast served here is perhaps the best i have ever had at a hotel in Greece or anywhere else.

The hotel has the best location you could hope for in Athens! Both hostesses at the front desk are extremely nice and helpful :D they even packed some breakfast to go for us because our flight was leaving so early. Overall the breakfast is really good, freshly baked pastries every morning!
