Great hotel! We really enjoyed our time here. Our room was large and the balcony was also a good size - it included 2 chairs and a table. The air conditioning worked well, thankfully, as it was very hot when we were there. The location was very convenient - plenty of nearby restaurants. We loved having a nice cocktail at the rooftop bar - beautiful views! Hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed 3 nights at New Hotel as we explored the city of Athens. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. I loved the decor of the hotel, the use of found pieces of furniture, cabinetry and wood on the walls was something that I had never seen before and it was so interesting and really pretty. The breakfast was wonderful and we had drinks on the rooftop bar overlooking the acropolis, a truly special experience. The location of the hotel was great for seeing the sights as well.

We have stayed at the New Hotel the last several years when we have been in Athens. Convenient location with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We always sample the rooftop bar and they always have interesting concoctions. Plan to come back next year

Fantastic experience at the best location walking distance to everything in Athens at a much better price point than the bougier options closer to Parliament. Staff was beyond accommodating - we stayed at beginning and end of our Greek trip, leaving some bags with the hotel, they were great with local info (needed a haircut and some car service to the airport - they came through with both on short notice), and the rooftop bar restaurant craft cocktails and food were great. Highly recommend!

Quite unusual for a 5-star hotel, but it's a nice change from the old stuffy concept of it. Definitely go and enjoy the view from the 7th floor terrace. Highly recommended, especially for young and not so-young couples.

I loved the design of this hotel. Our room had a great view and balcony. The breakfast was also very delicious. It’s very close to the acropolis and the surrounding area is very beautiful and fun to walk around. We had a great time!

We visited the hotel restaurant one day, great service, great food. All the people who work there are really nice. Our waiter's name was Angel (tall man). very nice and really good at his job, polite and smiling. I wish there were such dedicated people working in every hotel

Our stay could not have been better thanks to the staff and the manager who went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcome. The location is a short walk from high end shopping, sight seeing busses, a lovely local street filled with local restaurants, shopping and street musicians. Great for a cool evening walk.The hotel restaurant is five star. I did not have the buffet and every meal I ordered was amazing. As a result we opted to enjoy our last dinner at their rooftop restaurant that offer a perfect and beautiful view of the Parthenon. Our dinner was amazing and the desert was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone touring Athens. It's perfect

Definitely the hotel to choose if staying for a few days in Athens. It’s extremely close to walk to National Gardens, Parliament where there’s the changing of the guards (Sunday at 11 is best time), Jewish Museum, and lots of great restaurants. All very reasonably priced.

The location of this hotel is great - near a lot of cool areas & sites.
Otherwise, this hotel was just OK. The walls between the rooms were paper thin as we heard the room next door arguing at 3am and again at 8am.
The rooms were tight, although there was air conditioning, which is great with the weather outside.
As a titanium elite Marriott member, there were no “perks” at this hotel- breakfast, lounge, upgrades, etc. , which you come to expect & enjoy at typical Marriott properties.
This hotel was also rated as a “five star” hotel, which I would not agree with. After traveling to other countries and staying in other Marriott 5 star hotels, this absolutely does not compare.
