The guy in the reception was friendly, other than that the room was not the same as what was shown in the photos. The bathroom is old and gross, with an old shower curtain as well.
The toilet is so close to the wall that you have to sit on an angle if you're 6 ft tall.
The location is not great either, the area is sketchy and far away from anything inteesting
interesting.
I'd recommend staying away from this hotel.

Hotel was good . Breakfast was ok . The only thing we paid tax 30 pounds and when we get there they charged again 30 euros for tax . They didn’t let us in till they get the money but I called agent and they said you should not pay extra money.they are scammers.

It doesn't worth to stay here. I booked 3 deluxe rooms and near the expectation was high. The only thing "deluxe" may be the balcony, but not something else. More than that, we had some rainy dais and through the night the room was getting cold and they gave us the air conditioning(which has also the option to heat the room) remote controls after we talked with booking and said that we'll leave earlier than we booked. Overall, stay away!

I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Athens.
I would say the beds in the room were not very comfortable, especially for couples. The bathroom was also too small, which made it a bit inconvenient. Regarding breakfast, the options were almost the same every day, and we didn’t really like the coffee. The only good thing is that the location is convenient, with easy access to the nearby train and bus stations. Overall, the stay was okay but could be improved in terms of comfort and breakfast variety

The hotel seems stuck in time, with decor and conditions reminiscent of the 1980s or 1990s. It may have been a good hotel back then, but it is now far from deserving 4 stars at best, it would be a 3 star hotel.
The rooms are outdated and not very functional. The bathroom is extremely small you can barely move your arms, and has a window (or opening) into another room, which seriously compromises privacy.
Breakfast is very poor, with limited and low quality options. The photos shown do not reflect reality it looks like only one floor was renovated, while the rest remain very old and worn.

Close to Kato Patisia metro station. Good breakfast, location is OK. Not the best area in Athens but it was a good money for value.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the 4-Star Claim
I stayed at Xenophon Hotel in Athens and was quite disappointed. Although the hotel claims to be 4-star, that rating likely dates back to when the building was renovated for the Olympics.
The exterior and interior feel old and worn. The bathroom was especially underwhelming — very small shower area with a dirty, wet curtain constantly brushing against you. Cleaning was poor: long hairs were left both in the bathroom and on the bed.
On the positive side, breakfast was solid (though definitely not 4-star quality), and the staff were helpful and polite.
However, don’t expect parking if you arrive late — all spots were already taken by the time I checked in.
Overall, not worth the €70 I paid for one night. I recommend looking at other alternatives in Athens.

A big hotel close from the metro station Kato Patisia (10-minute ride to the center). The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast could be improved. Overall, it could be a good alternative to city center hotels if you can manage the transportation.

Hotel is near to bus stop, Metro station. B. Fast is OK . Cleanliness is OK. Rooms are not so much isolated as you can hear many sounds fun other rooms. Good value for the price.
