Silva Beach Hotel

Wonderful place. The food was great and we didn't even eat in any of the themed restaurants. The baklava was to die for! Such a pretty looking hotel, with the blocks of rooms in different pastel colours. The little stone walkways leading to all the rooms were beautiful, lined with vines, lime and pomegranate trees. We had a room for 3, so one was on the sofa bed, which was a worry but it was fine, more like another single bed. The room was large but the air-conditioning was faulty. After reporting a couple of times a brand new unit was fitted.
Very clean all over the hotel and pool areas great.
Most staff were really cheerful but a couple of the older male staff could be a bit grumpy but they mellowed as the week went on.
The entertainment team were husband and wife and they were great, had a great game of darts most days. I never did get that 180!
8 of us went on this holiday with ages ranging between 23 and 58, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful holiday at Silva beach, nicely laid out rooms in small blocks not one big building. 2 decent sized pools, both with nearby bars & loungers. The staff are very welcoming & feiendly. Food & drink is good & we would go again without hesitation. It's situated on the beach with lovely views, is well located with the small harbour/port in one direction with many nice bars & restaurants along the sea front, star beach in the other direction with nice pools, water park & nearby water sports & snorkeling. Many shops, bars & restaurants along the main road that runs parallel & fairly close to the seafront path/road. Up the hill are a series of small old villages that are very nice & well worth a visit, there are plenty of taxis if you don't fancy the walk, there are multiple bars on the way back down from Old Hersonissos to the beach side Hersonissos to ensure you don't get dehydrated! Alar dinner show is well worth booking in for a very entertaining evening.

hi Haroula and all the staff from the reception aswell as the general manager, it was once more a real pleasure to come for the third time to see you , we spênt as usual a wonderful week and above all , many thanks for the attention you had for us , the nice room and......., we arrived in france this night and won't forget the time we shared with you, thanks also for the present. we are already looking forward to seeing you again , we think in 2026 and we will contact you in any case before to let you know. again thank you ,

A beautiful, welcoming hotel in a perfect beach location. The staff were very hard working, out early morning ensuring everything was very clean and they were also very friendly - always smiling and ready with a ‘Kalimera’ good morning. Our housekeeper’Julie’ ensured the room was pristine and there were bottles of water, tea and fresh towels when needed. There was entertainment in the hotel and a quiet bar in the reception area. There’s also some fabulous bars and restaurants around the hotel but the food at the hotel itself is very good.

We have been to Silva Beach Hotel many times now and we are never disappointed, the standard of service, cleanliness and food is always excellent, thanks to the fantastic Management team that run this lovely hotel. We are always given a huge welcome when we come back by all the staff that we have come to know over the years, which is really appreciated. The friendliness of the staff makes this hotel a very special place and makes you want to return time and time again. The Hotel is situated in a very good position for the shops/restaurants and beach, all surrounding the hotel. The hotel grounds stretch down from the front entrance right to the beach, where there is a beach bar and one of the 2 beautiful swimming pools. Kostas runs the beach bar and works so hard and is always very friendly and polite. You can walk along from the hotel grounds along the sea front to numerous bars and restaurants with lovely views out to sea. The hotel restaurants offer a vast range of foods for all tastes, at all mealtimes,and is always lovely and fresh and with many lovely Greek specialities, our favourite! Lefteris, the Restaurant Manager, does an amazing job and keeps everything running smoothly. You can book into the Hotel’s Italian restaurant, which is situated on the Main Street, here you can have waiter service and the food is lovely. A special mention must go to the waiting staff who looked after us so well in the main restaurant, Kostas, Eva, Effi, Zoi and Maria. Also, special thanks to Sissi who met us with a lovely big smiley welcome on the door every day. Zacharius, at the Romantic bar also looked after us so well, as always. All in all, if you are looking for a lovely relaxing holiday, with everything on the doorstep, run by a superb management team this hotel is the place for you. Suffice to say, we have already booked again to come back next year and are already counting down the days! Thank you all for another wonderful holiday! Xx

First visit to Crete. Silva Beach was recommended to us- ALL INCLUSIVE which was great value. We booked a room in the annexe which is across a path from main hotel but were given a free upgrade to room with a terrace and side sea view. Very noisy side street with regular deliveries and refuse collection but didn’t bother us as usually very quiet and close to both pools. The room was very spacious but bathroom quite small with very small shower enclosure. Rooms are a bit dated but we were comfortable- beds, pillows etc. Beach towels in rooms too. Bathroom towels only changed every 3 days. Rooms, beds done every day. Plenty choice in buffet restaurant and we used the 2 A La Carte options which were great. Hotel was very busy so often queues at restaurant and bars. Beautiful pool areas, lots of sun beds but as others have said, most covered with towels before 8 .30am. Usually managed to get 2 eventually. Special mention to Kostas in the beach bar who was on his own and had to deal with very rude guests every day. The staff generally were friendly and work hard!! The entertainment at night was poor and this is something that could be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

This is the 5th time we have stayed at this hotel which is based on a Grecian village there are steps to consider. We love it here hence how many times we have been here. The staff are absolutely lovely and work very hard especially Kostas in the pool bar we love him lol ! The rooms are clean the food is lovely even for the most fussy eater The location of this hotel is brilliant within 5 mins walking distance to shops and lovely restaurants especially the Veranda restaurant we went out every night so much to do to the early hours we have booked again for May 2025 and cannot wait to return

What a fantastic holiday we had, arrived home on Friday and how I wish we had another 2 weeks there, but my waistline couldn't take any more because none of my clothes would fit. The food was excellent there was something for everyone, an Italian restaurant, burger bar, Asian food and the brilliantly normal buffet where just excellent. We have been 5 times before and we will be back next year for definite we enjoyed it so much. A massive massive thank you for to all the staff from top to bottom, Eleni and Sissy and Kosta at the beach bar,what a lovely guy,always friendly man,it was like meeting an old friend, in the evening we spent most of our time in the Lobby bar where Anna looked after us,lovely young lady. We had a lovely room, plenty of room with stunning views of the sunrises. Thank you again Silva Beach Hotel for a fantastic holiday.

Everything was just perfect from start to finish. Silva beach is literally on the beach. Room was lovely and big, only downside fir us was being on the ground floor however we did not specify a balcony when booking, the hotel are more than accommodating if you contact them prior to going. Food was delicious always a good choice and plenty, constantly being replenished. Daytime entertainment was exceptional Peta and Niko were just so lovely and encouraged you to join in but no pressure. Highly entertaining. Nighttime entertainment was low key but still a nice vibe. We ate out 3 times during our stay, Scorpio king was just perfect, lovely food in an idyllic setting. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose between. A big shout out to Sissy who organised the dinner service, we told her it was our anniversary and she organised a cake and some bubbles to be in our room for us. Do go the the burger place and the Italian during your stay all within the all inclusive deal. Would definitely go again. Only issue for us was the sunbed situation, we had to sort the alarm for 6 in order to get a good spot.
