Let me explain, in hotels I've scored higher previously, you get a good night and good morning from reception when walking past, here there was none of that, we stayed here for 10 nights and had the same drinks almost all the time, at other hotels the staff remember you and your order here this just didn't happen

Food Ok, again nothing special but nothing to complain about either, managed to get something to eat at every meal but nothing stood out as being amazing, there could be long queues for the fresh cooked station in the evening and also at the cold drink station at breakfast

Rooms Ours was modern, clean and adequately sized with a refrigerator and safe so no real complaints, the shower was nice and the beds comfortable, the only odd thing was having the sink next to the next to the bed instead of in the bathroom but this didn't bother us

It's just little things like this that make the difference for me. However there were two women who did feel like they made the extra effort to say hello Efi and Bianca

Location Location is great 5 minute walk from the beach and the ***** with several supermarkets only 2 minutes away

Staff Don't get me wrong the staff were efficient and polite however there were certain things missing

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

There was a separate menu for All Inclusive but there were over 60 choices so don’t understand when people say there was a limited choice, I am a vegetarian and quite a picky eater and was quite satisfied with the options

The lady who checked me in was super friendly and l liked that they actually took you to your room when you first check in that is a nice touch

I stayed for a week! Pros: • The hotel staff are lovely, that is everybody from the house keepers to the kitchen and wait staff to the people at the front desk

That might be my best experience so far. Friendly and kind stuff and delicious food! The dinner experience is fantastic. Every day we got new surprises like wine tasting or even national dance performance

The shower could only fit one person and it did not have a door or a curtain, so we always had water on the floor. The whole hotel is dated, but the pictures make it look very modern and vibrant

the rooms are always kept very clean by the staff who take care of every aspect of cleaning especially in the bathroom. daily linen change, at the reception they are very kind and extremely available

We got our upgrade the next morning and the new room was great - nice and spacious, extremely comfortable bed, nice sized balcony overlooking a little plaza area and tortoise enclosure (! So nice!)

The TV doesn't have many channels but we weren't watching TV anyway. Bathroom a nice big size with actual bath. The water pressure in shower wasn't as good as some we have had before but it did the job

There was nothing they couldnt help with when our tour operater let us down Maria helped us get another booked and would not accept the booking fee she was owed. This family run place is so warm and inviting

Good location if ur looking for something away from the main road. No Internet in rooms, and the router is really old so if u have a Mac or an iPhone then best of luck connecting. The single beds can't be joined

If ur a late sleeper, the included breakfast ends at 9:30am sharp, but if u ask in advance they are very accommodating and might serve u later

This spacious apartment has everything for a comfortable stay:a shower with decent fitment and great pressure, kitchen with full set of toiletries, refrigerator, TV, beds with comfortable mattresses, a balcony with table and chairs

We had a really good stay at this hotel. It’s very close to the beach and the center. The area is very lively which has been perfect for a young couple

At the end the owner told us a story about how he makes his own olive oil and raki after the holidays and in November they have a big party every year. He even gave us all 1x 100ml raki or 1x 100ml olive oil per person

Near the stores , beach , bus station , but in a side street so it's very quiet. The breakfast is good and fresh. The hotel is so clean like we never saw in any other hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel

Our group of 10 people usually came to the hotel in different groups from 2 am to 7 am. When you leave you can leave your key at the front desk where someone will take care of you and your key 24 hours a day

He makes this himself and it is very pure. When we checked out at noon, we could use the pool until our cab arrived at 4 in the afternoon. Our stay was very nice and pleasant and we recommend it to everyone

Food was basic with a few options. Staff to dining room very polite and helpful. The hotel is going through an up grade. A lovely hotel for what I paided for, this hotel is a great place to relax and chill out

really nice hotel, very nice staff, only downside is the wifi is so bad i had to use mobile data the whole trip (also in the rooms). other downside is that we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready

We stayed at this hotel 7 nights and it was great. It is very close to the city beaches, very close to bars, supermarkets and bus station. The room was spacious and clean

At all - everything was good, hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and very close to the central street, where you can walk, food is very variable and delicious, but the room needs to be more comfortable, it was small, coffee machine didnt work, ypu have to buy water separate

The only thing that could possibly be improved is the quality of coffee, which is the usual instant stuff. Other than that, everything was 100% perfect and I hope we can visit again in the future

The hotel is a perfect combination of a 1-2 minute walking distance from everywhere (beach, night clubs, shops) while itself being on a quiet street so there's no noise in the night

The room (Superior) was new and squeaky clean, the food and beverages were sublime and the staff is extremely nice and go our of their way to accommodate all your needs

There's a kettle, a fridge, an iron, 📺, a conditioning system in the room. This hotel has a lot of advantages, but the only one disadvantage is lack of own territory near the sea,where you can take or rent sunbeds

We had a sea view and I would recommend paying the extra for that as we had a little balcony and it was so lovely to sit out there in the morning sunshine to watch the world go by

We stayed in this hotel for 7 days in July of 2024. Here is a short recap and a recommendation: -location: 3 minutes walking distance to the main street, 5 minutes from first beach, still always so quite and peaceful

The room was nice and had a balcony. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel also has a small pool. I paid around 100 euros for 3 nights (breakfast and dinner included), and the price is truly unbeatable

The beach promenade with several bars is not far from the hotel (a 5-10-minute walk), and kiosks and a bus station (used by both tour operators and public transport on Crete) are just a 3-minute walk away

The manager also lends a hand, whether at dinner or at reception late in the evening. All the staff are very polite and take good care of the hotel guests. I was even spoken to in German once or twice

We recently stayed at Creta Blue for the week. This hotel is beautiful and set high up with a lovely view. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful

George (owner), has improved the look of the hotel into a more 'boutique' style which both my wife and I thought more appropriate. It's a very chilled location, elevated above hersonnisis with views over the bay

We made great use of it, along with the spacious sunbathing area, table, chairs, and stunning views. The hotel itself is beautiful, with immaculately kept grounds and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere

Lovely pool, and sufficient beds for everyone. The clientele are a mix of young, mature and small families, most of whom appeared to be proffesional's which made it feel very comfortable

The hotel is built into the mountain and access can be quite steep so beware if you have any mobility issues. 10 minute stroll into koutalfaria loads of very nice bars and restaurants
