⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely perfect in every way! The cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, the pools are spotless, the beach is beautiful, and the restaurants offer a wide and delicious selection

Some reviews said the rooms were rundown but that wasn't my experience at all. The adult only pool area was lovely and quiet

My daughter loved the kids' club (bookable online) and the staff there. special wine at dinner) were charged extra. Otherwise, all drinks and snacks were included. The food was always delicious and fresh

Absolutely great resort! Great food and service The rooms are super clean; all area’s are clean and well maintained. The pools are awesome and never have to be afraid you can’t get a spot

We especially liked Aris at Idaia bar who made us great cocktails! The hotel is divided into different areas making it great for families with lots of activities, and couples who want their quiet areas and great drinks and music with a view

I spent a week at the resort all-inclusive with my daughter. After initially being given a somewhat noisy room, we requested a quieter one, which was immediately accommodated

Also , why charge 1 euro a day for a pool towel, it’s supposed to be an all inclusive. Lastly, serving cocktails in a paper cup near the pool area is just odd

Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc)

Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport

We have just arrived home from a wonderful holiday at the Belvedere. We have three teenagers and they all thoroughly enjoyed. There are 3 big pools to choose from, but their favourite was the top pool with the jacuzzi

Very varied, many salads, different meat, rice, potatoes, pasta or fries to choose from. I can highly recommend the hotel, because even in bad weather it can be endured very well

Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful

To be honest reading the reviews I was dreading coming here! I can honestly say we’ve had the best time here! The kids have loved it they’ve been busy all week with kids clubs discos every night for them the entertainment staff have been fantastic :) they been playing in pools all day and the rooms are nice as well

All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them

The 2 Albanian gentleman working the pool bars were the rudest, most miserable people I met the whole holiday. Advice, get a job where do you don't deal with people. I would recommend this place for families

Other than that good location lots to do and nowhere is 100% but it's the small things that count

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days recently and I will definitely be returning, perfect for children, they absolutely loved the pools, play areas and slides

The bathroom looked awful, but otherwise the rooms weren't that bad. Shame the pools are salty as it kind of puts you off from using the slides (not a pleasant experience for nose and eyes)

Also 3 different pool bars included with drinks and some snacks. The Water Park is right next door and has multiple pools for all ages. Some slides for and access to sunbeds in the park and on the beach are also included

The food is excellent and the selection is amazing! The area can be a bit windy since it’s up north, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy – lots of pools, fun water slides, kids’ corners, playgrounds, and more

We are On our last day at this hotel. Rooms are excellent, and cleaned every day. Lots of choice of food and drink. Places to eat all over the complex. Pools are a little cold, but everyone loved the new water slides

Great hotel for family vacation. Plenty of offers for children (pools, kids club, playgrounds). Mini Disxo for children on 6 of 7 days. 3 different restaurants (2 with breakfast and lunch) with all inclusive

The whole resort is quite spacious and access to everything is included in the price, even the sunbeds on the beach. It’s truly a paradise for children

But as I'm laying here at 21:05, and my hotel room is literally shaking from the sound of their ''entertainment'' which tonight is bingo night, they are screaming numbers and repeating them in German & French

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

Staff were great although the bar staff were always stretched resulting in long queues. Water park area is fantastic. The option of an indoor pool in low season also great if the weather is not great

Beach area is amazing and so are the never ending pool options. The kids club looked great although our kids were probably on the older side so didn’t participate

Very nice hotel, the food was great, there were plenty of dining options, and the pool and beach were very clean. Jet skiing was on our agenda, but unfortunately, we didn't find it.

Wifi isn't included unless you pay extra. Free WiFi in the lobby, pool and surrounding area but you need to pay of you want WiFi in the rooms

We had lovely time this October. You feel very relaxed as staff is welcoming and kind. They do not behave like 'police'. Spa offers nice massage, ferrari of all massages I ever had done by Joanna- highly recommend

We arrived after midnight and were offered food which really does not happen elsewhere- so kind of reception. Beach is 5mins walk so you dont get bored. 26 degrees all week at the end of October

Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxation and not the 'policing' type hotel

The team in the restaurant worked so hard and the bar staff worked equally as hard, despite some very rude guests! We sauntered down to the nearest supermarket and also took a taxi to the old town, again everyone was so friendly

Room was clean and spacious with a balcony looking towards the sea. Staff were kind and accommodating. What you'd expect for breakfast- eggs, toast, bacon etc. Lunch was a mix of salads, pasta and sandwich things

Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool

There's an astro pitch, tennis courts and arcades and pool table for other entertainment. Unfortunately, didn't get an opportunity to try the sushi bar but it looked really nice

Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool

The hotel itself is amazing with three pools and plenty of bars with four a la crate restaurants and a sushi bar alongside the main restaurant

Just spent a week at this hotel with my family and we were blown away. The rooms were great, mini bar stocked everyday, food was fab, all inclusive drinks were branded and cocktails were top notch

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

Room maids are practically invisible, but room are always clean. Often decorate bed with towels, kid very liked it

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though

Lovely staff in the hotel, always polite and nothing is too much trouble for them, we asked to change a room due to size and next day we have have been upgraded to a bigger room with lovely sea view

However, I do like the feature where you let the cleaning ladies just clean your room. Not to mention the staff are really nice and they guide you through the room

My stay at the hotel 06-11 October was perfect. The workers of the hotel were hospitable and pleasant. Rooms are always tidy and good equipped. I had nice view on the street and the beach

The bath by the bed and open plan wash basin is a bit odd, and if you do feel like having a bath, it would take an absolute age to fill

Returned to vacation at Stella Palace after two years, the vacation as usual was perfect, we arrived 3 families with children who were in the water park all day. Always treats of ice cream and soft drinks around the pool

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

The food is exceptionally good and everyone in the staff is very friendly. It's a beautiful resort with lots of comfortable sunbeds around the pools. There is animation but not too late and not too loud

Food, staff, rooms and all facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The swim-up was fantastic, quiet most of the time and waiter service to pool side was unexpected but appreciated

many sunbeds are already reserved with towels (an issue the hotel could manage more strictly), and in the restaurants some parents let their children watch videos on phones or tablets at high volume

Great hotel with many pools and bars, food at the buffet was good and had a variety of different dishes every day. The staff were extremely kind and friendly

Big shout out to the guy that ran the pool entertainment. Didn’t get his name but he was fab and he and the animation team worked long hours and kept both adults and kids entertained with very basic props

At the pool bar Eva and Alexandriou worked very hard and always had a welcome and a smile

Fun pool had an excellent bar and provided pizza, chips, burgers, salad and was a nice change from the main restaurant some days. Whipped ice cream was available in both pool bar and fun pool bar all day, every day

Grand Hotel get them some decent equipment! The water park and slides were excellent and very well supervised by two lifeguards at all times, who would not allow children to enter without an adult to accompany them

A special mention to George in the restaurant who is just one of those welcoming and helpful people that makes your holiday very special. He’s worked there for 25 years and could not do enough for our family

An outstanding gentleman and a huge asset to Grand Hotel! Mary Ann and Hannah were also exceptional restaurant staff and so friendly and helpful

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

The only food that was tasty and appropriate for the hotel level was the food that was paid extra in the restaurant on the beach/pool

The towels were changed every day and linen on beds changed twice. The staff were extremely friendly specially the waitering staff in the restaurants

Hotel was recently renovated so it felt like brand new. Bed was super comfortable and yes double beds do separate but to us it made no big difference. Staff really nice people! I would give extra star for cooks

Life guards were on duty in all pool areas which was reassuring. Location and sea views from our room were amazing especially early morning sun rise was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Room was clean; towels got replaced everyday. The poolwater is salty and clean too. Food was average, since there isn't a wide variety. The waiter are attractive and nice. The beach is a 10 minute walk from thr hotel

I had a very great massage from Anastasia. It was very relaxing and a pleasure. The spa area is very modern beautiful. There is also an indoor pool where you can relax and swim. The staff is very friendly and kind

We visiting the Aegeo spa for a Cretian massage and it was amazing. I was taken care or by Leo and was warmly welcomed with my husband. We both felt very well taken care of. I can recommend Leo as a massage therapist

I had a wonderful massage experience with Lito today. It was a very relaxing time at the Aegeo Spa of the Anissa Beach resort. Also huge shout-out to Maria who did all the bookings and recommendations

He provided an amazing service especially for me who is not a frequent massage person and who was nervous regarding the pressure. Could highly recommend all who are visiting the Anissa Beach Resort

Elmon did my massage and it was truly amazing, she was so gentle and really soothing. She was very careful and asked me about every little detail. 10/10 would recommend and come back again! :)

The adult only pool looked nice a quiet. The staff are all so friendly and always smiling, from the waiters to the gardener. The maids are absolutely gems, the room was always spotless, even with 2 teens

Pictures on website can be quite deceiving. Yes we did have an individual pool but it was really overlooked. We were in a room of 3 in a row. We did feel it lacked the privacy we were hoping for

Totally overlooked by other rooms. No privacy whatsoever felt as it we were in the same pool

We literally could see the staff pouring drinks from our room(not so private)! We heard a lot of guests complaining that there rooms were not as advertised and to be honest most got fobbed off by reception who are paid to act like a doctor’s receptionist and have an answer for everything

we overheard them mocking guests that had complained. Would I go back to this hotel, no, I feel unless you stay in the elite or deluxe rooms you will probably be disappointed with your room

Though yes we knew it was an inland view we were surrounded by 2 overhead walkway bridges to the restaurant and bar so guests constantly walking overhead and peering down

A decent beach hotel with a good beach access, a good restaurant and multiple cocktail bars. This hotel is built to look more like a small Greek village

Loved the privacy of the rooms, which were more like villas. Wonderful service and ambience. The dining options and hours worked very well for us

All inclusive buffet is very good with a nice variety each day. Rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of space for 2. We had room 448 which was in an excellent location with a main pool view and a distant sea view

Bed were changed regularly and rooms cleaned daily. Pool we went to the one nearest reception. All staff were very cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, the meals were good and varied

I have been to many Tui hotels of the same rating and this one has something special! Manos and Kostas at the pool bar are PHENOMENAL and both truly make the holiday - I really really hope they are here next year for my 30th! They create a wonderful atmosphere - wonderful bar drinks, always filling everyone with laughs! The staff are beyond friendly and could do not more for you - I have never experienced...

Can't rate staff here enough, nothing is too much trouble, Xsnthippi was amazing in releasing tension during my massage. Only niggle is smoking, where some guest are inconsiderate when sunbed are so close

Just got back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at Insula Alba. This Hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Europe. The Rooms are great and having a swim up pool at the bottom of your sun loungers is top notch

The food was absolutely fantastic and had so much choice. We didn’t do much in the evening but there was always some entertainment going on at the pool bar

But most of all our pool barman MANOS He was not only great at making any cocktail we asked for but went above and beyond to make us feel special and it actually felt like he was a long time friend

swim-up room complete waste of money, water so cold painful getting in and no better once you were in, took the breath of you and a pleasure getting out, no parasols provided to keep the sun of you, the main pool water same some parasols provided there, did complain to reception about the coldness only to be told there was an indoor pool which was heated, who goes on holiday to a hot country in summer...

Have just returned from a 7 day break at the Caldera Palace with the wife my son his fiancée and my 3 yr old grand daughter We had rooms 8001 family swim up and 8002 double swim up Room was large massive queen size bed and brim on all inc was nice to have a complimentary bottle of wine along with the mini bar that was replenished each day Food in the main restaurant was really good with a vast selection...

The hotel complex is large with a number of pools including adult area (that you don't need to pay extra for so parents can take advantage of some quiet time whilst the children are in kids club) family and splash pool

The rooms are spotless and clean, the staff are very helpful and we loved the waiter service for drinks by the pool. We have visited twice and enjoyed both holidays

Sometimes you get coffee from a push button machine, also gross. Then at breakfast you can be served what I think is filter? Could be wrong but regardless, it's disgusting. So apart from the coffee, great hotel

They have espresso machines and sometimes you get coffee from the 'proper' machines, I don't understand the why and where of getting coffee from a espresso machine but sometimes it arrives

Great hotel, staff are fantastic. If you're after an All In holiday it's hard to complain about it. However, the coffee is absolutely gross
