The all-inclusive offering is generous, and the staff made our birthday celebration special with a surprise cake at dinner. We stayed in a bungalow, spacious but a bit dated. The spa is excellent, though quite pricey

My daughter loved the kids' club (bookable online) and the staff there. special wine at dinner) were charged extra. Otherwise, all drinks and snacks were included. The food was always delicious and fresh

We had a wonderful stay here, and highly recommend it. My husband and I brought our 1 year old, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly with the baby

I spent a week at the resort all-inclusive with my daughter. After initially being given a somewhat noisy room, we requested a quieter one, which was immediately accommodated

We particularly enjoyed the Restaurant Platia, but the buffet in the main restaurant, Enomy, was also always great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

My parents also came, and the staff were very supportive & helpful to them, as my mother is currently on a walking stick

The food was good, but you shouldn't expect much, classic Greek specialties were rather unique. However, the desserts are impressive

If you have any questions, you were warmly welcomed, I found it good that the service is well trained, some could even speak German

Entertainment staff work hard all day firstly with the children and then later with the evening entertainment. Some rooms are down the lot of steps and while there are some ramps they're fairly steep

Very varied, many salads, different meat, rice, potatoes, pasta or fries to choose from. I can highly recommend the hotel, because even in bad weather it can be endured very well

Great holiday with the family. Family room with a sea view was perfect for us. Food was actually really good. Decent variety. Salads and gyros were stand out. Would highly recommend

In the hotel itself there are offers every day for young and old, which I found particularly nice. We tolerated the food well, every day something different is offered

All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them

Other than that good location lots to do and nowhere is 100% but it's the small things that count

To be honest reading the reviews I was dreading coming here! I can honestly say we’ve had the best time here! The kids have loved it they’ve been busy all week with kids clubs discos every night for them the entertainment staff have been fantastic :) they been playing in pools all day and the rooms are nice as well

The food has been really good I mean what do you expect at 4* hotel there have been meals for everyone

Disco each night was a bit repetitive but kids loved learning the same dances. food could be a bit better but we always found something to eat as there’s plenty of option. Our room was very clean with a perfect sea view

We had a late flight home and they let us stay in the hotel all day and use all the facilities until we had left which was a really late evening flight at no extra cost! All in all nothing to complain about here

We are On our last day at this hotel. Rooms are excellent, and cleaned every day. Lots of choice of food and drink. Places to eat all over the complex. Pools are a little cold, but everyone loved the new water slides

The entertainment team Jayden etc are a great laugh well worth getting involved with some of the activities

Great hotel for family vacation. Plenty of offers for children (pools, kids club, playgrounds). Mini Disxo for children on 6 of 7 days. 3 different restaurants (2 with breakfast and lunch) with all inclusive

The food is excellent and the selection is amazing! The area can be a bit windy since it’s up north, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy – lots of pools, fun water slides, kids’ corners, playgrounds, and more

The hotel itself is fine, the rooms is good and gets cleaned each day. I also find the staff to be helpful and kind, and the food is not terrible

It should be the best hotel in the east of the island. There are more than a dozen tennis courts. Friends who like tennis highly recommend this place

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

Fantastic facilities and great options for all ages. Food quality is fantastic and the main restaurant has themed nights to keep it varied. Most of the food is also cooked fresh in open kitchens which is great

Staff were great although the bar staff were always stretched resulting in long queues. Water park area is fantastic. The option of an indoor pool in low season also great if the weather is not great

All in all we enjoyed every Minute. We think it‘s a good idea to change to adult friendly next Season. Wish all the best for all of you

and I was disappointed with the drinks package as most places offer cocktails and snacks 24hrs water would be good in rooms mi d we were luck6 to have a sea view and it was beautiful

We arrived after midnight and were offered food which really does not happen elsewhere- so kind of reception. Beach is 5mins walk so you dont get bored. 26 degrees all week at the end of October

Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxation and not the 'policing' type hotel

We have just come back yes the rooms are standard and not the same pictures as advertised but it was clean the cleaners in every day , the food was repetitive and not always hot but I must say Angelo amd his team worked very hard with the likes of marianna and eva and giannis always having a smile and must say Angelo

The team in the restaurant worked so hard and the bar staff worked equally as hard, despite some very rude guests! We sauntered down to the nearest supermarket and also took a taxi to the old town, again everyone was so friendly

The Italian restaurant was our favourite. Roula and Spyros were amazing waiters and recommended the best food! Toto and Ana kept the kids and adults entertained

The food at the restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had. The location was also perfect — close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch — from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the luxurious bathroom products

Just spent a week at this hotel with my family and we were blown away. The rooms were great, mini bar stocked everyday, food was fab, all inclusive drinks were branded and cocktails were top notch

Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though

However, I do like the feature where you let the cleaning ladies just clean your room. Not to mention the staff are really nice and they guide you through the room

My stay at the hotel 06-11 October was perfect. The workers of the hotel were hospitable and pleasant. Rooms are always tidy and good equipped. I had nice view on the street and the beach

The best and most luxurious hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We truly felt at home. everyone was so kind and dedicated. The food was of exceptional quality, and the entire experience was amazing

A very smart hotel with excellent sea views and a lovely main swimming pool. You can have room with its own jacuzzi and garden, or one with a plunge pool or a share infinity pool

The only gripe about the pool area was that you had to use an app on your phone ( that didn't always work) or catch the attention of a server

The rooms are spotless but more attention to refilling teas coffee and replacement of towels would be better than the little treats left

The bath by the bed and open plan wash basin is a bit odd, and if you do feel like having a bath, it would take an absolute age to fill

We did not use the hotel for meals other than breakfast which was fabulous, a great range of food on offer

Even after a full week, we were still not bored of the slides. A good variety of things from fire shows to magicians. Again fun for the family though make sure you get there early to get a seat

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

Got back last week after a 7 day stay here. Family of four and we all had great relaxing time. Soon as reach resort greeted with smiles all round

• The main buffet restaurant, Poseidon, can get quite noisy — the acoustic level is more reminiscent of a train station than a dining hall, which takes away from the otherwise good food experience

Just back from a ten day stay at Grand Hotel. Super clean rooms and dining areas. Pool areas power hosed every morning and then mopped by the very hard working cleaners

Grand Hotel get them some decent equipment! The water park and slides were excellent and very well supervised by two lifeguards at all times, who would not allow children to enter without an adult to accompany them

Excellent choice of food in main restaurant and vegetarians catered for at all times. Desserts delicious and plenty of choice compared to many other all inclusive hotels that I’ve stayed in

Fun pool had an excellent bar and provided pizza, chips, burgers, salad and was a nice change from the main restaurant some days. Whipped ice cream was available in both pool bar and fun pool bar all day, every day

We had a great time, the facilities and service are excellent. We were disappointed with the food, both the breakfast, lunch and dinner

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

The Hotel was very nice, good Buffet, very clean and directly on the beach. Very good located with a lot of shops and Restaurants around.

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

The Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa offers a luxurious getaway right on the beach. The rooms are modern, clean, and offer breathtaking sea views. The spa area is top-notch, perfect for relaxation

Cons: the parking was shared between 5 hotels over our 5 night stay we were able to park there one time. We had to park a good distance away from hotel

The hotel is centrally located near shops and beach. Good breakfast, ok lunch, messy dinner, recommend to have breakfast only

Good service except for the guy who works on the beach and rents out sunbeds and umbrellas, arrogant and rude. recommend to choose the nearby beaches

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

Room was clean; towels got replaced everyday. The poolwater is salty and clean too. Food was average, since there isn't a wide variety. The waiter are attractive and nice. The beach is a 10 minute walk from thr hotel

Life guards were on duty in all pool areas which was reassuring. Location and sea views from our room were amazing especially early morning sun rise was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and stay again

The food is varied for so many people, alcohol in all inclusive is not the same, but the whole hotel and the commitment of the staff at the highest level

I have never seen such cleanliness and commitment in such a large hotel. The pools are great, even the number of sunbeds is quite ok

The Massage was wonderful… a good change after a relaxing day at the beach. masseur was very pleasant and professional.

The Aegean Spa team at the hotel is very friendly and nice. They also offered me a free shorter massage. Anastasia does a good joob.

We visiting the Aegeo spa for a Cretian massage and it was amazing. I was taken care or by Leo and was warmly welcomed with my husband. We both felt very well taken care of. I can recommend Leo as a massage therapist

I had a very great massage from Anastasia. It was very relaxing and a pleasure. The spa area is very modern beautiful. There is also an indoor pool where you can relax and swim. The staff is very friendly and kind

I had a wonderful massage experience with Lito today. It was a very relaxing time at the Aegeo Spa of the Anissa Beach resort. Also huge shout-out to Maria who did all the bookings and recommendations

The adult only pool looked nice a quiet. The staff are all so friendly and always smiling, from the waiters to the gardener. The maids are absolutely gems, the room was always spotless, even with 2 teens

The bars nice, with a wide range of drinks, entertainment on daily. The food was good, always a choice of fish/ meat, potato’s and salads

We booked the beach transfer one day, and we hired a car from the hotel for 3 days, which was a similar price to any car rental place. The car park is a little dicey though, as it’s a building site

The hotel is in a wonderful area, would definitely recommend Koutouloufari, a charming little village with lots of lovely bars, restaurant and shops

Pictures on website can be quite deceiving. Yes we did have an individual pool but it was really overlooked. We were in a room of 3 in a row. We did feel it lacked the privacy we were hoping for

We stayed her for 10 nights as a family of 4, half board. The hotel is beautiful, really unique and pretty, especially on a night when it is all lit up. The pool area is nice but does get busy

All inclusive buffet is very good with a nice variety each day. Rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of space for 2. We had room 448 which was in an excellent location with a main pool view and a distant sea view

Just got back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at Insula Alba. This Hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Europe. The Rooms are great and having a swim up pool at the bottom of your sun loungers is top notch

But most of all our pool barman MANOS He was not only great at making any cocktail we asked for but went above and beyond to make us feel special and it actually felt like he was a long time friend

Overall we will be returning to Crete and only to this hotel. Thanks for a memorable Holiday that my wife and I will not forget. Please pass on our thanks to the team and Manos

He made us want to go and hang out at the bar every day with his warm friendly demeanor. We would return to this hotel at a heart beat just to have drinks with Manos

The food was absolutely fantastic and had so much choice. We didn’t do much in the evening but there was always some entertainment going on at the pool bar

We had very good experiance in Elmi Hotel very good food and clean rooms friendly people and is also very quiet

we were accommodated for 5 nights, the big minus is that there is no beach and if you want to lie on the sunbeds you have to pay €25 but the view of the sea is beautiful, we had ordered 2 rooms, but we got a large apartment with a luxurious terrace and a wonderful view, the food was good for children (all-inclusive) they didn't have any non-bubble drinks except water, otherwise everything was wonderful

The hotel is nice, located on the first line. Location to the sea is perfect! One of the best disco bars by the sea yelling to three hours a night for sleeping

The bars in the all inclusive are really good. The staff in general are all lovely, polite, helpful and hardworking
