Hotels with pool and beach in Hersonissos

We stayed at Lyttos Mare with two teenagers for a week in August 2025 in a two bedroom room with an individual pool. We have stayed in many five star hotels over the years, and this is at the top of the list so far

Lyttos mare is such a beautiful hotel - the staff were so attentive and couldn’t fault the food, the cleanliness & facilities! Plus the hotels steak and Asian restaurants were stunning but had to be booked during the week

You can access the sister hotel Lyttos beach and use their facilities such as the Olympic pool, waterpark, lyttopia, and see the entertainment each night (quizzes, bingo, performances & DJ nights) so there was plenty to do

The gym coach is amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and always in a great mood he made my workouts here even better. The hotel itself is fantastic too.. great vibe and everything well taken care of!

The facilities, cleanliness of the room and the resort and the beautiful catchy design definitely makes it one of the best. The all inclusive food is slightly repetitive

We have had a perfectly chilled, all inclusive week! The hotel is more adult friendly, but it was our 1 year olds first holiday and we wanted a relaxed atmosphere

The hotel has a beachfront with water sports available for an extra charge, such as jet skis, banana boats, parasailing, and more – and the staff there were absolutely wonderful

The hotel is fantastic for families with children. There are plenty of activities, including a water park, slides in the pools, and afternoon and evening entertainment

We stayed at Star Beach in Crete and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is large, very clean, and the staff are kind and helpful

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

Everything OK, but the main restaurant food was rather average and repetitive. Staff we very nice with decent service. Beach, with rocks so not easy to swim

The best hotel I've ever been to. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The hotel is sublime. It's a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it.

i would have liked more entertainment ( during the day and night) so i could come next time with my teenagers kids next time, but this is what make this place extra quiet

Rooms and hotel in general is very clean , staff were very helpful and attentive pool area was good with plenty sunbeds .we had a complementry bottle of prosecco in room on arrival

To give you and idea of the charges a massage and jacuzzi session for 2 had a special discount price of 189€! The pool area was very quiet, there wasn't much in terms of atmosphere, people kept themselves to themselves, there was some background music from the pool bar and an aqua aerobics class a couple of times a week that seems popular, but on the whole day times were slow and quiet

The overall condition of the hotel was good with comfy sunbeds and it was all kept clean, the hotel reception area is dated, I think they may be going for the rustic style but personally I think it just felt dated

Location Location is great 5 minute walk from the beach and the ***** with several supermarkets only 2 minutes away

Let me explain, in hotels I've scored higher previously, you get a good night and good morning from reception when walking past, here there was none of that, we stayed here for 10 nights and had the same drinks almost all the time, at other hotels the staff remember you and your order here this just didn't happen

Food Ok, again nothing special but nothing to complain about either, managed to get something to eat at every meal but nothing stood out as being amazing, there could be long queues for the fresh cooked station in the evening and also at the cold drink station at breakfast

We recently had the pleasure of returning for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as we remembered! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home

The best part was there were so many guests but the place never seemed under maintained or messy. A must recommended place for family with kids and also couples. I'm definitely going back next summer

The scuba instructor was… let’s say not always the most customer centric. Not a hotel staff but they sub contracted

The food is exceptionally good and everyone in the staff is very friendly. It's a beautiful resort with lots of comfortable sunbeds around the pools. There is animation but not too late and not too loud

They were well-maintained and provided a relaxing oasis. We loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. Overall, our second visit was a fantastic experience

The beach, however, isn’t the most appealing, so we highly recommend renting a car to explore the surrounding area. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back!

We had two bathrooms, which was awesome and also a partial sea view which we wasn't expecting. Unfortunately there is a downside to the rooms and that is the paper thin walls

They explained everything to us and were very helpful! We stayed in room 152 which was above the Filamena restaurant. The room was very spacious with the teenagers one end and the adults at the other

Was aware of tourist room tax but the price in perk season has been hiked up to 10 euros per night per room which I found expensive on top of what you have already paid for

This disco in the bar next to the Mediterra was a laugh and this starts a little bit after the entertainment. The beach is opposite the hotel and seemed very clean and the water was calm

The transfer from the airport was roughly 20 minutes which was great! We were then greeted by lovely reception staff

The hotel fully lives up to its 4-star rating. Great location with easy access to the sea and convenient parking nearby. The reception staff are friendly and helpful — always ready to answer any questions

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

The hotel is centrally located near shops and beach. Good breakfast, ok lunch, messy dinner, recommend to have breakfast only

Good service except for the guy who works on the beach and rents out sunbeds and umbrellas, arrogant and rude. recommend to choose the nearby beaches

I would not consider this beachfront, as there were a mini shop and restaurant between front door of hotel and beach

Fast and attentive waiters at breakfast and dinner, and special thanks to the chefs for the delicious food. The hotel met all our expectations!

We dined in the Meat at the Point restaurant, and enjoyed the quinnoa rocket salad, steak, and mushroom risotto. We truly enjoyed the private pool, ocean view, and room service options

My stay at Nana Princess Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! I had a private room with a pool, and it was pure luxury

I recommend everyone, especially the beach in this place is great, the exit to the water is actually saturated with rocks but it is finally Crete, a great island in the mediterranean sea;)

That might be my best experience so far. Friendly and kind stuff and delicious food! The dinner experience is fantastic. Every day we got new surprises like wine tasting or even national dance performance

I am really impressed by this hotel. It’s right by the beach, so when falling asleep you hear the waves - very soothing. If you have a room with sea (side) view it’s even better

Very cute family-style resort. The staff was super nice, always smiling, and willing to help. Every day, we had chairs by the pool and the beach. Highly recommended for families. They also had activities during the day.

The Option to use the pool or go to the beach which was just crossing the road. The bars and restaurant gave options for dinning. The grounds are well looked after.

We stayed at Bella Beach in October for my partner’s 25th birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating from beginning to end

The next day we got an upgrade from our double room to a family room with a private pool! Top service! The food was fine but not super fantastic

We had a memorable stay at Hotel Nema in Crete! The most beautiful suite with a private pool was incredible and offered perfect privacy with no overlooking views

Rooms are big with nice garden/sea view, equipped with electric kettle, fridge, hair dryier, and safe deposit box (all for free). Food was more more than excellent. You will always find something for yourself

Straight on the beach with another beach close by. Plenty of fish if you like to snorkel. Staff attentive, friendly and professional

We were lucky to be there for two of the evening events organised by the hotel, enjoying live music and dances, as well as a DJ set

The rooms were clean, staff friendly and overall really nice hotel we enjoyed staying here for a week. Would recommend staying

when I say they are loud and disgusting spitting in the pool leaving there rubbish around the pool towels being thrown in the pool just a total disregard and disrespect for the hotel and others trying to enjoy there holiday

First day like every hotel the best spots and best sunbeds where taken by 8am but they're is plenty of sunbeds. There is a security gaurd who works of a night and stops people putting towels down before 7am

If you do not book the better rooms you are in a different building across the road it has a kids pool there but thats all I see you still have to come over to the hotel to eat and get drinks

About 2-3pm all the youngsters aka 18-25 year old come out from the night before and the pool gets really busy and the water seems to go merky

We had a sea view and I would recommend paying the extra for that as we had a little balcony and it was so lovely to sit out there in the morning sunshine to watch the world go by

Took such great care of me and even upgraded me to full sea view. Super comfy beds, great Bfast, close to everything you want here in town. Cannot recommend enough!

Even the toaster prepared the best golden toast on the first pass through! There was a choice of seating either inside or outside by the pool. 30am with hot food or until 10

first impression ok but so many things missing. Bedroom very small with limited storage in room,why not have bedside drawer units. Shelves or drawers in bathroom and some clothing hooks

! No books , flowers , paintings , magazines etc sitting there one felt uncomfortable. Pool area , why 8 dilapidated bean bag type sunbeds , use of space poor

As you can only give a maximum of 5 stars I’ve done my own rating system! Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - literally in the centre of Hersonissos with the best views! A few steps and you have the beach, restaurants and shops

As far as location, standard of accommodation, standard of service, Pool area - couldn't fault them! The place was spotless /nipping clean, the staff all courteous / attentive, any small issues quickly dealt with (and I mean - MINOR, as a samll issue with my external transfer and they helped me immensly)

We were made most welcome by the lovely staff, the ladies who ran the cafe /pool area were so lovely, always smiling and were constantly cleaning and took so much pride in their jobs

They have a lovely pool where it's generally very quiet, even in high season. The village is also very nice, with many great restaurants and a lovely authentic Greek atmosphere

One small thing that came to mind, would be likely the pool a little small for maybe groups or larger families, but they still accommodated this well as most people just timed in and out the pool themselves when it quietened down

Day to day, getting to know each and everyone, poolside or passing reception - each person spoke to just had a great sense of humour and showed extreme professionalism throughout our stay
