Such amazing choices and love they you can visit all of the restaurants too! All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them

Only down fall is the all inclusive bar but it depends on what type of holiday your looking for! It’s really close to the town with lots to do. Walking distance from the beaches lots of restaurants near by

The food has been really good I mean what do you expect at 4* hotel there have been meals for everyone

Everything for the family stay is here. Plenty of attraction, few pools and bars. Besides that location is great- everything nearby including clubs bars and restaurants

To be honest reading the reviews I was dreading coming here! I can honestly say we’ve had the best time here! The kids have loved it they’ve been busy all week with kids clubs discos every night for them the entertainment staff have been fantastic :) they been playing in pools all day and the rooms are nice as well

Disco each night was a bit repetitive but kids loved learning the same dances. food could be a bit better but we always found something to eat as there’s plenty of option. Our room was very clean with a perfect sea view

One of our party is coeliac and the meals are made personally and brought to the table. Absolute must for families!!! Hotel grounds are well tended to. Flumes are fab for the kids! Will book again when we get back

Resort is beautiful, facilities for a family are great. Lots of options for pools and dining. Beach is stunning and very close. Restaurant and bar staff are great. Resort is kept immaculately clean

Staff are the hardest working people and always so welcoming and pleasant. It has 4 single beds and 1 king size bed which is really comfortable

The pools and sheer size of the place means it really takes days to see it all. The food is the best we've had in a hotel never mind all inclusive

Staff in restaurants were friendly but reception staff seemed to not know how to offer friendly service. Rooms were clean and had everything needed but ours was smaller than pictured

Just a 20 minute ride from the airport, and right on the beach. The food was so fresh, healthy and gorgeous - every meal. Lots of choice to be fair. The bar and restaurant staff were super friendly and I will go again.

Our room had a 'picture postcard', perfect sea-view and whilst the view might have been better from the suite above but then the extra flight of stairs! As beautiful as our room may have been, the real joy was the product of all the hard work from the staff and management

This was my fourth and most relaxed visit to Crete. The only room for improvement would've been adding a week to our stay

Great place - maybe one of the best on this seaside! We stayed here for 7 day on all inclusive and were really enjoying our stay - the food is excellent, stuff polite and friendly- everyone’s smiling- the beach is 3 minutes walk - sandy and cozy) thank you very much for such a pleasant experience! A special mention for the front of house (reception) staff who, together with the customer services manager, secured an elusive booking at Black Pepper for a sunset meal on our last night

However, we felt that the dining area could benefit from more seating and a wider selection of food options, especially during peak meal times when it tended to get a bit crowded

The stay at Lyttos Mare was just wonderful. The food was really nice and the service overall was just fantastic. The rooms with individual pool are superior and come with some extra benefits

The food was fine for an all inclusive but it wasn't great, although definitely a better experience than the chaotic meals at Lyttos Beach next door. I had a massage, which was good, but don't expect any spa facilities

The same is true about the beach area. Multiple open bars are present with easy access from all directions serving alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The rooms are spacious, kept very clean daily

It is one of the better large-scale all-inclusive resorts that I have been to. The rooms and the service are just what I expect from this kind of resort

It was an excellent experience from start to finish! ✈️ Travel & Location Our trip was booked with Jet2 Holidays, flying from Leeds Bradford Airport. The flight should have been 3. 5 hours, but we had a 4-hour delay

Very clean with comfortable rooms and beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows that ensure a good night's sleep. It's very easy to access the location and is near by center of town

But there are good hotel sunbeds, umbrellas, a changing cabin, a shower, a freezer with cool water. There are also waiters from bars who bring drinks and fruits

This time we have booked all-inclusive deal with Laguna Resort in Crete and as expected it was one more unforgettable experience!!! Very nice staff and very clean rooms. The food in the main restaurant is nice the only minus i would say are the fish dishes

Rooms was clean and quite big, Daily cleaning. Staff always smiling and very helpful 😊 There is 3 pools , 1 for small children , the other 2 for older, 2big slide and in small pool few slide and splash area

We have just returned home from a week here and I wish I could have stayed longer! We were worried as we had seen so many bad reviews but this hotel is absolutely lovely

The rooms are cleaned every single morning to a high standard. The entertainment team were absolutely fantastic with our two year old and made her confidence shine through

The all-inclusive food is nice and there is a large range of different things, but there are only certain drinks included in the all-inclusive rest you have to pay for

Only constructive criticism I have is on dining staff were watching all time and taking plates when people were still eating from them. This was a daily event at restaurant

Different themes each night can highly recommend Greek Italian and Mexican so much choice. Ice cream was available all day and dinner and evening meal

Again we could not fault the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner there is plenty to choose from and if you would like a change they also have 4 onsite restaurants that are also included in your all inclusive package

Its a shame because the main restaurant buffet is absolutely delicious, some of the best I've had, but the food at La Veranda brings the overall quality down. Gave 4 starts otherwise 5 stars

We recently had the pleasure of returning for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as we remembered! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home

They were well-maintained and provided a relaxing oasis. We loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. Overall, our second visit was a fantastic experience

We arrived late at night and missed having wine or beer in the fridge, although it was stocked daily with water. The hotel offers several restaurants, and reservations can easily be made through an app

All inclusive* (*from 10:30 to 22:30) The hotel overall is good, could be great but there is just too much unnecessary annoyance especially bad micromanaging and it's more suited for families or older people

Everything as expected for such hotel type. Great food, kids' animations, facilities, swimming pools with bars, night bar with live music nice and friendly people. Nice vilage with beaches nearby (10 mins walk)

Stayed for 10 days in September and what a fab place. Excellent choice of good quality food, pool areas very clean with tasteful fun games at family pool area. All staff very friendly and helpful

And it doesn't stop there: after 22:30 you have to pay for all drinks, even for water even if you booked all inclusive but there are no prices anywere. -free WiFi is useless, paid WiFi in 2024

- 4 pools (main, kids, relaxed, slides) with plenty beach chairs (saltwater like most pools on creta, slide pools is fresh water) -bars with coffee, branded softdrinks, ice cream and even fresh cocktails (fresh lime/lemon/mint) -you need to take a transit to the beach but it's not far and will transfer you every 15 mins or faster

Apparently the beach chairs are free for hotel guests but we didn't known and just stayed for an hour because it was quite windy that day Bad: -micromanaging everywhere: you have to wait to get in the dining area, you have to wait to get seated by another guy, you have to wait to order drinks by a third waiter

Desserts were above average compared to my previous experincenses, when it comes to all inclusive. - They got a unique restaurant, which you may visit once for free

A really decent place to visit. We visited Stella Village as a group of 10 with all inclusive. Not sure if it is possible to visit this place without this option. Here is our review: - Service is great like

below average (see the picture with the 2 "logs" - supposed to be kebab - are you serious?), but we had a lot of fun. - Airplanes come and go quite closely, but not a problem

- Room was cleaned nicely every day, and the hotel gives you 4-5 water bottles, when they clean the room. - Food was decent at the buffet

- Water facilities are incredible! Go nuts! There is a fair chance that we will visit this place again!

However, the quality of the drinks served in cheap, old and way overused plastic cups were just below any criticism, it wasn't drinkable besides very low variety of drinks, some of them like mohito are for a fee

If anyone is actually reading this review, I would propose to place a sign that sunbeds can't be reserved. Not everyone is there at the same time. Another splution could be baskets for towels and personal belongings

The pools were renovated and look amazing!! There aren't enough sunbeds for everyone and many guests seem to "reserve" sunbeds by simply placing their towels on top for the whole day

Put up a sign explaining the purpose of the baskets and that sunbeds cannot be reserved. The staff in the whole hotel was extremely friendly, understanding and competent

However, the room looked nice. The restaurant – excellent, great food, and there's something for everyone (meats, salads, fish, pasta, desserts, fruits, and just about everything you can think of)

(Maybe better pool chemicals or better filtration should be used). But overall, the pool and its surroundings were very nice and pleasant. There was a bar and an afternoon restaurant by the pool

The bar offered a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and they were very good – prepared by a skilled bartender. The hotel is located right by the beach

Every evening, the dinner was in a different style (Italian, Cretan, Mexican, etc. The staff was very pleasant, and the restaurant was clean

The pool – although they take care of the pool and clean it every evening, unfortunately, the pool was slightly cloudy the entire time, and the edges of the pool could also use a cleaning

The beach was sandy and clean, with the option to use the hotel’s sun loungers and umbrellas for free. The sea in this area is very clean

The view for the sea-side rooms is breathtaking. At first we thought that climbing all the stairs is going to be a problem but we got used to it fairly quick

If you walk about 1 mile to the left at the bottom of the hill, you'll reach the town of Hersonnossis which has a buzzing nightlife, lots of bars, restaurants etc

Herssonissos Village is a beautiful place with great views and cozy rooms. The bar is fantastic, thanks to bartenders Ricardo and Dimitris. Both of them make amazing cocktails, and they are warm and friendly

👍💪 Near from beaches about 10mn walking that's a good place but you have to get a car to discover Crete Island its a very large island. not far from hotel theres a lots of cars rentals. We certainly come back in the club

I'm so happy, room nice clean and big. Friendly staff, nice food(but the chefs have to learn to coock rice because every time undercooked, and the soup every time very salty. Beaches very close 8 minutes by walk

Though I must say that the beach is a hill walk down, it was okay for me but if you’re not so sporty or have health issues or are simply a little older I’d recommend you to take a taxi to the beach n back or rent a car

One small minus: drinks bars were open for a strange time frames. In the evening it was nearly impossible to order some drinks and bring them to your room). I think it was organized this way for purpose

Great hotel, well situated with chalet style accommodation, private pools and a main pool with waterslide. Plenty of bars, restaurants, game facilities, gym, tennis courts and squash courts

If you want some to keep some cash in your pocket go shopping outside the hotel. There is a supermarket 1km from the hotel (35°20′07. 65″E) which is around 20-40% cheaper

We came from England and spend a wonderful week in Sunbay Hotel. Renovated rooms very clean and helpful staff. We asked for something extra and they were always with a smile

Today we passed this beautiful hotel on a walk and thought it was a shame that it was deserted. With the umbrellas only the rods are left and the entire system is orphaned

They could use a QR code menu or print the drinks menu on the paper place-mats which get thrown out after each guest. It's impossible to see what drinks they serve, and at which cost

Out of protest, I refused to purchase any drinks at the restaurant. I overheard a similar complaint at another table. This is simply a stupid and trival issue which can easily be solved

Hotel was recently renovated so it felt like brand new. Bed was super comfortable and yes double beds do separate but to us it made no big difference. Staff really nice people! I would give extra star for cooks
